Canonically, the Ironborn in their prime were only stopped because of Aegon the Conquerer. It took a fucking dragon to stop them at their peak. Granted it's also been proven many times that Ironborn suck at land wars

I believe in the books they have serious problems with the Reeds and the crannogmen, to the point I believe Theon or Baelor had to wear plate armor to protect themselves from poison arrows.

yeah, i run folks through the rules, make sure they aren’t breaking props, give hints, and reset the rooms after game. it’s an incredible change of pace after most of my other customer service jobs—everyone wants to be here lol

That sounds cool, always wanted to do an escape room. The only thing close was probably a haunted house, but that's still pretty different.

I get the customer service thing though, some people are just too much sometimes...

my personal favorite were the guys who bought suvs with race car brakes to haul their kids around in and then got mad bc their race car brakes behaved as intended, ie, were loud as hell.

so in their defense the ceramic race car brakes are INCREDIBLY loud, however this is because of the physics involved in stopping a multiton vehicle that can hit 200+ mph. this is made worse when the car never actually goes faster than like 25mph and is generally in stop and start traffic

we got that call roughly once a month. some people came back repeatedly for their breaks being loud despite repeatedly being told this, because “performance” must mean “better” and not “designed to be raced”

i’m still not sure why anyone thought putting those brakes in an suv was a good idea in the first place

Good morning! And quite jealous, only ever one one escape room but they seem a lot of fun! The car dealership less so, you'd think people would expect something race-y to be loud. - a very valid rant to have.

Just finishing Nym and trying to work out where I want my second character to be from/associated.
