Realistic or Modern Deception and Perception

"Well I can't say I didn't notice that, but it was mostly those stunning eyes of yours." She looked off into the distance, "Do you have somewhere to be, I don't want to keep ya." He almost frowned, he didn't want to revert to taking her by force, he really liked this girl.

Her soft smile played on her face, she loved compliments on her eyes. "Somewhere to be? No, like I said, I was supposed to meet Cheryl here..but she's obviously not coming." She sighed as she took out her phone, checking it, of course, no messages.

"While you have your phone out may I see it?" Hunter moved fairly fast with women, but he didn't care if it took infinity with this girl. The comrades behind her were looking over their phones, hopefully meeting with Virgil to find other members.

Chase had forgotten Virgil was eighteen years old and looked at Feitan. He finished his scotch and stood up. "You coming?" he asked before turning to leave and meet Virgil outside.

"My phone?" She looked at him and raised an eyebrow, "Whyy...?" At this point she began to worry, what if another member were to flash up on her phone? Nat was reassured when she remembered she had noted them as different names.

"Well hopefully to give you my number, I doubt I will be taking you home tonight, and I just want to make sure I get a call back." He entered his number in with the name; Sly, but you can call me anything.

Convel looked up to notice the woman wake up as he raised his hand and tossed her his phone with all his info he had kn her except her real name "for a ruby syndicate you let your gaurd down...even on your home turf" he said as a toy car with a tray with a tea set and snake rideing in the middle if the tray next to the rea pot while he pushed on the sticks of a remote control for the car "tea?" convel asked as he served himself some
Sylvia caught the phone cutting the scared act and changed it to a bored look once she looked down at the phone. "I would love some tea." Crossing her legs one over the other she sighed, "The only way he was probably able to track me is if he also was part of the Ruby Syndicate. He came in to my apartment while I was asleep and unfortunately I don't sleep with my eyes open. What I want to know is why the bastard saw it fit to just waltz into my apartment like he did unless he plans on going against the syndicate in some way. Now you're probably wondering why I'm giving you all this information." She slightly leaned over and gave him an intense gaze. "It is because truth is, none of this information is important to you but at the same time if this information gives any help to taking him down then why not tell you? Point is, I'm not happy, and when I'm not happy no one, not even you, can stop me from my goal and my goal is to figure out what that man, Joel's deal is." After giving that monologue, she tossed his phone back at him.

Virgil was tapping his fingers along the edge of his board to the beat of the new song playing which was Amber by Stick to Your Guns. He'd stop to take another sip of his drink before leaning his back against the wall closing his eyes. Placing his head against the cold brick of the building since this side was in fact in the shade. He'd look to the end of the wall waiting for one of his comrades to come join him soon.

Feitan downed his drink leaving the empty glass with the other four in front of him, he really loved his iced tea though this most likely made him look like an alcoholic. Quickly standing up Feitan slung his satchel under his trench coat before closing it up tightly, as he made his way to the door he gave a nod to the bar tender, grabbed his medium sized bag and made his way out. Once reaching the street he popped his hood up to cover his face from the sun then made his way over to Virgil, giving him a nod before standing next to him. "Who is this R.S you found? And how did you manage to get her phone? Ah never mind I don't really care, are we going after her, or seeing if she will lead us to more members and then hit them up? Or should we wait for commands."

Feitan shrugged his shoulder not really caring, though it was his job so he had to ask questions to secure his own safety. Gesturing to his bag Feitan cleared his throat. "I have what we need to take them from a safe distance though that's probably not your thing, it is mine and it is the safest approach though safety isn't my biggest problem it is for some of the others." Once again he quieted down standing next to him.

Virgil just looked at the upcoming man for a few moments looking him over seeing it was Feitan before taking another drink letting him bicker. He knew he was going to converse with himself so he didn't bother saying anything yet just kind of waiting. He'd go to stand up looking over Feitan again before gazing behind him pulling out the flip phone showing him the contents. "Well so the owner of the phone is Sylvia, a number in there is 'The Boss'. Which I presume is the RS Boss's number, or his or her contact number." He'd then proceed to let Feitan look through the phone as he pleased possibly making him silent long enough for him to speak. "Well I found it in the building that was linked with the R.S. I mean why else would it be target to an attack? There was an arrow in the building which may of started the fire along with a broken window." He'd say taking another sip from his drink. "Now we'll use the number on there to try and bait the R.S. into going for the Articulate so we can proceed unhindered. I do plan on drawing blood however.." He'd then reach into this pants, under the elastics and proceeded to what looked like rearrange himself but he was instead untying his cestus so he could put them on he'd look to Feitan. "Well let's start this little ploy."

Chase walked out with Feitan and leaned against the wall as the two spoke about the plan. He looked at the phone from over Feitan's shoulder. He didn't mind shedding blood but he wasn't going to be the one shedding it.

She smiled, "You could've just said, any man that's nice as you could get my number anyday."

Natalie took her phone back and looked at his name, before putting it back in her pocket. "So...Mr. Party Hoster, tell me more about yourself."

After waiting in line for a while Joel finally reached the counter and purchased his tea, he proceeded to take it over towards a table by himself then taking a seat at one of the smooth wooden chairs, admiring the design atop the table which seemed to be etched into a glass surface. A few minutes passed and the plane, white cup was empty, placing it on the table Joel headed for the door and exited the shop before checking his phone "Oh... Motherfucker Avenue? I'll be right there." followed by an almost silent laugh, he spoke quietly though drew a few frowns of distaste from those around him and a laugh from a couple of teenagers who had been talking nearby. Slipping the phone back into his pocket he began to head down the street in the direction of his own house for a change of clothes - he'd introduced himself now so it'd be fine to come in something more casual.

"Ah, me well there is not much to tell, I like long walks on the beach, I enjoy a drink with a beautiful lady," At this he tipped his glass towards her, "And I am single, just in case you were wondering." Of course this was all meant to flirt with her, his company information, well that would come later. This girl didn't seem like a tough cookie to crack, she trusted him enough to let him offer her two drinks, without a glance to check for drugs, which he would never put in her drink, but still.

"A guy like you? Single?" She smirked, "Wow." She downed the rest of her drink.

Reality seemed to hit her, what was she doing? Job came first, pleasure came second. And just like that, her phone began to ring. Nat jumped slightly and pulled it out, looking at it for a bit before answering.

"Hello..." She said sheepishly, "Look I-..I'm..What?" Being given the information that The Zeppelin members were on the move, her eyes widened. "I don't give a f*ck what you want me to do.." As she hung up, she put her phone away and ran her fingers through her hair.

"Mhmm, shocker right? So where is your man, he shouldn't leave an angel alone for so long." He smiled, but before his compliment could reach her ears, her phone went off. Hunter's eyes narrowed as he listened, he was going to make a move, but the outburst caused him to reel. "Who was that? Are you ok?"

After a short while he was already back at the door to his house, it wasn't small but not exactly big by any means - simply perched on the edge of the street with the same pattern of mainly pale bricks plastering the walls, four windows on the front and a simple door, which is why he detested living here. Upon unlocking the door and stepping inside he found himself within a place he could call home, the walls were all different colors with different posters and paintings of things from anime, to gaming, to animals, and floor followed the same crazy pattern as the walls, it was different in each room, sometimes laminate and sometimes tiled...

Joel then proceed upstairs on the multicolored steps which were in the order of the rainbow backwards before swooping into his room - literally, and dropping flat onto his bed, then getting back up and undressing. His phone began to ring so he answered while taking a moment to admire himself in the mirror, what's life without a bit of self-confidence he always thought. Joel remained silent after accepting the call, he never spoke first during a call. The caller spoke causing Joel to return with "You know why, I always find it so awkward speaking first." in a sort of patronizing manner - the conversation then continued for around in a minute in hushed tones before finishing with "Bye bye, amigo!" accompanied by an amused shake of his head. Quickly dressing himself in a red tank-top with brown cargo pants and a pair of black boots, oh and "How could I forget my shades!?" he groaned, snatching them up off a glass table then sliding them into his pocket "You gotta be badass, at the right time, all about the timing..." he had sub-consciously been speaking aloud the entire time which he only noticed upon finishing what he was saying. Moving down into his kitchen he grabbed a twix and a Magpul FPG with two mags which was then folded up and shoved into one of the pockets on the side of his cargo pants, the magazines slotted into the other leg's pocket as he headed out the door and began walking away from his house taking a bite out of his bar happily before realising he's an idiot and unwrapping it so it's actually edible.

She swallowed hard, Natalie was just asked to get her act together, and meet up with the others by the contact member of the Syndicate. They also asked her to meet with the boss, probably for a telling off.

"It's..nothing.. My ex, he won't stop bugging me." Nat rubbed her forehead, "Sorry..Let's just.." She smiled and pulled her head up, "Forget about that."

"The Syndicate aren't treating you well, are they Natalie?" He looked at her, genuine sincere across his face, "For the most profitable company you would think they would be more relaxed." Hunter swallowed his drink, he knew he was going to be met with something different here, he looked into her eyes. No anger, rage, hatred, or disgust on his face, just loneliness, for he knew what this girl must be going through.

Her eyes widened slightly, "What are you talking about.." Sh*t, how did he know? Natalie tried the best she could to act confused, but she was taken by surprise.

I should've known, she thought, He's using me.

"Syndicate?" She raised an eyebrow.

"A girl just happening by a building engulfed by fire, with two strange men leaving the building. One of whom was carrying a girl, she left her cell phone and my comrade has it. We have plenty of information on a couple of your associates, including you in particular." He placed his hand on hers "I know you are thinking I am just using you, but think about it, I haven't asked you a single question about them. If I wanted information you would have been drugged hours ago, I don't need information. We have information, we also have their meeting point, the one you are missing. I care about you, I even had to tell my associates not to touch you." He let his eyes fall, this girl was tricky, "You aren't happy with the Syndicate, the company is horrible to its patrons, please just trust me when I say I am not trying to get information." He looked at her in the eyes. "You know Romeo and Juliet's story was not as complicated at this one." He tried to make her laugh, hiding the regret in his voice. You are going to lose her, like everyone else..

Natalie pulled her hand away, quickly, "You're part of The Zeppelin..aren't you." She kept her voice to a whisper, "You're trying to tell me you aren't going to use me, but you've been texting back and forth to your 'friends'? Do you know what the Syndicate are going to do to me once they find out? And that girl, who's phone you have? If she's not already dead, she will be after." Sitting back and gritting her teeth, Natalie tried not to let her eyes water.

Joel continued to walk back down the street before taking his phone out and staring at it a moment "Grrrr, damn, signals... Must be a reason..." he muttered before widening his eyes and beginning to move at a jogging pace as if just getting exercise, trying not to draw attention to himself while making his way towards his destination - the feeling of adrenaline pumping in his veins with the thrill of the hunt. Everything he said made sense now Joel thought to himself, causing him to smile a little before realising he was still in public and rectifying it into a blank expression like everyone else who was making their way to their destinations like individual beads of water in a stream. He looked back at the phone and whispered to himself again "Not much further now..." followed by the slowing of his pace to a walk, his eyes flashing back up ahead of him to watch the path while keeping his phone held in a tight grip.

"What my friends do isn't my problem, I am trying to protect you!" Hunter was hurt, he voice rattled the bar, he lowered to a whisper, "Natalie you are already in too deep, whether or not you go back to your company they will hurt you." Hunter felt his voice staggering, "I didn't approach you because of the company, I didn't take you here because of the company, and I sure as hell didn't just have the best time I've had in long time for the company." Hunter leaned back, "Don't you think you should enjoy your life Natalie, not living in loneliness with a cold hearted job."

Her hands gripped her hair as she leaned on the table. "They'll find me, hell, they always do. So you may as well get out while you can, before they get you." Natalie pulled on her hair tighter, her life was a mess, she didn't want this anymore, she didn't want any of this. "What can you do.. As if your friends will be alright with you flirting with a Syndicate member, they'll kill me, and if they try I won't hesitate to hurt them back..."
