An awkward smile formed on Ellen's lips as she listened to all the nice words from Zoey and Josiah. She felt like she was doing well so far, interacting with people and what not. She just had to keep it up!


She didn't notice when the professor entered the scene. She was not prepared for a sudden interaction with yet another human being, but fortunately for her, there was no need for conversation. She was given some documents to fill, something she could easily handle. But what distracted Ellen even more was the professor's assumption that they were traveling together. Who? Her? With whom? Confused about the suggestion, although not entirely against the idea as a whole, Ellen looked over the documents. Michifu, still at her feet, tried to jump up high enough to see what's on them, but the girl remained oblivious to her attempts; she took out a pen from her bag hastily and began filling in all the information after placing the paper against the wall of a nearby building.


When she was done, she looked over at others. Ellen wasn't willing to be the first one to turn hers in, she chose to wait for the others and awkwardly tag along as she usually did.

Josiah almost thought that he was back home talking with one of the excited tourists. Yes, it did look like they were all in a group, but he was planning on travelling alone with Bell. The woman's overwhelming excitement made him uncomfortable, even more so when some papers were nearly shoved onto him. Before he knew it, she was gone. It was like he was dumped with a bucket of extremely cold water. He took the time to skim through the documents, but his brain didn't seem to be thinking straight and instead just signed the papers.


If he remembered correctly, they were supposed to turn this into her office instead of the professor herself. He did so, not waiting for anyone else. The constant sounds of battling, the sound of people chattering, the feeling of people crowding him, the rising temperature in the room; it was dizzying. The lab wasn't that far away, and it seemed like a safe haven away from all these people surrounding him. He quickly made his way to the lab and sighed. What now... Should he just wait?
