Realistic or Modern Deception and Perception

"You are too sweet for your own good Hunter, how the hell did you ever end up in a business like this and not with a wife and kids?" She smiled softly, and genuinely wondered. How was such a nice guy like him in a business like this? Natalie wondered why he thought the world of her, she was cold, practically dead inside, she had killed, seduced, murdered and lied to so many people, yet he was captivated by her like a young teenager.

"I could ask the same with you, but I was recruited. I wasn't given a chance for wife and kids, let alone any kind of relationships." Hunter sighed, "I guess all I have been doing is partying, gather information, sleep, and repeat. Never actually thinking of what I am missing in life.".

"Hm, I guess I was the same. Since I was homeless, I snatched it up in an instant, I could do what I did for a living and get paid than just doing it to get by." Her eyes drifted off, smiling sadly, thinking about her dream white-picket fenced home, kids in the front yard, dog running with them.

Virgil would sit upwards crossing his legs so he's sitting criss-cross apple sauce. Pulling out his own phone shooting a text to his fellow members. 'I would like you all to join me at the garage. Hunter bring your dear friend as well.' He'd put his phone back in his pocket after sending out the mass text scratching his head silently waiting for Joel to come too.

Hunter checked his phone, "Hey Natalie, where do the Syndicate regularly meet up? My higher up is begging for the info." Hunter sighed as it vibrated again, "And now they want us to see Joel. See if we can get more info out, I would rather not go if its all the same to you.". He knew going against Virgil wasn't smart, but taking Natalie might just lead to her wanting to trade sides again.

'Damn,' Chase thought as he got the text and packed up his disguise into a backpack and dressed up to look more like a college student so the backpack didn't make him stick out.

"Our bar, any bar really." She shrugged, "There won't be enough of us there, so they'd probably get drunk. "What has he done to Joel? I mean..I..I know he'll have..hurted him but, he won't kill him, right?"

He relayed it to Chase, "No exact bar is said by her.". He then looked at her, "Virgil is a softie, he won't kill Joel unless his life is in stake." This was a lie, but Hunter couldn't bare to tell her. "We don't have to go sweetheart, he won't need us for interrogation.. I hope." Hunter realized how easy it was to lose her, he treaded lightly.

"Well we can't hide in here for the rest of our time, can we?" She sighed, "Look, let's just go, get it over with...Even swing by the fancy dress shop down the street and get me a wig." Natalie shrugged, she had worn plenty of wigs in her time, but she figured going to her apartment for one was too risky.

"Sure, just let me go change. Got to look nice for interrogations." Hunter went to his room, changed into khaki pants, a white undershirt, and a unbuttoned shirt. "Alright lets go get you a nice dress and a wig, maybe some accessories," He pondered for a moment, "When is the last time you went shopping, just for fun?" With this he grabbed his wallet and shades.

"God knows, I've been wearing the same clothes for years, even learned to sew and stitch and everything." She chuckled, standing and stretching, "Don't I look like an adorable little hobo who only has money for drink."

Once Chase got the text he stopped before leaving his apartment and quickly changed again. He knew he shouldn't ignore Virgil or do what he was planning without backup but he knew he might not have another chance. Chase left his apartment and headed to a bar near the Syndicate building almost a half an hour later looking like a beat up Sylvia. He was going to go as Natalie but Sylvia had a style more like his own. 'Its amazing I look so good as a woman,' Chase thought with an annoyed tone.

"So adorable I might just give you a dollar instead of change." Hunter laughed and opened a drawer, inside was his taser and a pistol. He put the taser in his pocket, it was about as big as a pack of smokes. The gun on the other hand was Colt M1911, a classic that Hunter adored, he stuck this in his pants barrel down aimed somewhere a little unruly. The safety was on and Hunter didn't mind showing the gun, he felt like a badass. The last thing he did was put on a fake badge on his right peck, out of sight with shirt he had unbuttoned. He turned to face Natalie, he put on his shades and struck a serious pose, "Damn, if being sexy was a crime you would be the first to get arrested." He flashed his badge.

Watching him 'dress up' made her smirk, so she played along. "Oh officer, don't tease me! I'm too innocent!" She placed a hand on her palm, trying to be dramatic as she looked away. "I'm too gentle to go to jail, please!"

"Oh, but ma'am this is my duty," He walked over and put his hands on his hip, holding back his laugh, "It would take an awful lot of convincing, if you know what I mean.". At this Hunter put his hands on her hip pulling her close.

She kept looking away, "I have a husband and kids! Don't harm a poor young lady like me, I beg of you sir..!" She gasped and whispered, squeezing her eyes shut.

Natalie missed acting. even if it was stupid.

"Oh you have a husband, well I have a reassignment test, looks like we are both going to cheat today." Hunter wrapped his hands behind her, practically body to body with her. "Come on, let me show you that this Colt ain't the only gun I have.". Hunter was on the verge of laughing, he couldn't last much longer. ((Cheesy jokes for Phantom xD ))

Sylvia looked away as she kicked a window breaking it making glass fly out. Before her captor could react she jumped out the window and made a run for it almost catching the baggy pants she had stolen from the kidnapper's closet. Aside from the pants that looked too big for her and was only held up by a brown belt she also was wearing a loose t-shirt, a forest green hat, and was at the moment barefoot. After running in zigzags down pathways that were downtown where some of them were alleyways Sylvia breathed heavily as she hid behind a building trying to calm herself. She looked around making sure that no one followed her. Once she was sure that she was safe she took out a phone that she had stolen from Convel before making her escape. She first looked through the most recent message saying, "Dear Convel, make sure that your weapons are polished, there seems to be a battle between the Syndicate and Zeppelin, find out what is going on and report back with details. We cannot allow them to continue causing havoc, ruining business."

After getting out of that message she started to dial the number to the Ruby Syndicate headquarters. "Shit, I'm gone for only a couple of days and a war comes up," she said as she waited for someone to pick up. Once someone did she hastily responded, "Hello, this is Sylvia I am calling to inform you that I am alive and I am ready for action. A member of the Articulate captured me obviously I have escaped but that is the least of our problems. I will meet up with everyone at our usual bar soon, I'm on my way and I will explain everything then." ((That's right Sylvia is back baby! And she is pissed lol))

Natalie smirked, also trying not to laugh. "Officer!..Please don't..please don't shoot me with your big..smooth...gun!" Then she lost it, she burst out laughing so hard that she eventually had tears in her eyes, stomach cramping.

Joel opened his eyes a little before closing them again "Morning babe." he said with a smirk, raising his head and shaking it "I feel like shit..." his body responding by throbbing painfully causing Joel to groan in discomfort - it wouldn't be long until all the pain registered again though. Seeing as there was nothing else he could do Joel began to make small talk "So, you just came here to interrogate me?" his voice groggy and strained from the position but he was appreciating the break from most of the pain.

Hunter released her and began laughing, he fell back on the couch and slowly regained his composure. "I've had a lot of practice wearing the uniform, comes naturally by now." He got up and smiled at her, "Ready? The dress shop is right down the street, and you know I think there's a Victoria secrets nearby also." Hunter threw her a wink as he opened the door, picking up his wallet on the nightstand.

Chuckling as she wiped her tears, she nodded. "Hm, we can pick up some bra's for you then huh?" Natalie smirked, walking out the door and flicking her hair just before she disappeared.

Chase walked into the bar with his hood up, obviously he didn't want to get any attention as some beat up looking girl. He looked around the bar to see if he saw anyone he might recognize from the people on Sylvia's phone.

"Whatever you say sweetheart." Hunter swiftly followed behind her, straightening his shirt to hide the badge. He moved a little faster to catch up with her, then slipped her hand in his. "Lead the way.".

As she walked confidently out, playing with his hand as she went, she looked round. They approached the shop, and she let go of his hand, rushing inside, immediately going to the wig section and gushing over all the different colours.
