Sorry, I have been bogged down in insurance things, but should have posted an FYI, at the least. Will be out all day tomorrow, but should be able to get something up Monday.
 
I understand. Games are nothing compared to life. But, it just seemed EVERYONE was gone at the same time. I was just concerned we had driven people off or the game hadn't lived up to expectations in some way.
 
He no, stupid life has caused me hiccups, my interest remains. My lightest days was this weekend. I hope my week remains this way. ^^ I'll post when I wake up later today.
 
Well we're just waiting for either the players to follow up in the Abyssals thread (at least one who hasnt posted is has stated he has nothing to say) or for the GM to move things on.
 
So, I'm caught between a rock and a hard place in this game, and it's definitely a unique experience for me. Let me explain:


I haven't seen eszett on at all in awhile. I believe he's got some major stuff going on in RL, he sent me a PM eluding to that. I only hope it's nothing serious and if it is good luck to him. I'm pulling for him.


With that said, we have quite a few players in this game and it's come to a screeching halt. I'm DYING to fix it but in order to do so, I need to essentially take over the entire game. All the work that comes with that aside, there would be a high potential for me to ruin the flavor eszett created with the Abyssals and possibly even the game for those playing there. I'm willing to work through that as long as the players are.


As it stands now, I am not yet ready to take that step. I'm hesitant and unsure what the appropriate amount of time to wait is before I start breaking stuff. Plus, I'd much rather just have eszett here running and we all know that as soon as I make the "executive decision" he'll be back and I'll have stolen his game, ruining it for everyone.


So, I'll have to make some tough choices soon. But, for now, I want to wait and see.


Just bear in mind, I fully plan on doing a great deal of work to keep this game alive, as long as its players wish to play.
 
Yes I am still here and willing to play. ^^ *remains convinced something is wrong with the alert thingy.*
 
Just to keep everyone in the loop: My wife and I are in the process of having our baby. I'll not be posting for at least tonight, maybe tomorrow. Sorry for the delay. I'll be back as soon as I can. Wish us luck!
 
So, let's say that I have made the decision to take over the Abyssal side of this game, at least for now. I have a problem. I have no idea where the beginning was going.


So, I'm turning to the players for ideas. Do you wish to continue the current scene? Do you wish to dump out of it unresolved(?) and move on? Give me some thoughts.
 
Your problem pretty much sounds the same as the players' problem... we didn't really have a place to take the current scene. Its been fairly widely suggested that it just move to a new scene for planning and such like, but I'd have to go read through the ooc to see how widespread that opinion really was.

Hah. This game deserves it. It has great potential. Plus, I started this thing asking if I should run Abyssals or Infernals. This way, I get to run both. :D


On a more serious note, if I do run the Abyssals, the tone and feel of the game will change for their players. It may be jarring and strange. Is everyone okay with bearing with me as we readjust?
 
Well, I think I've already put the Abyssals back up. I'm loathe to move the Infernals forward anymore until we get Abyssals posting.


So, it's COMPLETELY up to the players.
 
oh! I completely missed the new Abyssal thread! *pokes adder and the team* cmon lets get posting. You may want to hot-link it in the OOC discussion or something. Since I had no idea you created it :P
