Daydawn Battle Academy

Melody walked along the corridors, still dodging a few students who had yet to either find their room or wanted to take a look around like her. She examined her map as she walked, pursing her lips in thought as she tried her best to follow along the path back out to the opening area. The only problem was that her map was small in comparison to the ones the school provided, and the school itself was like some kind of giant maze. As she squinted down at the paper, she could hear a familiar voice booming from an unknown source, just before a loud and unexpected bang, causing her to jump and drop the brochure.

Mel shook her head, kneeling down to pick up her map. Back at home, she would certainly go investigate. However, back then she could fight off a normal person just fine, but here she was surrounded by others much stronger than her; she just couldn't risk it! Instead, she turned and went back the way she came and continued along. She eventually found herself in a familiar hallway. Melody recognized it from when she was first heading to her dorm, and decided to follow the room numbers after verifying with her map, often passing by a few other students.

Kenta laughed a bit. "I can't tell if you're mocking the size, the style, or both." He admitted. It only made the phrase funnier to him.

He then returned from the histerical part of himself, and arrived back to his more understanding and self-aware self. He turned the map slightly counterclockwise to get another point of view on the large paper. He did this in success, being able to distinguish some of the buildings he saw on the real-world plane.

And so be began to mumble it out. He gone about how the cafeteria was relatively lengthy from the dorms compared to the other buildings they might go to, and that, out of those buildings, the 'teaching buildings' were the closest. He also stated that if they were to go to all of these buildings in a single day, it would tire them out due to the grueling distance they had to walk. He did this all making odd, trancified gestures. "This academy is so big, so I'm guessing there is a whole lot of students from each and every age allowed to be here."

Cross listened as he marked out which buildings were which from Kenta's mumblings

"Well, D.Traits don't exactly distinguish between ages. They reveal themselves whenever."

As for getting tired by walking to all of them . . . Well, Cross would reserve judgement on that until he had actually tried. A small growl escaped his torso, reminding him of the initial goal

"Distance aside, I think a certain pair of fellows will begin to get rather irritable if we don't head there."

Kenta sighed and rolled up the map. "Alright then. To the cafeteria it is..." Kenta was a bit afraid of the distance they had to walk. But hunger was hunger, and he decided it was worth the effort to go there and return to prepare for orientation.

Kenta began walking with Cross again, this time to where he knew the cafeteria was. As he had mumbled out several seconds before, the distance was huge to cover. At his moderate walking speed, it took nearly seven minutes to get there with nearly no interruptions. Though, it looked like there were much more people who were hungry and longing for the food that the cafeteria provided.

The cafeteria, of course, was large, and it looked almost the same inside as all of the other buildings. It was jam packed with students, also like Kenta said, from plenty of age groups. The massiveness was organized, however, by the staff that supervised the cafeteria. He would never imagine this at his regular school.

If you all are still here/active/interested, I'd like to skip further into the roleplay, since I predict that this is just going to stay at the point where we won't get to the basis of what the RP is about.

((weirdbraxto, I know what you mean, and I won't blame you or anyone for that. Noone's really ignoring you. If I could get my character to interact with your character, I would, but I'm trying my best to keep his actions within logic, meaning I try not to force my character onto every single other character that hasn't exactly been with everyone else. I believe, atleast, that the same goes for everyone else. If his actions have been ignored, though, then it might just be a simple overlooking since they may not read everything that is posted on the thread.

Nothing that can't be fixed. ō vō b))

@C h a t N o i r

Alright I see, well my problem if I decide to join in if you do this time jump is I've had no character development, no relationship with other characters, and not to be lazy but I don't want to read over 13 pages of info to catch up.

If your problem is that you don't have anyone to interact with/nothing to do, then my character is always open for that. It goes for everyone else, too.

I am definitely still interested in this role play, and wouldn't mind a time skip at all. In fact, I think it might open a few doors for people who are stuck, like Braxto and I.

Ok thank you but I still have the problem of not having any character development that I could only get early on in the RP which I was not here for.

(( But didn't you post on the first page? Oh well, that doesn't really matter. Anyway, maybe you can describe your feelings about the new school year and/or about the new students while you take a walk? It's your call, but i'm just making a suggestion. ))

((You don't exactly need any initial character development. Character development can occur at any place, any time, meaning you can have your character make his debut at the beginning of the time shift.))

((Possibly to the orientation, or after the orientation, or the first day.

I don't want to clutter this thread in OOC. Any questions/ discussions, move them to the character sheet/info/OOC thread...))

((Okay.))

It was the first real day of school, and students were scattered almost everywhere around the school campus. Breakfast was compromised so that students were given the chance to find their first class if they didn't in the past. Schedules were given either from when students first arrived, or currently if it wasn't picked up before. Several other students didn't even wake up yet.

Kenta was one of these kids. He woke up slightly late, about twenty minutes after he had planned to wake up; 7:00. Now it was 7:20, nearly 10 minutes before the students needed to report to their homeroom. Kenta stood up on his matress groggily. He didn't feel like moving his body all that much, since he didn't sleep that well. The people in the room next to him were arguing to a late time, so he didn't get much sleep.

He had to move anyway. He stood up and turned himself so his feet were off of the bed. He hopped off to gather his bathroom necessities, then headed off towards the bathroom to get ready for the day.

Cross was already awake, clean, dressed, and out the door to his class with plenty of time to spare. It had been quite some time since he had any commitments, but his uncle had always taught him to be up as the sun rose. He opened the door to homeroom, walking in quietly without attracting much attention from the few students inside. He wasn't quite ready to talk to so many at once.

Ferris had gotten up at 5:15 that morning out of pure habit. After washing up and getting dressed in an outfit that nearly took an hour to decide upon, she then sat on her bed, fixing her hair into one long braid. Her roommate was still asleep when she left the dorm at 6:40 to get her breakfast and maybe wander around a little. Now, since it was almost time for the first bell to ring, she headed over to her homeroom.

As she expected, there were only a handful of students in the class, and she tried her best not to disturb them as she entered. Of course, it was hard to open and close the door in a quiet manor with her advanced strength, but she barely managed it.

(Let's give this another shot)

Nicko sprung up at the sound of the alarm clock, just like he did every day when that evil machine sang it's song. He pounded on the top of it to shut off the noise and saw that it was 7:00, he had to hurry or he would be late. He ran to the closet and got a new pair of jeans and t-shirt on and quickly threw his head under the shower to get his hair right. Once he was all finished he realized that he had absolutely no idea what to bring to class so he did what ever teacher in existence would say 'bring a pencil', so he found the nearest pencil and stowed it in his front left pocket. Looking back at the time it was 7:10 and he almost instantly was out the door. He wasn't too far away from the school so he just walked and within a few minutes he arrived, seeing other students on their way to homeroom as well. I walked inside the classroom, seeing other sitting down about the same time which showed that he wasn't late, he let out a soft sigh of relief. Nicko was quick to find a seat, it was next to one of the people who just walked in too, some chick that seemed to be a bit timid like she was concealing something, then I saw the marks on her desk that she had made or the indents in the door, she must be strong.

"Hey you, names Nicko, what's good?"
