Fantasy Cursed Island

Jalin nodded, "Yes, but surely they will ask what that lead is? The simplest answer is we found the thief mauled by an animal, but we did not find the stone, and we are still pursuing leads on that."

"Meaning," Turac threw a pillow at her, "Get dressed, stay dressed, and stop trying to pheromone me. The human nose is pathetic and it will not work."

"Mm, or that. That may work better. We have the proof of the body and the missing stone."

"Oof." Nidia let her skirt drop to catch the pillow. "Fine..." She turned away to put the pillow on a bed before leaning over to grab her skirt again. She stopped before pulling up, looking back at him. "Are you sure?"

Jalin nodded, "Then we know what we are to say, at least for now."

"Nidia, I am a dragon, even if a human's nose was capable of being affected by your odors, I am more than capable of resisting. Skirt on, the others may return at any time."

Roy nodded. "Right."

Nidia pouted and huffed as she pulled up her skirt. "I'm more than just a bag of pheromones and odors."

"Well that is all you are applying right now," Turac crossed his arms, "We at least need our party healer to be ready if something happens."

"Nidia, you are covered in damp fur and seemingly doing your best to scatter your clothes. It is not attractive, it is an inconvenience." Turac at least knew from experience with Siege and Shuffle that what Heated Nidia said probably shouldn't be taken as what Nidia would normally behave as. Gods only knew the transformation Siege and Shuffle went through was a drastic change from their usual behaviors.

Nidia blinked and looked taken aback for a moment before putting her ears back. "Ooooh, fine!" Nidia got her boots on before stomping out. "And I was even attracted to you!" She headed over to the girls room, not even knocking before she just tried to storm in.

"You suck at this," Sinach commented inside the box. Turac smacking the box with his fist shut the paper dragon up, just as he heard Siege shouting and throwing things in the other room.

Though the door wasn't locked, Siege sure wasn't happy to have Nidia barging in, and immediately threw things at the source of her present frustration. Pillows, a book, the tin teapot from the coffee table, anything within arms reach of the irate lion girl was ammo and Nidia basically had a target painted on her head.

Nidia took the first couple of hits before she started throwing them back with a hiss. She wasn't in a mood to just back down at the moment.

Turac sighed as he heard the literal cat fight going on next door. "Gods dammit, Siege." He sighed and got up, looking in the mirror across the room at himself and shaking his head as he walked out the door and grabbed Nidia's shoulder, encasing her in ice before firing his breath across the room to encase Siege as well, both of them completely encased up to the head. "Both of you, calm down, or I will close these glaciers and you can thaw in the bathroom."

Nidia blinked as she was suddenly immobile and very cold, even for her standards. She glanced over towards Turac. "She started it! I was just trying to get my stuff!"

"You don't just barge in on people!", Siege shot back.

"Let me repeat myself," Turac growled, "You will both be calm and civil, or you will freeze and hope the steam in the bathroom can thaw you out before you suffocate. Am I clear?" He of course had no intention of killing his little sister or Nidia, but the threat had a purpose to keep them in line until the other could arrive to help him deal with the situation.

"Siege?", Turac glanced across the room at his sister, who just scowled at him. "You don't have mom's necklace," he reminded her.

"Asshole."

"Your choice," Turac squeezed past Nidia and picked up Siege's ice block over his shoulder, calling on the limited dragon strength the enchantment let him access as he placed her in the heated bathtub and left her there, going back to that Nidia out with his steam breath.

Roy and the others returned around that time. Roy paused as he saw Turac thawing Nidia, and Siege was nowhere in sight. "...what happened?"

"Catfight," Turac shrugged, letting Nidia free, "At least the stone will not rot from water damage. Siege is thawing in the bathroom until she learns to calm down."

"You are... rather course," Jalin raised an eyebrow at the scene.

"What's happened?", Turac asked, "Did you retrieve the stone?"

"Not quite," Jalin shook his head, "We found the thief, but... not the stone." At least until they were sure there were no prying ears in the area, he wouldn't disclose full details. "We are pursuing a lead."

"Well, Siege is...", Turac glanced towards the womens' bathroom, "Not even in the same book."

"Siege is not paramount," Jalin shook his head, "Considering her temperment it would be best if she were not able to interfere with the objective, anyway."

"As you wish," Turac nudged the shivering Nidia into the guys' room, folowed by the others before the door was closed.

Jalin tapped his cane to listen around for anyone that might be prying, and nodded at Roy. "We're clear."
