Realistic or Modern Deception and Perception

He turned around and held out his hand, "Come on, you could probably use this just as much as I do." She made him feel perfect, and to hold her in bed was all he wanted. "As much as I love the thought of you sneaking in when I am sleeping, I lock my door, so now or never my dear.".

She took his hand, her soft hands intertwining with his, chuckling softly. "I'll be sleeping as soon as my head hits the pillow, I hope you know that.." Her eyes were droopy, her smile sleepy. A warm bed sounded amazing, and spending it next to someone sounded even better, which made her even more tired.

Hunter laughed, "Well that works for me, but on one condition that is." He led her to a bedroom, it matched the futuristic looking living room. He led her to the bed and sat her down, releasing his grip. "I've treated you to my whole bottle of champagne..." He locked the door, and turned out the lights, "I think I might deserve a good night kiss." The moonlight was weak, the sun was already peaking, but Natalie could still see a childish smile perk across Hunter's lips as he sat down on the other side of the bed.

"Hmmm.." She walked round to him and sat on his lap, pushing him back down on the bed. Her legs were round him tightly, hands pressed against his chest. As she leaned in slowly, she looked into his eyes. Inches away from his face, "Don't you wish.." She smirked and giggled, crawling over him and quickly wrapping herself in the covers, her giggle could be heard.

Hunter was a fair a sport and laughed, this girl really go to him, "That's just a certain kind of mean.". Hunter turned to her and pouted, making as much noise as possible. Sighing and whining, he was determined either agitate her or get his kiss. This was to hide his nervousness from her on top of him, ultimately to hide his excitement for his heart was beating fast. "And I was just starting to think you liked me." He pouted, waiting for her to acknowledge him.

Laughing still, she looked at him. Adorable, she thought. "Look at your lil' face! That's so cute!" Laughing more at his pathetic whining noises, she wiped her eyes and held her stomach.

"Will you stop your whining! You sound like a dying dog and believe it or not, that's a turn-off for a girl!" Smirking, she sat back up.

Hunter made a seductive face, a smug look crossing it, "Oh oh, now ma'am, you have never seen me try to turn a woman on. That is were my true skill lies." He then realized he was keeping her up, his face turned soft. "Lets go to sleep.". He layed down, slipping under the covers right next to her. He layed his arm across to her side and waited for her to fall into place.

Chuckling softly, she lay back, snuggling into his side. Lifting her leg over him and putting her arm round him, she closed her eyes. "Thank you..by the way, for this." Opening her eyes again, she looked up at him from the crook of his neck, "It means a lot, not a lot of people would do this for me, if any."

"Well Natalie, if you will let me, I wouldn't mind doing this for the rest of my life." Everything was in place and he finally felt to trust her completely. He sighed, taking one her hands before closing his eyes, "My name is Hunter, Sly is the name most people call me in the company.".

She smiled, "Hunter...huh? I like it.." Before closing her eyes, she kissed his chin and rested her head back into the crook of his neck.

Her breathing slowed as she began to drift off, feeling safe, comfortable, warm and peaceful.

Hunter relaxed, he let his eyes close, it wasn't exactly the kind of kiss he wanted, but it all felt the same. He was calm with her, and perfectly at peace. He wasn't worried at all about the Syndicate, for he now had a new found confidence in both himself and his friends. I think I should get a raise for getting her, wasn't the easiest cookie to crack. Hunter almost chuckled before remembering who he was with. He put his phone in his hand for the directions for today were going to come soon enough. He closed his eyes and drifted asleep.

Falling asleep, breathing softly, her grip round him relaxed. This was the most relaxed she had felt in a long time. Despite still feeling anxious, it all seemed to drift away in her sleep.

No nightmares, at least for that night.

After a while of staring at the painting he began to tire of the sight, he needed something to entertain him... His eyes drifted over to the laptop the music in the bar was being controlled from and he nearly leaped onto it, his hands darted onto the keys and began typing away furiously until he found a fitting song "Happy by Pharrell Williams" and set it on repeat while he merrily danced back to the chair, clicking his fingers from side to side with each step in time with the beat - he proceeded to walk past the chair and continued to move around the bar using the dance moves as he goes. This is more like it he thought to himself...

He would go to sit in the alley way beside the bar the night growing dark however being an insomniac Virgil was far from tired and exhausted. Now his mind how ever was far more violent and active thinking of ways to torture this man once he was captured. He'd look up to see a slight light in the street it was a barrel fire that a homeless person was using for warmth on this cold night. Uh oh. Images of burning buildings, people, and random items started flowing through his mind he'd reach around before standing up approaching a passer-by who had just left the bar to light a cigarette. "Can I borrow your light?" would be the words that danced along his lips, the man in return would toss it to Virgil. "Keep it, I just snatched it from someone inside." A devilish grin tugged on his lips as he went back into the alley way, he'd come across various paper and cardboard like trash's and things perfect for burning. So Virgil would go and set these things on fire lighting the alley ablaze staring at it the flames dancing putting a glint in his eyes. He'd tend to the flames as if it were a young child that was about to go to bed, draping things over it watching the flames grow in intensity. He'd then start to fill up a trash can with papers with shards of glass filling it as well. Virgil would look back towards the homeless fire barrel and start snatching the alcoholic drinks from some of the sleeping men and woman's hands, though as he did he was prepared to cave one of their faces in if they acted in a wrong way. He'd make his way back to the can he was making filling it with alcohol causing a good amount of papers to float filling a good four inches in the bottom of this can. He'd set aside three bottles how ever stuffing their tips with dirty rags from the dumpsters flipping them over for a moment allowing the alcohol to soak some of the rags before flipping them back over.

Virgil would clap his hands together silently. 'Oh the fun begins.' he thought while watching the alley fire made before envelop the side of the bar. He grabbed the three bottles and trash can making his way to the entrance of the bar lighting four parts of the trash can on fire. Setting down the bottles to the side of the door as he continued. He'd then take a piece of cardboard lighting it on fire dropping it into the trash can before opening the door with his shoulder tossing in the can o' fire. There would be a moment of silence as everyone looked to the flaming trash can. Two..three..four...then there was a massive fireball that shot out of the trash can setting a table and a few chairs on fire before there would be a minor explosion inside from the chemical reaction. Some of those papers were already doused with things when he grabbed them from the dumpsters. Then there was a second fireball further feeding this fire inside of the bar, people were quick to react some running out only to get a steel fist to the center of their chest knocking them down and unconscious. Virgil was making sure he captured this man. Virgil quickly lit the closest bottle on fire grabbing it up before sending it flying into the bar causing a minor explosion. This one hit the laptop directly and enveloped half the bar quickly lighting pictures on fire. Uh oh. The bar was on fire this meaning that the alcohol and canned drinks would start to become super-heated. There was only two minutes until a massive explosion went off from the combined small explosions from the super-heated objects. All the while another make-shift firebomb would get sent through the front door exploding before the entrance causing even more mayhem as the only way out was now blocked by fire. Of course there were windows these people could try. But that's what Virgil was hoping, he had eyes watching his back for other escapees trying to get out. That man that Joel had sent out as a guise was the only key-holder for that back entrance as well, he had doomed himself with his little trick. Then a final explosion went off on the opposite side of the bar this would also in two minutes cause a massive chain explosion from the alcohol and canned beverages. This bar would not be surviving the outcome this was for sure. Virgil took a few step backs away from the door waiting prowling in the alley until a crowd gathered outside to which he'd come up and act like a innocent-bystander watching this local bar get set ablaze from the inside out. There would be ten minutes before the fire department could arrive for they weren't placed close to this building, they'd also start on the fire outside in the alley before they'd go to inside the building. Adding an additional four minutes to their time of arrival inside the building. Or to put in better terms massive oven.

Joel coughed a little and hefted a table off his chest, he wasn't injured much, just a small cut on his arm from a shard of glass which had struck him. Noticing the fire fairly quickly from the dazed state he was in, something else also occurred to him - the only way out was through the door and out into their grasp... He could always kill himself. But where's the fun in that he decided, shakily getting to his feet and staggering through the door of the building, barely able to stand he knew there wasn't much he could do here "Alright, you got me you cocksuckers..." he said in what was almost a hiss, his eyes drifting around to see which of the people would make a move for him so he could get a mental image of their face - this was his only chance to get out alive even if there was a worse fate awaiting him.

Feeling her phone vibrate in her pocket, Natalie slowly opened her eyes, groaning. Blinking a few times and cuddling closer, she remembered where she was. Hey, I actually had a good sleep. Holding back a large yawn that was about to emerge, she worried over the text that she had received, and became too anxious to read it.

Nat laid her head back down, looking up at Hunter sleeping, he was adorable, she couldn't help but smile slightly.

He felt the girl beginning to stir and awoke fairly easily. "Well good morning beautiful, glad you stayed the whole night." He smiled, his eyes still half closed, looking at her. "Did you get a message too? I thought we were the only ones who did that." He chuckled while stretching, letting out a yawn that was fairly high pitched for his voice.

Natalie chuckled, "Of course I stayed, and yeah.. every morning." She pulled her arm and leg away, stretching also and relaxing, arms above her head. As she looked up at the ceiling, her mind pondered. "Great sleep.. What about you?" Nat turned her head to him, smiling softly with sleepy eyes.

"Lets just say my dream came true." He looked at her, eyes wide now, smiling softly. "Come here, I don't want to get up just yet, plus we have no where to be.". Hunter laid back down, arms open.

She scooted over again, coming back into his warm arms. As she rested her head on his chest, she yawned and traced her fingers across his chest gently. "..Why did you first talk to me?"

"I haven't even had a first date and you are asking me these kinds of questions." Hunter said full of sass, then it became soft. "Well, to be honest I had intended to flirt with you to get information. But under that I thought you were absolutely beautiful, your eyes glistened off the fire causing them to sparkle, and your hair was flowing in the smoky wind seeming as if you were hot enough to catch fire. Then you started to talk to me, your voice silky enough to calm me, but fierce enough to make you dangerous. I hate to admit it, but your pretty much perfect, besides that whole Syndicate thing, and your ability to resist my kiss.".

She couldn't help but chuckle softly, "Wow.. You really have a way with words, don't you Hunter? Do you do this with all the girls you meet outside crime scenes?" Winking up at him, she pat his chest. "Ah, but a lady never kisses until after a first date, am I right?" Her usual smirk spread across her face, her cheeks slightly rosy and smooth.

Hunter chuckled, "No ma'am, only the perfect ones." She patted his chest, he flexed by instinct. "Lots of ladies do, but it takes a lot to wait. So either you care about me a lot, or your pulling my leg." He smiled back at her, he put his arms around her.

"Hm, what do you think?" Smirking up at him, she tilted her head slightly, it was funny to mess with him, but at the same time she really did care. Natalie was just scared to go in too deep, and prayed to God that she wouldn't end up hurting him like she always ended up doing. Break ups as a result of her constant joking, break ups as a result of her sudden coldness, break ups as a result of her constant drinking..the list goes on and on, but Natalie hoped that this time around, it would be different. Whether it lasted for just a few days, few weeks, whatever, she was happy in his arms.

Feitan watched with a smirk as his partner in crime lit the place up, slowly burning down though he didn't drop his guard as he kept a strong watch on the place making sure no one got past Virgil. As Virgil stopped anyone coming out he eventually got lost in the crowd which was Feitan's queue to get ready and shoot anyone who game out though he wasn't shooting to kill, instead he was aiming for the upper shoulder. With a gun of this caliber it could easily drop anyone hit by a shot no matter how tough they were thought to be. Slowly in and slowly out, Feitan didn't change his pace of breath in case someone decided to try and sneak out, or make it out; watching intently Feitan saw someone who seemed to be in quite the daze make their way out, he deduced that it had to be their Syndicate as he seemed to be the last one emerging from the bar.

With the man's current state, and Feitan's skilled shooting there was no way to miss, he gave the man a moment to make his way out of most of the wreckage before the end of Feitan's breath escaped his lips, his finger flexing inwards as the shot was taken; scope aimed directly at Joel's left shoulder there shouldn't be any way to miss the shot and Feitan was sure of this. If the shot landed successfully Joel would be laid flat on the ground just from the high caliber bullets impact. Not a lot went through his mind when Feitan pulled the trigger, but he knew every time he did someone would be feeling the blunt force of his shot and he was okay with this even if they died as he watched it didn't make him sad or happy he remained his normal self; doing this for so long he's gotten used to it and it has yet to faze him though that's just his normal reaction. When Feitan ended an innocent mans life earlier it didn't occur to him, because to him every single person in this world has done something bad that keeps them away from the innocent path. Feitan viewed himself as some type of retribution hammer, though he wasn't religious he just believed to be taking out the scum of the world.

If Feitan saw that it was a confirmed miss he'd be ready to take another shot as he'd still have three more bullets left in his magazine. Once he's done Feitan would begin packing his rifle up, unscrewing every little bit but doing so with speed as he'd assume the police should have been able to deduce his current location by now, and if they hadn't he still wouldn't take the chance. Finishing packing he would jump to the nearest building landing into a roll and taking off, making his way to a closer building near the bar, ready to assist if he needed to though he most likely didn't have to help Virgil, he seemed to be a pro in close quarter and Feitan didn't doubt this so he only made his way at half speed.
