Realistic or Modern Deception and Perception

He laughed, rolling his eyes, if only she knew. "I don't know what you mean, the streets have never been so clearer." He chuckled. The bar was open, as Hunter held the door open for Natalie, and sadly let go of her grip to allow her inside. "So where is your friend?" he glanced around the room.

"Thank you, such a gentleman." She smirked and walked inside, looking round, smirk dropping, turning to a frown. "Where is she? Maybe she's late..." Nat sighed, "Nevermind, she can meet us here I guess." Little did he know, she was never going to show, she didn't exist, but Natalie found herself wishing she did. Afterall, Ruby Syndicate was the least liked corporation, but the most successful, which made it harder to find friends and keep them.

Hunter was more then happy to be alone with Natalie, the girl had really smitten him. "Oh, a gentleman, your too kind my lady." He heard her opinion on her friend not showing, she sounded a little too relaxed. "Pick a booth my dear."

"Hmm.." She looked round, and picked one closer to the bar, she was eager for a drink by this point, whiskey, rum, or vodka. Sitting down, she relaxed back into the chair, closing her eyes. "Ahh, don't you just feel like you belong here sometimes? No..? Just me?" She opened an eye and smirked.

"Depends, if you're here with me, well then this is the only place I belong." He smiled at her and ordered two shots of vodka, his favorite. The flirt was risky, but this girl was risky enough, he still didn't know why she had been at the fire or why Virgil followed her. This was all too fishy, but beauty blinded Hunter for he then sat down next to her.

Feitan appeared in the corner of the Bar, though he was most likely unseen before he was definitely seen now if any of the bars occupants looked towards his location, he was really good at concealing himself, even in places with good lighting. Dawning his normal, long black trench coat with custom made hood on it that covered his head and shadowed his eyes so he had nothing to worry about, as his eyes had a tendency to scare people off, or make them feel really uncomfortable. Sitting on the table in-front of him was a medium sized bag that contained something very important to him, something you could say was his lifeline, he needed it to live his life, without it he may as well be dead. Feitan peered inside his bag before quickly closing it, taking a sip from his glass that could appear to be alcohol, though it was just Iced tea something he could live off of.

Sitting there, drinking his drink he watched the other patrons in the bar, if any were to look at him he'd give them a smile, waiting for the girl of which he met last night to notice him, he looked a little less scary in the light though his eyes still didn't help his case any.

Her eyes widened and she sat straight, a soft blush spread across her cheeks. She shrugged it off with a loud laugh and wiped her tears. "That is adorable!" She glanced round at the bar, still chuckling gently, noticing the boy from last night and shooting him a smile before turning back to Sly.

Calming herself, Natalie smiled, "Vodka? How did you know? Are you..." She leaned forward and lowered her voice, playing her usual smirk, "Phsycic...?"

"Mmm, you know my tricks then, go ahead think of something you like about me." Hunter took her hand. "The hand will help me read you better", this of course a lie. He needed contact with this girl, she was warm to him, pretty hard to find when you work for a not so lucrative business. During his flirting he spotted Feitan, a comrade to him, he was our "gun" or at least what we called him. Hunter shot him a glance, not a worried glance, but one of keep your eyes peeled.

"Hmmmm.." She looked up, thinking as she rubbed his hand gently. Gentleman, she thought, this guy is a gentleman, might be a bit of a flirtacious devil, but he was nice. "Done, thought it." She smirked and rested her other hand on her chin, "Go on, tell me."

Convel looked up to notice the woman wake up as he raised his hand and tossed her his phone with all his info he had kn her except her real name "for a ruby syndicate you let your gaurd down...even on your home turf" he said as a toy car with a tray with a tea set and snake rideing in the middle if the tray next to the rea pot while he pushed on the sticks of a remote control for the car "tea?" convel asked as he served himself some

He studied her eyes, "You are, without a doubt in my mind, thinking that I am the greatest man you have ever met on the street." He brought up her hand and kissed it lightly, then held it, rubbing it lightly. With his free hand he took his shot in one gulp, without any falter from the liquor he said, "They say my psychic abilities rub off on those close to me, see if you can read my mind."

Chase watched as Hunter went to flirt with the redheaded girl thinking, 'Aw too bad....' He shrugged and acted as if he was going to walk to the bar anyway but waited around as corner until he saw them and followed a ways behind them. When they finally reached the bar he stood outside for a while until he went into a store, grabbed a hoodie and walked to the coworker in the back. "Hey, you know me, right?" he asked silently as he sat down next to him and met Hunter's eye.

Hunter wasn't to pleased to have two of his comrades watch him flirt with a girl, an apparently dangerous one at that, but he met Chase's eyes. He was beginning a conversation with Feitan, with one last look at Chase flashing his phone from his pocket. Hopefully understand just to keep in the loop, for he wasn't leaving this girl anytime soon.

She smirked, "Wow, just reading my mind so well there sport.." Blushing again as he kissed her hand, "Okay...lemme see...think now." Natalie took her shot and downed it also, keeping her eyes on him all the while.

She tried not to get distracted by the new man entering the bar.

His main was about getting some more vodka, but he knew that wouldn't do. He thought about how her lips matched her red hair, and how a night with her, not doing what you think, but just some time alone with her would be amazing. The last thing dwelling on his mind was Virgil, but that was slowly getting pushed out of his mind. "Mm, done. So what was I thinking?"

Virgil was on his way down the street now he was deep in the phone going through many files and text messages who's ever this phone was a Ruby Syndicate finding names files and contact information. He came across Natalie's not piecing it together at first for he was just lazily riding down the road in what he made look to be his phone on how he was going through it. There were text messages the most recent telling the person there was a meeting at the bar for fellow Syndicates. Virgil then pieces everything together shooting a text to Sly. 'That girl you're with is in fact a R.S. keep close to her and play as a friend you may get something out of it. Text me your location I'll come as soon as I can." He'd then send messages to Chase and Feitan. 'We have a confirmed R.S.' He'd continue to search through the phone as he waited for the location for pictures and other such files.

"Hmmmm..." She wondered, "You... Were thinking about how amazing I am, and how beautiful I am of course." Natalie smirked and giggled, "Okay, so I maybe can't read minds, but I can hold my drink like a sailor can, swear like one too sometimes."

Nat was actually having fun, for the first time in a long time. She thought about how this must be for normal people, going on dates, meeting new people, she was sick of the Syndicate...and if her previous suicide attempts didn't prove that then she may as well try again.

For now, she felt content, she hadn't laughed for a long time and having good company was God sent.

"Well you must be psychic also, you stole the words right out of my thoughts, for you are beautiful and quite amazing." His ringer went off as Hunter read the message casually, this was a perfect opportunity, but he felt awkward about trying to get information out of her. Then it hit him, he can help his company and get his way. What a better way to get information then by making her mine, I can maybe even make her my partner. Hunter smiled and looked into her eyes, "So you like drinking a little heavy? And if sailors looked like you, I would be the first person on those ships." He held her hand tight and ordered another round.

"Amazing...? You..think I'm amazing." She smiled, looking down and shook her head. When she looked up again, her eyes met his as he made the joke about the sailors looking like her. "Wow, you really are a charmer, huh?" Despite this, she didn't mind it, it was actually flattering.

Chase's work phone vibrated in his pocket at the same time as Feitan's. He read the text quickly before looking up at the girl that Hunter was still flirting with. "Think she's the one he's talking about?" he asked silently before ordering a scotch for himself.

Virgil would be skating down the road still waiting for their location he'd decide to just stop as he saw a group of younger teens skating around near a gas station. He took the opportunity to have a little fun skating around with the kids showing them some tricks, pulling a boneless out of nowhere he was instantly flooded with questions. "How long have you been skating?" said one kid then another asked. "How did you learn to boneless?" Virgil only grinned at them before going inside the gas station looking for a blueberry lemonade brisk.

"Amazing is a modest way to put it." Hunter smiled at the compliment. "Me a charmer, pshhh I could never charm a woman, especially none as beautiful as you." He let go of her hand to brush the hair behind his ear, he sent a text to Virgil, "The bar near the burning apartment, meet Feitan and Chase in back, Chase will have the plans." and next one to Chase, "Its hard to say, but romeo and Juliet is a pretty good example for my predicament. Ill get some information out, but if things go south prepare to interrogate her. This could take awhile, Virgil knows some more info on other contacts, go see what you can find about them and give me more info on her. He will be arriving shortly. This was all from inside his pocket, where he made it look as though he was fiddling for his watch. He attached it to his wrist and looked back at the girl, "Do you really think I am charming?"

Chase read the text from Hunter and nodded slightly and sat back as if relaxing and drinking his drink. Though he smirked at the Romeo and Juliet reference his mind went straight to work as he thought about the rest of the text. He wondered how Virgil knew anything most of all. 'Can't things be simple for once in the crime business?' Chase thought with a sigh.

She glanced at his watch, "Yes! You've been a gentleman to me too, most guys aren't like that. They see the chest and the ass and that's it... It's..nice to meet someone different." Sitting back in her chair, she relaxed into it. She was meant to meeting the other Syndicate members at their usual bar, but she guessed they wouldn't miss her for one day. Afterall, Natalie was just one woman, there were plenty other members who were more than capable.

Virgil came outside the shop taking a long drink of his brisk before deciding to check his phone. He'd bring his hand down into his pocket feeling both the phones pulling them up taking a glance at them before grabbing reading the texts. He'd push out his board with his foot as he started to go towards the bar they spoke of picking up speed putting his phone away putting his headphones back in going towards where he had just run from taking a longer detour just in case the law was still lingering around, weaving in and out of people on his way there. He'd eventually make it there shortly as he wasn't more then ten blocks away, he'd look at the bar taking his phone out snapping a picture sending a mass text to Chase, Hunter, and Fetian. Showing them he was here he'd then go to the side of the bar sitting on his skateboard going through his own phone taking a sip of his brisk.
