She carefully took some of the items from him and gently picked up the crystal ball that he had put back on the shelf only moments ago, bringing it back to his desk while she balanced some of the items in her free hand. "I'm going to guess... So that we can see where we are sending the parcel?" She asked over her shoulder as she put the items down.

"Exactly," Alfons said with a mischievous smile. He set out the bowl he had used for the last spell. "But this is going to combine two spells. Something that can get somewhat difficult. Luckily, both spells use bird elements, but the difficult part comes when you try to ground yourself. One requires the earth itself, but the other requires a specific point. How do we pick point which we use?" Alfons looked to Delilah to see if she could come up with an answer. She was doing surprisingly well for a beginner. It was obvious she had potential in the area.

Returning to the seat at the corner of his desk, she continued to observe his every move with childlike interest. His next question made her brow crease in thought as her eyes glanced over everything that was set out on the table. "A specific ground point...?" She seemed to be slightly confused, lifting her gaze to him in a questioning manner with her mouth set into an awkward smile. "Mind elaborating on that, Al?"

Alfons smiled at Delilah. "In order to teleport an item or even yourself, you must have some sort of connection to that place. Whether it be your thoughts or another item, there must be a connection. Here, you set up the scrying spell we were using before," he said, doing so, reusing the items he used before save for the blood. "And say the incantation. What happens next? You use the scrying spell but there are no teleportation since your meaning is only to scry. The answer is to add the teleportation spell to the base of the scry, because you've already made a connection to the place you're scrying to."

Her eyes seemed to light up as the puzzles in her head pieced themself together. Nodding, she pushed off her seat to start setting up the Scrying spell, trying to remember how each ingredient was set up. Earth bound ingredient under...she placed the lizard tail feather over to give us farther sight she placed the feather on the tail an eye to give us sight she rather tentatively picked up the eyeball, was about to place it on the balanced pile but decided against it blood for sacrifice... Also for a nice glue she poured a little blood onto the pile before plopping the eyeball gently on top before turning to Alfons for his approval.

Alfons gave Delilah a smile of his approval. "Well done," he murmured. "As for the teleportation spell, do you think we should add the ingredients for it on top of the scrying spell or set up another bowl?" Alfons wouldn't blame her if she got it wrong, since it was a trick question. To some, it may seem unfair to test a student without them already knowing the material, but in reality he was just testing her aptitude for it. If he were a teacher, he would have been smart enough than to let this affect her 'grade'.

The grin that had appeared on her face at his approval melted away as she once again, frowned slightly at the question. Putting the teleportation spell directly on top of the scrying spell might've mess up both spells. Putting them separately meant there was no connection between the spells. Her gaze drifted to the crystal ball in which the image from the scrying spell appeared. "Does the placement of the teleportation spell maybe have to do with the crystal ball instead of the actualy scrying spell?" She asked, her gaze lifting to him in an even more questioning look.

Alfons blinked in surprise. So she knew that they shouldn't use either options? Perhaps she was even more apt for this that he thought. "Very good," Alfons said. "But... In order to combine the two spells, we have to do some mixing and matching. So we have to use our logic in order to mix the ingredients to fully express what we want. That's the reason why knowing the reasoning behind the elements is so important."

To preveng any mishaps or disaster caused by different factors reacting to each other in a way we never intended... Delilah thought to herself, yet her mind was thinking more of his words and the expression on his face. She couldn't help smile a bit... She really did like it when ever he complimented her in any way.

"So... How do we mix and match to combine the two ingredients?" She asked, tilting her head towards the desk yet her eyes remained on him, ever watchful with something sparkling in the depths of her gold eyes. Admiration?

With her looking at him like that, Alfons couldn't help but feel somehow warm... Trying to brush those feelings aside and focus on the spell, he turned his eyes away to look at the bowl which contained the assortment of items. "Like I was saying before, it will be somewhat easier with them both relying on sky creatures. The only thing in our way is..." he muttered, taking out a notebook, "the grounding. So how shall we remedy that? The lizard is keeping us to the earth. Should we replace it?"

Delilah chewed on her bottom lip for a second or two, contemplating the question. "If we replace... It would be a flying creature to make the two spells a lot easier to combine... But would that mean that we will lose the connection or the link to the earth?" Her gaze returned to him as she furrowed her brow slightly at the problem before them.

"Yes. We don't want to replace the link to the earth because then we wouldn't be able to send our item there. Keep going," Alfons encouraged. She was doing very well so far. Alfons wouldn't blame her if she got stuck on this one.

@NekoQueen

"If ..." Her words trailed off as she stared at something on the wall, deep in thought, " if we can't lose our link to the earth...but we need the link to the sky... Should we choose from an animal that belongs to both the earth and the sky equally?" She looked back at him for his confirmation. This sure was difficult... But it was fun... Most probably because he was the one who was teaching her.

Misery continued to walk down the street his cloak at home but his mask was still on. "I'm lonely..." Misery said sadly as he walked into the park.

"...do we... Combine the dragon and the lizard somehow?" Her words were soft as if she was very unsure about whether she made sense or not. Her gaze lifted to him with a hint of confusion and her lips were set in a smile that was more like a pout "hint please, Al?"

Alfons couldn't help the small, amused laugh that escaped him. He couldn't help it, she just looked so cute. He reached for her head and petted her soft hair gently. "Think of the defining point. The lizard encompasses the whole world, but we need only one point. How do we show that?"

@Dominaiscna

Michael Michaelis

"Oh...? Have I mistaken..? It seems my demonic instinct have fallen slightly. My swords have surely sensed your surge of power." Michael smiled at Axolius, still seated on the tree.

"Might I ask, what exactly are you?"
His gaze bore directly at him. He was much curious to know the nature of this persona. He was enticed; enticed by the supernatural power which radiated from him...

I chased after him, not knowing why other than the fact that he was among one of the more "friendly" magic users i had met. "Hey! Wait up!" I yelled as i exited out of my hawk form, returning to the tall blonde-haired form i had used earlier

I turned to see the blonde girl from earlier. "Oh hey. What's up?" I ask

"I just sorta thought... We could hang out or something? I don't really know any other magic users..." I mumble a bit embarrassed at asking this of pretty much a complete stranger

"Magic user? I don't use magic. I use magic equipment not actual magic." I smile anyway. "There's a nice coffee shop down the street."

"I have nothing to do, i-if you want to go there that is..." I mutter, my eyes thinking that this may be a trap and keeping an eye out for an ambush

"I wouldn't stoop low enough to ambush you so don't worry and also why would I? I could just kill you out right." I say with a smirk as I open the door for you.
