Wilhelm 'Hunter' Vilchis

Wilhelm rolled his eyes and turned and began running again, sliding down a tilted glass pane before jumping to another roof and landing with a loud thump. He looked at his feet warily before running again, a small hud appearing in his helmet as a map opened up and directed him to the left where he was prevented by two parallel pipes. He smiled as he ran up to the first and dashed up it, kicking up before grabbing onto a metal railing them repeating the kick up grab, kick up grab. He quickly grabbed the edge of the pipe and pulled himself up, looking at Peridot who was still in tow before jumping off the building and onto a large stack of cardboard crates which softened his fall.

Peridot followed Wilhelm's trail. This new area was unsettling to him. Peridot looked over to Wilhelm. He followed Wilhelm all the way to the motel. Peridot stared at the front door. He hesitantly opened it and stared at the woman at the desk. He turned to Wilhelm. "What now?" He asked curiously.

Wilhelm smirked as he looked at Peridot, opening the door before speaking to Peridot as he flashed his badge to the woman who went deathly pale at the sight of a runner.


"Ma'am, we'd like to look around this area a bit." He said.


The female nodded slowly before pointing to the elevator and handing them a key card with golden writing on it, Wilhelm smiled and slipped his badge away before taking Peridot by his arm and dragging him into the elevator where he closed the elevator and scanned the keycard.


"Now... We work... Does the Garnet have a GPS of sorts ?"


He turned to look at Peridot as the elevator rose.

"No. The Garnet was an unfinished prototype, however there is a fusion tracker." Four of Peridot's fingers formed into a square shape, making a green holographic looking screen. He took the hand with only one finger gathered around it and used it to enter a diamond shaped pattern. After this pattern was entered Peridot was greeted by a screen that kept track of every time The Garnet fused. It contained information such as, the gender of the people who fused, the species, and for how long they fused, including a picture of the unmasked fusion plus the hight of that specific Garnet. Peridot then exited the elevator. He looked at Wilhelm, hoping he'd know what to do. "We're looking for two male humans. Their last fusion was approximately twenty two minutes ago. "

Wilhelm nodded before drawing his gun and looking around, stopping and looking at Peridot before blinking and tapping his HUD. He looked up and down then left to right before stopping and looking to his left again. Nope. He looked back at Peridot and shrugged uselessly.


"Does it leave any signature behind ? Radiation ? Thermal ?"


He stared at him, reaching up and adjusting his headgear before looking down the hall at an elderly man who opened the door and looked down the hall before scuttling back inside at the sight of them.

(Good....cuz now I kinda ship him with Marcus and Craig's Garnet....I DON'T UNDERSTAND EITHER!)


"DNA. When The Garnet activates, their DNA, also fuses. So if you find a piece of thin temple string with two different kinds of DNA, then we've found our targets." He responded, still staring at the screen in front of him. "They were also fused at midnight. They seem to fuse quite often...." He showed Wilhelm the picture of the unmasked Garnet. "He's seven feet tall, so if we see this, it's Garnet. "


Peridot looked around, seeing people run away and hide their faces at the sight of Peridot and Wilhelm. He looked over his shoulder to face Wilhelm. "Why do they act afraid after looking at us?"

Wilhelm nodded before looking up at the wavering ceiling light, sighing as he walked down the hall towards the last few rooms while watching as people hid when they walked. He winced as a mother hid her two children behind her as they walked, growling before continuing on.


"I'll tell you later." He stated.


He stopped at the final room and stared at it, scanning as he looked at the room before shaking his head. He perked up and turned to Peridot once more, looking at his triangle before flicking it playfully.


"You got any scanning systems in there ?" He asked.

(Sorry, the wifi decided "I wanna have a seizure riiiiiiight NOW!")


"WUAHHH!" Peridot screamed, taking a step back and swatting Wilhelm's hand away at the uncomfortable feeling of his weak spot being attacked. After a moment of calming down he smiled. "Of course I do." His triangle then started shining a little green dot in the room. The dot moved lightning fast, until the the dot turned red on the right pillow of the messy bed. The dot stayed shining while Peridot walked over to where the dot was.


There, he found a strand of dirty blonde hair. This was the crossed DNA they'd been looking for.


Peridot held his hand over the hair stand, and surrounded the stand with a little green bubble. "Let's go. We have exactly what we need." Peridot added lifting the bubble and letting it float above his hand. He then turned off the scanner and walked out of the room.

Wilhelm seemed surprised at Peridot's actions, shaking his head before laughing slightly. He walked over to him and looked at the green orb with the stray hair within it before smiling and patting him on his shoulder.


"Not what I had in mind, but okay.... Can you track it remotely ?"


(Sorry it's short, I'm doing something with assignments and want to get it done first, sorry ;-

"Unfortunately I can only do so much. We'll need to report to the police station if we want to know who's thin temple string it is." Peridot said shaking his head during the first sentence. He then continued to walk down the hall, still curious about all the people hiding and running away.


(Short post here, too...Also....I dunno if you knew or not, but Rain hasn't done anything in a while.)

Wilhelm looked at Peridot and nodded before exiting with his in tow, he called the elevator and entered with him before crossing his arms and waiting. He paused on the way down before finally speaking to Peridot.


"They're running and hiding because this isn't the kind of neighbor hood that enjoys the company of the police force."


He then walked out with Peridot and walked onto the streets where he looked around before heading down a back alley to a ladder which he climbed to the rooftops. He looked around before looking down at Peridot and speaking once again.


"C'mon, lets get back and track the hair."


He began to run and jumped over things with quite a speed before stopping and looking at Peridot in tow, smiling as he continued on to jump over a large crate and then onto the next roof. He had shoved the previous bank robbers from his mind till now and had paused to think about it before heading off again.

Erin smirked as he picked up speed and pushed a trash can out of the way, overtaking Neon and looking at her before tipping an invisible hat to her. He came to a stop at the warehouse and smirked as he looked at Neon who was later than him, sticking his tongue out before entering.


"Beat you."

Peridot stopped running when Wilhelm did. He was going to ask why Wilhelm stopped, until he dashed away. Peridot followed close behind Wilhelm. When they reached the front door of the police station, Peridot walked inside behind Wilhelm. He jumped, hearing the metal dector go off wildly when he walked through. He bushed off the confusion and followed Wilhelm. "So, where exactly would we be able to analyze this thin temple string?" He asked.

Neon growled at Rain playfully, walking into the warehouse. "That's because I let you win." Neon smirked. She walked into the warehouse and began to search the place for anything they could use.


She did find a small amount of ammo before shaking her head, remembering that they weren't there for ammunition. She sighed, slipping the ammo into her pocket and turning to look around some more.

Wilhelm looked at Peridot and shook his head at his stupidity, he was a drone, how did he not know this stuff ? He shook of his annoyance before nodding to Peridot and walking off with him following, still fuming at his incompetence but a little less.


"Forensic lab."


He then made his way to the lab where he pointed to a large box that had four empty peetree disks within it, signalling at him to put the hair in it as he removed his helmet and begun setting up the machine in silence.

(Something tells me this is the first time Wilhelm has ever worked with a drone, either that or he's never worked with a freshly made drone. Or he knows absolutely nothing about Peridot in the first place. The understanding of technology can be easily programmed, because technology is just a tool, however modern crime investigation is something that can't be programmed, it has to be taught. Peridot never got a chance because of all those years stuck in a garage. )


Peridot placed the hair strand in the box and smiled when he finally got to get rid of the bubble. Finally, he'd be able to retrieve his greatest invention and continue to work on it until it was available for the police force to use. Peridot looked at Wilhelm, before finally breaking the silence.


"So, you still have not told me an actual name to identify you as." Peridot said, hinting to Wilhelm that he should tell Peridot his name. Peridot was sick of not knowing what to call the runner.

(Well, yes, they both have equal control over Garnet. However their personalities actually combine. Like if Neon and Rain fused they would generally be very childish, calm, and rude, but can get angry VERY easily, and even then they'd act childish and sarcastic but also extremely violent, ruthless, and just plain pissed off. The scenario you pointed out, is possible. Usually that happens when the two people used to fuse the Garnet have certain feelings towards each other based on how one side acts towards the other at the time. Also Garnets can be fused out of more than just two people, but it's most commonly two people....because if someone tried to fuse three people it would probably be the size of Godzilla!)
