Yo DoomyGloom DoomyGloom that's cool as fuck. I read it twice because of how badass it was.

Though, yeah, when it comes to actual combat, we're going to have to be very careful. We'll probably have to be sneaking around a lot to accomplish things, or just avoiding it entirely.

Also Grimsvald Grimsvald do we start with our starting equipment AND our (rolled) starting gold? If so, Cade'll have 60 more GP.
 
Yes, I am house ruling both gold options. Players have deep pockets in this game. It will be needed later.

Also, I guess combat goes a little smoother when wizards have spell lists.

Havent read your short story But I will try to after work.

Three very untraditional half-orcs. A wizard. A rogue. A bard.
The wizard wants to achieve some kind of order and is willing to use chaotic means to achieve it. Not unlike the original wizard Shaldra~Zin.
The rogue wanted a taste of the city-life but finds it is more boring than expected. Despite wanting new and interesting things to happen in life, he lives unassuming in the slums, discontented.
The bard earns his living as an musical entertainer, always a surprising sight to see due to his orcish appearance.

"Another is a shadow, a student, and a slave."

The wizard mentored under his adoptive mother.
The rogue stays in the shadows.
The bard is chained to a demoness.

"They are marked by:
The lifeless mother - an maddenninng embodimennt of destructionn.
The charming old woman - a two-formed beautiful slaver who cannot be escaped.
and a defection from savagery."

The wizard's adoptive mother is a powerful wizard herself, not entirely human, and of a greatly dangerous nature.
The rogue defected from his tribe to start his own life in the city.
The bard is enslaved by a demoness who won't let him get away so easily.

"The two Cs and a B coverage in a born-as-ash City of a dead mage! Two reside there. one fled there,"

They will meet in Shaldra~Zin. Calvin, who came to the city from Gorn. Cade, who strayed from tribal lands. Brazensong, who has resided there for a while now with the company of a demoness.

Will they become legends? Or will they die trying? Probably the latter.

 
Did you take the charming old woman from my part of the story, if so, very clever.

The Shaldra~Zin temple to Illmater is found at the northern most point of the city. The penitent temple of Illmater. A humble sanctuary built of cheap stone and unrefined wood. All dyed white, not to seem more lavish than it is, but to mirror the purity of their god. The floor of the temple is made from unevenly laid wood that is uncomfortable beneath bare feet of its priests and patrons. Piety and martyrdom rule with an iron fist between these walls. The only escape from that rule is the entrance that lays in its southern wall. At both sides of its entrance stand white pillars that fade into an image of bound arms clasped at the top of the archway. Thick red rope wraps these hands together and drapes around the pillars, ending in heavy coiled piles at the top of the stairs. From this entrance you can look down on all of Shaldra~Zin. A city re-named after its most famous priest of Illmater. He was a martyr who ended the greatest war these lands had ever seen....although the way he did so may be obscured by the gilded hand of legend and truly understood only by the devout. The temple in its entirety resembles a squared Aztec temple in white. Every level of the temple is seperated into three rooms. The main and two long side rooms. The upper half is used for prayer. The lower half is used for living and the basement is their treasury.

These clans are based off of an old African, Astrailian and Native American aesthetic. This is not the place to find plate mail, but you will find iron weapons. Common races are half orc, elf, gnomes. Common classes are Barbarian, druid, cleric, ranger, sorcerer. Bones are a common item in clothing or decor and some of the best spiritual enchanters in the nation can be found in tribes. A wonderful custom that only exists among the tribes is marks of passage. Apon conpleting rites of passage or great feats of legend enchanters of the tribe may tattoo a spell onto your flesh giving you power.

If you want something more specific we can work together to develop your clan.
 
Greenstalker Greenstalker Sure we have some room. Beyond sheet should be fine. If I have trouble loading the character sheet I will let you know. We are doing level 1. 27 point buy for stats. Need a background and trinket. I allow the gold given from your background as well as class rolled gold.
 
I already have a character in mind just need to tweak his background a bit to fit the game. Where should I roll for trinket and where to post character?
 
You can post your character here. Roll for trinkets on the d100 chart in the players handbook or the curse of strahd varient roll table.

APPEARANCE
Keaxusha has yellow fur covered with small black dots like a cheetah. He has heterochromia eyes right one being a light blue while left one being a dark green. He does not have any visible wounds thanks to his fur but in fact his body covered with lots of scratches. He is really tall but being slender and staying mostly in a low stance he does not show his full height. He has a tiger eye crystal on his left hand embedded to his fingerless glove which he uses as an arcane focus. He wears a leather armor so he won't be restricted on his moves. He carries two daggers on his thighs and one more on his waist. A light crossbow dangles from sid of his belt and he has bolts in pockets of his forearms. He carries a backpack pretty much contains anything else and his coin pouch is tied to his neck inside his armor. He does not wear any boot but other than that his clothes are similar to common travelers.

BACKSTORY
Keaxusha born in a tabaxi tribe at savannah which was neighbors with buth human and elven communities and they were sometimes trading with both but mostly self-sufficient tribe.

Tribe leader was said to be a descendant of Talicid the golden lion and he was leader of tribe almost a century now with no sign of losing his physical might. Lionar the tribe leader saw something special in Keaxusha a cheetah tabaxi and decided to teach him both warrior and shaman ways of tribe.

Windstalker tribe had a secret martial arts passed down on generations in leaders family but Lionar deemed Keaxusha worthy to learn it. Cats claw style was relied on a cats own potential. Talicid was also known to favor swords so the style teaches basic use of swords however specialized training was something Keaxusha never manage to complete. Instead Keaxusha was more interested in shaman training. Little did Keaxusha knew Talicid had other plans for him.

As he completed his basic understanding training with both martial and shaman training at age 14 Keaxusha had a dream where Talicid appeared and started to talk in celestial teaching Keaxusha the divine language while teaching him some cantrips. Keaxusha's training paid off and he became shaman apprentice and for 4 years Talicid time to time appear in his dreams and thought more to him.

At age 18 Keaxusha's tribe suffered a disaster. One of closeby elven community finally drove an orc clan away from their lands for good. However said orc clan escaped through Savannah since they realized they had no chance against elves in forest. The orc clan arrived at Windstalker tribes lands and started to rampage in anger taking their frustration from tabaxi tribe. Luckily Windstalkers were good warriors and with help of their shamans they manage to escape with their lives there was not much death count. During this encounter Keaxusha's most of power awakened as he rained eldritch blasts with holy light attributes over orcs. However orcs were outnumbering them 1 to 20 and soon they overrun the land and ransacked food and valuables.

It took two year for tabaxi tribe to rebuilt their land. They got help from elven community which originally drove orcs away and during this time Keaxusha learned elven language, culture and etiquette. At age 20 Talicid appears again he didn't appear after orc attack at all and in celestial he told Keaxusa 'Journey', 'Discover', 'Learn', 'Observe', 'Improvise', 'Honor', Respect', 'Revenge'. After this dream Keaxusha interpret it as Talicid telling him to travel around world discovering and learning things, observing situations and improvising solutions while keeping honor and respect at its utmost degree to finally take revenge from orcs.

Keaxusha left tribe for becoming stronger first heading to elven community but he quickly realized elves were not quiet welcoming folks towards other races even one that they helped. He didn't stay there long he was more interested in human lands anyway so for a year he traveled human lands helping whoever he can on the road. His travels brought him towards Shaldra-Zin where he found an Inn and rented a room for a couple of days.

here is character sheet i don't know how much of it visible though since they literally updated it friday. For trinket I rolled 43 on phb a silver tiny bell without clapper. Also can someone remind me how we roll on-site i kinda forgot how.It seems all flavor are missing from my character sheet so copy pasting them here as well.

Well i don't get much spell choices so i will try to keep at least one support spell for each level but i really decide depending on how campaign progress. however ı have some interesting build ideas for this character which I will eventually multiclass as either monk or fighter so my spell selection will be based on that as well. I will most probably go with pact of blade in either case.

and what makes you think monk won't be meat shield? :Palso a hlaf-orc asking a cat to become a meat shield now i think there is some joke that is lost in space :P
For starting equipment i rolled a 11 from 4d4 (it was character sheets randomize function) so i can get both starting equipments (from backgound and class including 10 gold) and this gold is that correct?

Never seen someone play the celestial pack or that tabaxi race so I am excited to see them in action.
 
I've been trying to play a half-orc rogue for a while, DoomyGloom DoomyGloom , so when I saw you wanted to try a half-orc wizard I saw it as the perfect oppurtunity!

Also, get a move on and write up your post. :P
