[div class=he]Cyberspace: Digital Destruction[/div]

PLACEHOLDER:
Far, far into the future, humanity has overpopulated the earth and ruined its biodiversity. Everyone now lives in virtual reality from birth to keep their minds away from the total wasteland their ancestors created. People live in capsules with only their basic needs satisfied while their wants are fulfilled in the digital space. The internet is a web of different VR spaces instead of the now obsolete websites and “countries” have taken on a whole different meaning.
Almost everything in the outside world is done by machinery run by artificial intelligence, humans only have to oversee the process. Surgeries are performed using precise nanomachines and robots farm nutrients instead of crops. Professions relating to entertainment and creativity become the largest part of the job market and almost everything else has become managerial or supervising.
Cimex, a group that destroys bugs and solves malware infestations, has been idle lately. Since AI and corp debuggers price themselves cheaper, fewer jobs have been coming their way. When a request to terminate a dangerous virus comes their way, they take it on, not knowing the true extent of what the virus can do.
