Name: Ada Rose Lynch
Age: 19
Gender: Female
Race: Mutant
Level: Beta
Powers: Technopath
Skills / Attacks:
Stars represent rank. 1 being the lowest, 5 the highest and mastery of the skill
**Language – knows every language used for programming or scripting and can write/rewrite coding with ease.
*Power Device – Control the power an electronic device for a time as long as she stays in proximity and can keep concentration. The duration is limited by the complexity of the system and distance she is from it. Should she learn to control this, she could fry electronic systems to make them explode.
**Mental Interface – Glitch can link her mind to any computer system that she is in physical contact with or within close proximity (depending on the complexity of the system). With this, she can gain knowledge of any stored data within as well as reprogram the machine or control its operations. This is limited though as it takes much concentration and when she is ‘linking’, she is rendered nearly unconscious.
**Deep Web – Can link her mind with the internet to search through the web or deep web, can encrypt/decrypt data, or access any computer that would be linked to the internet. This has its limits since this can be very draining depending on how far into the web she goes or how much she has to go through. If she were attacked by a virus, it could potentially infect her brain and shut down functions.

Description: Ada is rather homely as she is not eye turning but she is also not unattractive so to say. She falls just under average height being 5'3, and has a slender frame for the most part, with larger curves. Her face features high cheekbones under slightly chubby cheeks, freckles speckled across the bridge of her nose and barely across her cheeks, large almond eyes that are an abnormal neon green, and thin lips. Her hair, normally a mess, is cut short with the back barely reaching the nap of her neck when straight. It is a simple short cut, almost pixie style but longer. More often than not, her bangs fall to one side of her face.

Personality: Most do not take notice of Ada. She is generally quiet and to herself, usually with headphones on, or she appears absorbed into work on an electronic device. This is not to say she is not friendly since the opposite is true. She is very friendly, but not the social butterfly that others may be. People have described her as awkward and difficult to understand since she speaks with a lot of Irish slang. Her accent is pretty deep. Mixing this with her softer tone of voice, it slurs her words together making her hard to understand at times. Ada also does not seem to filter her thoughts from words. If something is on her mind, she often speaks it regardless of if it should be said or not.
Being unable to filter her thoughts and emotions, Ada can switch quickly between emotions but almost always voices why her mood has changed. She is also a firm believer in standing up for what she believes in and for others. This has been the source of many 'fights' that she has been in and normally got her ass kicked. Determined and resilient, Ada does not give up and will keep trying until she is unable to continue. This determination makes her fiercely passionate about many things.
If someone gets to know Ada, he or she will learn she is extremely loyal, to a fault. This loyalty has brought about heartache, but she refuses to become jaded by these past events. It isn't hard to befriend her since she is very open and enjoys making new friends.

Background: Ada was born to a happy couple in late winter. Their bundle of joy was perfect, as long as they left the radio or tv on for her. When Ada took her first steps, it was to a TV. Growing up, she was always trying to get peoples phones or electronics, but this wasn’t really odd since most children do. She was normal.

Growing up, she was close to her aunt and uncle who lived nearby and spent most of her summers with them. It was a nice reprieve for her parents and her aunt and uncle got to take care of a child they desperately wished for. In small towns like the one they lived in, families were close.

Being a small town, it still held some prejudice that most of the world had overcome. It often had radical rallies for those groups that held on to their hate but also rallies for the mutants came. Humans and mutants together, rallying for change and acceptance. These two groups often clashed. It was Ada's uncle Kenny that hid her away from the horrors that happened in the streets. It became almost an annual ritual for the two parties to clash.
But the local cops normally took care of things before they got too escalated, normally. Ada was young when she found out her father was one of the old radicals and his prejudice against mutants.

At around 8, Ada began noticing that electronics would sometimes act weird around her. If she focused hard enough, a soda machine would drop her favorite drink or a snack machine would start dropping all kinds of snacks. She made things glitch. It was a mistake when she told her parents. Excited, the bouncing child showed them the money that she had gotten from a machine in town. She had never seen her father so angry. To this day, she doesn’t remember the fight, only the broken bones and scars she has from her father losing his mind.

By 10, she was being homeschooled by her aunt and uncle who had been watching her every summer since she was a toddler. It was here that she learned to love her powers and not be scared of something she didn’t understand, to not be her father. Compassion, understanding, and focus were her school regiment when regular schoolwork was completed.

All in all, it was a good life. Her guardians, one being a mutant themselves, tried to teach her control over her powers and that she couldn’t use them all the time. There were consequences.

Nothing good can ever last forever, as Ada found out. While out in town, there was a huge fight between the Enlightened and a group that was against the mutants being in town. Ada saw her father in the fray. She was shaken but her uncle quickly tried to get them out of the area. Unfortunately, he wasn’t quick enough. One of the men pulled out a gun and started shooting anyone he thought was a mutant or supporter. Among the several that were shot, was her uncle. In the streets, she watched him die. With his final words, he told her to never give in to hatred like her father and to keep her integrity that he had tried to teach her. By the time the cops had cleared the way for the ambulances, he was gone.

Despite this tragic event, over the next two years, the two managed to make it and stayed close. At the age of 18, Ada decided it was time to make her own way and left home. Since then, she has been struggling with odd jobs where ever she can find them, and simply trying to make it through. Much of her free time was searching for others like herself, but most that she found had a different ideology than what she was hoping for. She never forgot the carnage and destruction that had happened at the hands of the Enlightened and the humans who hated them.
During this time, things weren't going so great financially at home. Her aunt worked two jobs and Ada tried to find work, but the economy was getting worse. Due to this, money was tight. When Ada found her aunt selling off her some of her collector items, she decided enough was enough. Using her powers as discretely as she could, she would rob vending machines and glitch atms for smaller bills. When she would present the money, her explanation was that she got it working.

In a small town, there are only so many places you can rob before you are caught. Ada was given the choice of imprisonment for her petty theft or a 'reform' college. She was hesitant of the latter but her aunt persuaded her that it was for the best.

Tech/equipment: Laptop, cell phone, smartwatch, headphones, small (*palm-sized) drone.
Weaknesses: Though she is an expert with all electronics, Glitch has an issue where she shorts out sometimes and will randomly access nearby electronics or with a bad episode, she will short out nearby electronics by frying their systems with an overload.
When venturing into electronics or the web, she must be careful as a virus could be deadly if she was not able to escape or rewrite it. Should she become infected, it could be detrimental, if not fatal.

Name: Josiah Weyland
Age: 20
Gender: Male
Race: Mutant
Level: ???
Powers:
Telekinetic barrier Creation/Manipulation
Tactile Telekinesis
Skills / Attacks:
Stars represent rank. 1 being the lowest, 5 the highest and mastery of the skill

Tactile Telekinesis | ☆☆☆ | Josiah has a relativistic telekinetic manipulation over himself. Allowing him to push his body go the limits of physical strength he can go to. Not only does he life nearly twice the weight and impactfully hit at twice the stopping power, but nearly everything is doubled. It also provides him with damage shielding.
The downside is that he must focus constantly on not overloading his own body with his barrier, which can even break his own limbs if not careful enough. If he uses too much he can hemorrhage his own brain and body, and would be bleeding from the inside out. Xavier suggested he tried mentally lifting himself up, a form of flight, but he hasnt been able to do such things--much to bis dismay

Telekinetic Barriers | ☆☆☆ | Josiah can manipulate and create telekinetic barriers. These barriers can be locked, or free moving. Their strength and durability is relative to his own focus, as such faces similiar issues of weaknesses as a the ability before this. However he can layer barriers aroubd himself and others or layer in general to provide extra strength.

Telekinetic Pulse |☆☆| a new ability for him, which to be honest is just creative use of his barriers. He can send an omnidirectional pulse through the area and push objects, blasts, etc. away.
He also uses it to send micro pulses in objects to understand what's in them, he kept this ability a secret to disguise his fiddling with boxes as just a joke.
He had an idea to use the faintest of large pulses as a radar system, never had much luck with it however....

Description: Josiah has the look of a no-good brat and bad boy stereotype, but much to everyone's surprise he is more akin to a hyper active dog who jumps too much.
Standing at 6'2, Josiah is has been an avid fan and player of baseball all his life, lending him the look of an athletic build with rather broad shoulders. While spending his entire life on X-Men grounds, he has taken to modelling his physicality after his perceived older siblings. As the only family he knew were here.
He sports a buzzcut hairstyle, a bit of childish copying to Xavier, like a boy copying a father--he greatly respects him and idolizes him.
He sports a number of cuts and marks, denoting his struggle with his powers, as even when he was a boy he severely hurt himself trying to master his power.

Personality: Josiah is a a kind and passionate young man, truly believing in the good of people and generally not harboring intense hates towards anyone. Xavier taught him much, kindness and tolerance being the foremost things always spoken to him.
Josiah has a pure heart in how he looks at things, he understands thing are not always pleasant or benevolent--but he holds such strong hope that a brighter future can happen it is damn near possible for anyone to do good and give others that same lesson.

Determined sums up him pretty nicely as well, a strong heart for pushing forward and attempting to push past limits or make the limits work for him. The writings are on scars and broken bones he suffered his entire life trying to master his powers so that he can pay forward Xavier's kindness to the world, no matter how many times he snapped his arm or coughed up blood--he presses on.

Josiah can be seen as an airhead as well, not a total fool--but he really doesn't get nuance or metaphors all that much. He talks very literally and tells plain truths/thoughts so bluntly that it hits like a Mack Truck.

Background: Josiah wouldn't say he had a hard life, but he hasn't had rosy one either. Josiah was adopted by the Xavier and the school at a very young age--around 12 months old. His abilities were very apparent as the adoption came at the behest of parents who were anti-mutant, but unable to come to grips with these ideals clashed with a mutant child.

They struggled with the answer, and chose to give him away. Xavier understood the reasons, couldn't agree, but understood how the clash of such realities would harm the child and them rather harshly. If not lethally.
"Hopefully you will be a credit to your kind." was the last words they left for the the infant Josiah.
Josiah watched his parents walk out a door, unable to grasp the concept that he would never see his parents ever again.

Josiah's powers were apparent extremely early in his life, much to his agony. Josiah's mind learned quicker than his body could, understanding ideas like walking often was dangerous. During his first steps it was learned that he was telekinetically forcing himself to move, instead of walking himself--he had snapped both femurs from the usage.

The story of his abilities tend to run that gambit, a boy learning a bit faster than he could keep up with. Simple accidents such as reflexively catching something before his body could keep up were common til his teen years. Despite this hr was always laid back, sure he cried--but he smiled as spoke through gritted teeth; "I'm Okay!".
The traumatic moment of watching a caretaker and some of the original X-Men team watching snap his forearm at 7 years old had left him with guilt. He hated seeing anyone sad, let alone what he would consider his heroes.

"I'm okay!", became his go to response for a while, often it didn't ease the minds of others, but what can you do?

Josiah always had a thrill of sports and physical activities, namely baseball as his powers allowed him a unique playstyle.

Tech/equipment: A baseball bat and a necklace his parents left him with. His name etched on a star pendant dangling from it.
A message on the back says, "Our Brightest Star".
