Fantasy Demetrix Academy

"Well, are there any sort of rules or regulations about this assassin thing? How do you get a job? Oh, and I'd love to learn some more about strategies and tactics, I've never had a second person to factor into my plans so I'm not sure I can accommodate that into my preexisting plans." Kira released a giant breath, a silly grin on her face. "And, I just want to know how you do things." She said, a touch more serious. "I want to help, not hinder. Show me how to do that."

Nanami smiled and reached up, pulling herself out. "You want me to scream more, or do my siren giz?" She asked. She could make them zombies, which wasn't her favorite, and she wasn't very good. "Well to bad." She said getting in position. She started to sing, her voice carrying out over the place. She began to bend the sound waves, under control of the two of them.
"Wow that's amazing." Margo muttered in awe, closing her eyes and enjoying the music. Everyone here seemed to be so different and diverse, and yet very accepting. She thought perhaps these people would be more tolerant of her powers, be able to handle them better than a mere mortal could. She decided to test it out, and since this guy here was so damn keen on knowing her, though she didn't really want to be known, she would give him a taste that would, hopefully, shut him up. She turned her powers on him. It was easy when she summoned it, controlling it was the difficult part. She made him want her, hate her, loath her, want her dead, want her love, everything all within second of each other. She watched as his face contorted in confusion and as he was brought to his knees. She cut it off, or at least she thinks she did. Some part of her still wanted him to not like her so he would leave her alone, so that bit may have remained.

Lace lifted a timid hand to pet the top of Sages head an action he hadn't performed in awhile. He thought about her questions,

"Rules," he murmured under his breath, "well don't get yourself killed. You'll need to be evaluated so I can really see your skills, always walk tall because your always representing the Louswith family. Don't hide your weaknesses, know your enemy, don't act on emotion, the job before a friend." He paused after he stated that one hes never really needed to think about that rule till right then he suppose.

"Those are the basics, perhaps I can teach you some things after your physical evaluations. If you want a job you'll most definitely need to meet with someone of higher standard then me. Then strategies we'll share those later on."

All the feelings of want Margo, hate Margo, loath Margo, want Margo dead, want Margo love, everything all within second of each other it was bad but good same time really liked it.He fell to the ground with a smile on his face but he notice that he hated her a little bit enough to make him leave her alone but he promised her that he will help."That was a ride of feelings but you left a little bit of hate in me"he small at her.I made a promise and I'm going to keep it no matter what I feel helping her comes first

Margo sighed, frustrated and turned to her roommate with an eye role. "If you start to have nightmares, I can just do this." She said with a grin, sending such feelings of peace, love and just general happiness her way. She used to do this to herself before she realized how stupid she must have looked running around, skipping, singing, dancing with joy.

Kira smiled as Lace gently petted Sage. Then her eyes widened as he listed several rules. "Really? Those seem like Orphanage Rules to me." She murmured quietly, raising her own hand to Shadow. "Well, we survived just fine there and we'll survive just fine now." She declared, determination clear in her voice. Then she smiled up at Lace. "So what's this about an evaluation? Will it be during the day or the night? Can it be now?"

Lace paused and eyed their surroundings, but he knew it would be a bit difficult to read everything with the single contact lens. But still nodded in agreement,

"I'll evaluate you in both your best and worst circumstances, so yes the first test could be right now but there will be a part two and that will be during the light if day." He explained speaking as the words came to mind and finally lowered his hands from Sage and turned to look at Kira.

Kira blinked. There was something strange about his eyes... "Lace, can you see alright? One eye is squinting..." She flushed as she realized what she had asked. "Sorry, I didn't mean to..." She fell quiet, a bit embarrassed by herself. Lace was a friend now and she cared for her friends.

Nanami smiled as she sent those thoughts her way. "Ok, ok. But if you start screaming, I have all right to make you a zombie and shut you up." She said, smiling at her. They were going to be good friends, she could tell. She laughed and continued smiling, her body glowing slightly less now that she had calmed down a bit.

Margo chuckled. "Well, if I am screaming I would hope you'd find out why first before you zombified me! That's a pretty neat power though. Can you only do it to people? Show me on a chipmunk!" She urged.

Nami smiled. "Alright, I can try." She said. She looked at the tree next to her and saw a squirrel. She looked at it and began to sing. The squirrel froze and looked at her, eyes wide. She smiled and changed the sound waves a bit and the squirrel started to dance on the branch. Laughing, Nami spoke the words, "Release." And the squirrel was back to normal.

Lace looked over at the girl taking note of her observation, he hadn't realized he was squinting. During his training from when he was a child they wouldn't allow him to wear his glasses and he habitually began squinting as if it helped it seemed.

"I lost one of my contacts, it's fine." He stated reassuringly as he straightened his back a bit as he noticed it was weakening.

"Woah!" Margo laughed. "That's pretty neat, you really are a siren." She said with a grin. "I'm starving. Want to grab some dinner?" she asked.

Nami nodded. "Haruhi." She said, her wolf friend bounding up to the branch next to her. She smiled and climbed on her. "Catch me if you can." She said as Haruhi took off into the sky. She loved doing this. Haruhi was a big wolf after all, with the wings and everything. Riding her was just a bonus that came with an awesome pet.

Margo gaped. "Damn you people with your magical flying pets!!" she shouted, shaking her fist comically up at them. Well, Margo didn't have any powers that could make her go any faster, so she began the walk back to campus.

Nami reached campus in a few minutes, landing and stepping of Haruhi. She smiled and patted her head, walking inside. She smiled and opened the door of her dorm room, Haruhi sitting down on her bed. She smiled at her pet and tossed her a bone. She grabbed it and started chewing on it. "Be nice to my stuff." She called, leaving the room.

Margo got back, huffing and puffing. She seriously needed to start working out, she was out if shape. Although her brother had said the physical demands of the school were extreme, so she hoped she would be in shape before summer. She walled back to the room she shared with Nami and was started by the wolf creature. "Jesus you scared me. Where's Nami?" she asked her, quickly changing into her free time clothes, a simple polka dot dress. She grabbed her wallet and headed out, then found Nami. "Where ya wanna eat?" she asked her with a grin, her curls flouncing.

Nami smiled. "Anywhere sounds good, though my favorites are pizza and mandarin chicken at the Chinese place." She said, looking around and then back at her roommate. She had some interesting hair, but that made two of them. She had a feeling they would become the dynamic duo of the school in no time.

"Oh." Kira blinked again. She hadn't realized that Lace wore contacts. "Well, can we start the evaluation then? What will it consist of? Are there any rules or boundaries?" She asked rapid-fire questions, growing more serious with every word. Even Shadow straightened up slightly, his eyes fixed upon Lace.

Lace scratched his cheek as he eyed their surroundings once more to make sure he had memorised everything correctly,

"I'm testing you in different trials, you'll do the same set for each test for both night and day. So first we're testing your physical build without the use of your powers." Sage hopped off her owners shoulder and onto a nearby branch just before he removed his coat and threw it onto the same branch.

"Only fists, you and me three minutes. I'm not allowed to hit you until the last minute though, for the first two I'll be simply evading your attacks. There are no boundaries, and right now the single rule is to not use your powers." Lace removed his hat as well before leaning into the tree waiting for her response. His dead eyes staring at her with expectation.

"Chinese sounds awesome right now." Margo agreed, her mouth already watering. "I don't know where anything is though. I'm new this year, even though I'm a senior. How long have you been here?" she asked.

"Hmm..." Kira hummed in her throat, slowly crouching on the balls of her feet. Shadow jumped off her shoulder to land by her feet, fur bristling and teeth bared. Bringing one fist up to her chest and the other straight in front of her, she took a deep breath and then exploded. One leg arched up towards his face while one fist aimed for a spot right below his waist. The other stayed tight to her side, ready to lash out if an opportunity arose.

(Okay guys, could you at least wait for everyone to catch up? Sorry, but not everyone is free all the time and it's inconvenient to force others to catch up.)

Lei hurried into her dorm, exasperated and out of breath. "I'm. Sorry. I'm. Late. Had. To go to the. Library," she murmured hurriedly, sitting on the covers of her bed.

Lace watched her stance marking the small sections of weakness, and as an attack occurred he stepped back from her reach before jumping and taking hold of the nearest branch tugging himself up into a sitting position on top of it with ease his expression still lacking expression.

"Okay, the time has begun." He stated simply awaiting her next move.
