...That is quite the awesome idea. I think I shall use it, just to mess with the heads of some of my [soon-to-be] players who have it in their heads that they know everything there is to know about the setting. -.-"But what if you can't remember that beginning? What if your self -your souls, the defining parts of you - have been rent asunder, corrupted, changed beyond recognition? Can you even recognize that you have changed? Or will you simply assume, like a Solar under the Great Curse, that whatever you are now, you have always been that way? And when you remake Creation in your image, lacking any other template, will you not make it as twisted and corrupt as you?
Heh... I've got something similiar in the background of the game I'm currently running...Khorebh said:...That is quite the awesome idea. Seeing how you're being all secretive, I guess Jupiter.Haku said:It's one of the Celestial Incarna... I'll let you guess which one. ^_-

(Drat, I was so looking forward to the rabid foaming and screaming. I really must stop being so damned convincing. And reasonable. And nice...)

Also, fuck Borgstrom, from whom your assertion is no doubt derived.
Yeah. They tend to.Stillborn said:Your sig needs some proof-reading, Andrew.

Dear boy. Whoever said I was talking about you?Andrew02 said:Fuck you. I never scream and I am not rabid.
You do me great wrong. I base my hypotheses on canon text drawn from many different sources, and (like Joseph) am biased against much of Bergstrom's work. It cuts me to the quick that you'd compare me to someone so universally reviled. ÂAndrew02 said:Also, fuck Borgstrom, from whom your assertion is no doubt derived.
Why is that such great need to insult Borgstrom even when she's not here, has nothing to do with the subject? Is there some... psychosis or obsession you have with her?You do me great wrong. I do not think I can admit to such a blatant falsehood.Haku said:Admit it, 'Drew... secretly, you're one of her fanboys.
In full honesty, Nobilis is a VERY fun game to play, and I've been giving serious thoughts on porting either exalted to that system or vice versa. Â :twisted:Andrew02 said:I do not think I can admit to such a blatant falsehood.Haku said:Admit it, 'Drew... secretly, you're one of her fanboys.
But thanks for taking a break from your Nobilis marathon to pipe in, champ.
It's not sick... I just feel that Nobilis would make for a wonderful system for high powered games (say First Age solars)... or at least easily simulate the Primordials doing their thing... it might even be fun to play a soul of a primordial as you try to fight off the servants of those rebellious gods. ^_-Haku--You're a very sick, sick, sick Canadian.
It's one of the things that I like about you, don't get me wrong. But that last statement scares me, just a little.
If you do, let me see the changes though....
Alright' date=' I'll play the sheltered one, what's Nobilis?[/quote']
"Nobilis : A game of greater powers" is an interesting game created by a certain R Sean Borgstrom. It can't be explained... I can only show you the way.

All I can say is this, the core book is the only book out there and all you need. The rest relies on YOUR imagination and how it interacts with your players'...
Indeed... it's good stuff... buy a copy. Help support Burgstrom, show her that Exalted isn't her only calling. ^_-O.o sweet stuff
