Christine smiled and walked in the door while saying, "Thank You~" she then waited for him to walk in the door after she did, as she looked around the building, taking in most everyone, until her eyes hit someone she knew, before ignoring it unless they approach her. She then looked back at Rex with her regular monotone expression, that many people know very well..

@ChazGhost

Rex wen in right after her and looked around for a waitor to take then to a table. It wasn't a very fancy restraunt more of a family run place but they served some of the best food in town so it didn't matter. "Follow me to your table" the waiter said before guiding Rex and Christine to a table.

@Am2aM

Christine followed Rex and the waitress to the table before sitting down in the chair politely, then crossed her legs and rested her hands on her lap in a ladylike manner..

@ChazGhost

Rex sat down at the table relaxing in his chair. "What would you like to drink?" The waitress asked. "A glass of Mountain Dew." Rex told the waitress. Then after got the drink orders and left Rex decide to ask Christine "so what do you do for a living, If I may ask?".

@Am2aM

christine thought for a moment before speaking, "Well, I am a widely known business owner, I own entertainment industries, hotels, importing and exporting, all kinds of things.." she says as if deep in thought, "And how about you?" she asked with curiosity..

For a few seconds, Delilah remained silent, watching him with hesitant eyes. She had never told anyone about her past...she didn't trust anyone with her story...but somehow she trusted Alfons. Her gaze flitted to the ground, going out of focus as if she was remembering something. "I used to believe in true love," she started, her voice feeling strangely hoarse, "so did my mother."

"They were perfect...the young love birds of the town, my mother and father..." Her gaze seemed to harden as she spoke, "until he fell for a common whore...squandered our familiy's riches and honor on that government dog.. Broke the heart of my mom who had given her life to him when he asked."

Her fingers tightened around his hand as she felt cold anger wash over her. It was almost like his hand was her only anchor to keep her calm. Her gaze lifted to him, holding his eyes..."should i continue..?"

Leaning back against his bike, Oz sighed profoundly, allowing the tension that constricted his movements to an extent to be released. He folded his arms, eyeing the passersby inconspicuously. He was weak to resist the urge of smoking,right in tyhe spur of the moment, right when he was lenient towards his impulsive desires. He had just cursed at his boss, after all, one he had an immense respect for. Of course no smile would paint his lips. Instead, his eyes were furrowed as a cloud of smoke left his lips. He didn't care if he was out in the cold, he didn't care if he was acting childish, he didn'tcare if someone would easily attack or recognize him. He wanted a smoke and that's all there was to it.

Wow that a wide rang of business... And I just rent out office space to have meeting with clients... And take naps... Rex thought to himself before saying calmly "I'm a Private Investigator. It's not as profitable as what you do but the work is always interesting and the people you meet can be... More interesting sometimes".

@Am2aM

Accelerator was walking down the street as he felt a familiar presence nearby as he stops and glances out the window of an restaurant seeing Christine with the guy from earlier as he keeps glancing at them from the window

Julian Weigl

Weigl landed on the ground safely,as people started gathering around him Weigl slowly walked away from the crowd.He was nearing a guy who was leaning on his bike,For some reason this guy out of everyone who was near him gave him a weird feeling,Weigl looked at him from the corner of his eyes before walking past him

"...Well, that was...something." Oz looked up as tow where the strange had come from, his eyebrows arched ever so slighy, expressing a rather lost notion of what had just happened before him. Was he an idiot or did he just didn't give two shits about anything? Hard to tell, Oz was not one to mingle among the daredevil type or whatever this guy was. He had to give him props for the execution though, nicely done indeed. But give the weird look he gave him as he left, he could tell the guy was really interested in interacting with him. He would nkot be the first though, he couldn't really blame him for it. Shrugging off the bizarre incident, Oz finished his cigarette in silence.

Julian Weigl

Weigl looked at him once again,Weigl felt annoyed by this guy he also felt like this guy was somehow "different" from the others around him and he wanted to know why,He wanted to get this guys attention so Weigl made a small rock appear in his hand,But it wasn't a normal rock it was rock that was very dark so much so that you can't tell if it is a rock or not this was one of Weigl's powers,The power to make contructs out of his despair.Weigl turned around and threw the rock at the bike the guy was leaning against hoping it would grab the guys attention.

Christine nodded with her flirty smile, "That sounds like it would be more fun then sitting in a office and writing on papers all day.." she says as she looked at him then around the restaurant till her eyes landed on someone through the window, accelerator, she had left him alone earlier when he was fighting the reaper.. Well I guess I can ask him for help with something? She then pulled out her phone and texted something in the blink of an eye before putting it away and looking back at Rex. "So, were you hired for anything recently?" she asked.

Accelerator

Before the rock could possibly damage his precious bike, a dark, vaguely animal-shaped entity materialized from Oz's fingertips. While finishing his cigarette calmly, it did its master's bidding by shielding from the blow. Due to the nature of the mysterious object, the familiar released a shriek upon impact, fading away and confirming Oz's suspicion.

This guy was no ordinary idiot.

"....Listen. I don't know what I did for you to start acting like a delinquent wannabe. Frankly, I don't care either." The nonchalance in his voice was palpable, albeit tainted with a mild passive-aggression. "But if you want a fight, buddy, I'd be happy to oblige." Leaving the vehicle, the warlock moved his wrist towards his mouth, his hand still covered by a glove while the one that had summoned his familiar cracked with dark magic.

@FaceBloat

"I have a few cases I'm working on. I just got done helping a women see if her husband was cheating. He wasn't. And then the rest are finding missing family or lost items." Rex said as the waitress came over with the drinks. "But those case are starting to hit dead ends" Rex said with a little sadden.

Astrien

Astrien left the diner with a full stomach and continued on her way.

She heard footsteps behind her and she quickened her pace, turning unto the next street where two males were, one by a bike, they other across the way.

The one across the way threwe an object at the other and he blocked it with his magic.

"Damn it all."

She swore as the a familiar was summoned and dove behind a dumpster.

"I suppose I should be grateful it's not a demon."

Throughout her explanation, Alfons quietly listened. He looked down at Delilah's smaller form, taking in what she said and what her eye portrayed. Her sadness when on this topic... Alfons hadn't seen it before with her. His chest twisted for her, strangely, but he wouldn't of known what to say even if he tried. He had no prior experience with love. Alfons himself was conceived through an arranged marriage between two people who simply tolerated each other. "If you want," Alfons murmured.

@Dominaiscna

"A homicidal maniac. Great." Oz muttered under his breath before bit in the hem of his glove and sliding it off his hand, as his magic began gain shape and form. He extended his arm towards the male, a rune circle identical to the one carved in his skin appearing just beneath his feet, glowing intensely, as to which his irises harmoniously accompanied. "Oh, whoever you are, hiding behind the dumpster...? I'd prefer no casualties or witnesses!" Did she really think he had not seen her? And before she could muster a response, Oz chanted his incantation, summoning a shadow familiar once more that immediately attacked Julian.

Her eyes were holding his in an unflinching gaze, studying and searching his as if she wanted to know what he thought of her now... Of her family... But seconds later, she looked away, back to a spot somewhere in the room, nodding gently into his hand at his reply.

"My mom hoped it was a bump in their relationship... That it would be all over soon.. So she endured the arguements, the fights, the pressure, the scrutiny, the shunning.. Everything...she was naive...we all were...too caught up in fairytales to realize the truth..." Her voice was starting to shake softly, and she took a deep breathe to steady it.

"My father gave that vixen everything he had. From his gold and fortune to the very skin and bone on his body. And what did that harlot do? She left him under a mountain of debt and bad relations once she had wrung every bit of gold out of him," her hand clenched his tightly as she took another deep breathe, her eyes twinkling at the corners.

"...my father chased her when she left him... She had him thrown in jail and accused of molestering, abuse, adultery, drug dealing, thievery, fraud...he died in there through abuse and violence days later.." She closed her eyes, feeling them sting, "mother couldn't handle the pressure of a collapsing household and the debt dropped on her shoulders while trying to mend a broken heart. She hung herself a month later.. Leaving me....."

Christine watched his expression slowly before she noticed the waitress bringing the drinks, she then looked at Rex, "Can ya give me some details on the cases?" she asked curiously and she watched him...

@ChazGhost

"I can give some but no names, to keep things confidential." Rex said as got his soda. "Most of these kidnaping have been involving people of a more... Supernatural origin like witches and werewolfs. Then each case have different times and place were they kidnapping happened... For the ones I figured out at least. But after that the trail runs cold. But there one thing that keeps always showing up." Rex said still in a sadden tone.

@Am2aM

Christine sighs, "Hey Rex? What made you want to become a detective in the first place?" She asked as she stirred her drink with a straw, watching him intently in how he shifts, how deep his breaths are, how his emotions change..

Astrien

"Damn."

She sifted, her slender female body changing to a large, powerful Tiger.

Sliding out from behind the dumpster she growls a warning. (Doesn't want to fight and doesn't want to die either).

Luckily her long fur hid her collar. She didn't want to go back.

Alfons blinked with a small, short nod. "You lived to live on the streets, and got taken in by Hexlair," he finished for her. "Do you still have the debt?" Alfons asked, an idea forming in his mind.
