Day 1
Joshua, the councilor, had his feet up on his desk and his arms crossed as he leaned back in his chair. "Now, I don't care if you guys were dragged in here by the ears or if you actually want to be here, but either way we are going to have some fun together." Kicking away from the desk, the councilor spun around in his wheel-y chair until he reached a small basket nearby.
"I'll be collecting your phones now," he commanded, placing the basket in the middle of the semi-circle of teens. "Cough 'em up, you'll be able to write letters to your parents if you want." Grinning in a mocking manner, knowing the vast majority weren't going to be writing home, Joshua stood up.
"Now, you all will have to know a few things going in. First, all the boys will be housed in Turtle Hut which is located towards the East side of the lake. The girls will all be in the Tipsy Tepee which is located towards the West. The building we are currently in is Boot Lodge, and is our base. You guys are allowed no electronics without my consent, nor are you allowed any food or drink outside of what is served in our cafeteria across the hall. Namely, no alcohol and no coffee."
"Aside from that things are pretty simple. No fighting, no dying, no getting injured... You guys are old enough now to think by yourselves, just don't do anything that will cause me to have undue paperwork and we'll be best friends."
Rubbing his hands together, Joshua pulled out eight sheets of paper out of a drawer on his desk. "Now for our first activity!" He moved around the room distributing the pages. They read, quite simply:
Complete as many of these tasks as possible. Each one will give you a certain amount of points. The person who wins will be granted one favor from me during the camp! (Favors include: phone access, internet access, food/drink requests...) You must stay in the lounge. I will be tallying points.
