Crimson is a lovely color, isn't it? 1x1

OOC: awesome! okay one moment

Summer turned into fall in a blink of an eye. Natalie, who was use to throwing a Halloween party every year, knew that wouldn't be the case this year. Natalie had made one long lasting friend, as least she felt she did, and it felt right. She was certain that they were best friends now from the secrets Natalie exposed. Natalie exposed the most hurtful secret, how she knew her parents weren't in love anymore. They stayed together because they don't think Natalia knows, but the truth is evident in her eyes.

While her parents slaved away at work, Natalie invited Taylor to spend the night which she did almost every weekend and binge watch comedy movies.

Taylor bounced up to Natalie's front door. She had grown rather close to the other brunette and was glad to have someone who trusted her enough to have secrets with and come to for advice. She smiled to herself and knocked on the door, waiting anxiously for the person she was sure would open the door. She loved the time spent watching movies with Natalie and couldn't wait to do it again tonight, possibly even sneak in a Halloween movie to be more festive in honor of the holiday that had come so quickly. She was honestly surprised by how fast summer had come and gone and fall moved in its place. The weather was beautiful this time of year though so she didn't complain much.

Natalie, not once, had a dull moment with Taylor. They were always surrounded with laughs, playful teases, and with a sense of adventure with them. Natalie, light on her feet, rushed to the door. She realized right then, she felt the need to impress her..? Natalie's thin fingers ran through her hair to be clear that there was no tangles in her hair. She was dressed in another dark red v-neck and dark jeans. She swung open the door, greeting Taylor with a wide grin,"Hey! Come on in," She moved to the side to let her pass through.

Taylor smiled brightly, glad to see Natalie again and quickly made her way inside before noticing the other's attire. "You're wearing reed again? Awesome! I guess I should have too, then we could've matched. It is both our favorite color after all." She said, winking playfully at Natalie. "It looks way better on you though." She added, gesturing to Natalie's self for emphasis. She wasn't lying either, she looked absolutely stunning to Taylor even when she wasn't wearing red. In all truth she was a bit jealous, but also found herself lucky to be best friends with someone like Natalie.

OOC: i really appreciate it when you like my post, cause I am in SO many rps right now and it's a struggle to keep up with all of them atm. haha :)

Natalie grinned sheepishly, "Thank you," She felt her face flush instantly however the living room didn't have any lights on, except the TV in the corner of the room. "But girl, you know you can literally wear anything. Anything looks good on you," Natalie said, breezing past her. "Are you hungry?" She asked, heading to the kitchen. 'Or thirsty?" She opened the fridge, grabbing the 2 liter of sprite and set it on the counter. Although it was terrible for Natalie to drink it, it was her bad addiction.

OOC: Just for that you get another like!

Taylor flushed in embarrassment at any sort of praise, and that comment was no exception. She smiled and nodded to Natalie. "Thanks Nat, glad you think so!" She chuckled, following after the brunette to the kitchen. "You know I'd never turn down food or drinks!" She exclaimed, leaning on the counter while flipping her hair sassily to add a bit of panache. She felt so comfortable around Natalie that she couldn't even bare to think of how it had been when she didn't have any friends. "You really should cut down on the sprite though, pretty soon you'll be peeing it!" She joked.

Natalie's face flushed, she laughed lightly. She shot Taylor a jokingly mean look,"I am fine!" She stated defensively, still keeping a light tone in her voice. "Sprite is life, okay? Sprite makes everything good in the world, you want one?" Natalie glanced at her, reaching above the cabinet in case.

"Oh my, are you actually offering me some of your beloved sprite? Is it the apocalypse? No, I must be dreaming!" Taylor said, faking an astonished voice. Giggling, Taylor stopped her teasing and just looked to the cabinet of cups. "Sorry, yeah sure. I'll take some!" She agreed. "What movie did you have in mind this time, if you don't mind my asking?" Taylor questioned, tilting her head slightly as she leaned towards Natalie waiting for her to answer. "I was thinking we could watch a Halloween movie some time tonight, you know, to get into the spirit!".

Natalie stared happily at Taylor, smirked,"You are right. The world must be ending." She stepped out of Taylor's way, when a smirk danced on Natalie's lips. She pointed above her,"Cups, right there." She tilted her head to the side, and realized what was happening.

Natalie was starting to like Taylor, and Natalie slowly moved away from her, turned back towards the fridge. "Are you up for a Disney movie?" Natalie glanced back as she reached above in the freezer to grab a pizza.

"I knew it, my gut instincts never fail me! Thanks for the sprite, of gracious one~." Taylor teased, reaching up on her tippy toes to get the cups. "Man, being short sucks." She muttered before turning to fill her cup with sprite. Being 5'2" could be vertically challenging, as any person around that height should know. She dramatically turned to Natalie upon the mention of the movie genre and grinned widely. "Hun, I'm always up for a Disney movie." She stated, snapping her fingers in excitement. "You are like, the best person ever." She added, nudging Natalie in a friendly manner.

Natalie laughed, turning towards Taylor when she had nudged her. She nudged her back playfully,"Do not nudge me, I will fight you Tay." She placed the pizza on the pan, turned the oven on and set it in the oven. She was not near Taylor now, but a grin was forming.

Smiling deviously, Taylor creeped towards Natalie and readied herself before quickly coming up to her and poking her. "Boop!" She shouted before laughing at Natalie's grinning face. "Sorry, sorry, I couldn't resist!" She breathed, hugging on Natalie while trying to calm down her laughing.

Natalie saw it coming but she still screamed from laughter. When Taylor hugged on her, Natalie could smell the sweet scent of vanilla and she nearly wanted to wrap her arms around her. She still continued laughing, before she lifted her arms slightly and started tickling Taylor's sides. "HA!"

Not expecting the sudden attack, Taylor nearly feel to the ground but tried her best to stay firm. "No fair! Th-that's m-my only w-w-weakness!" She screeched out between breaths, barely being able to handle the treacherous tickling. She wriggled around while laughing loudly, trying her best to escape her captor while tears began to peak out of her eyes due to excessive laughing.

Natalie was laughing excessively, almost stopped when Taylor almost fell to the ground. When she didn't, Natalie continued, giggling loudly before her laughter started to die down and she stopped tickling. "I win, like always," She stated in a matter fact of way, smirked.

Taylor calmed down and crossed her arms while puffing out her cheeks. "No fair." She pouted, knowing that Natalie was right. "W-whatever, how long until the pizza is done?" She asked, trying to change the topic.

Natalie smirked doubling over laughing, before she shook her head and picked up the box, skimming it. "15 minutes," She turned on her heel. "I didn't want to start the movie until it's finished, that cool?"

"Yeah that's fine, who eats before starting a movie anyways?" She asked, smiling while rolling her eyes. "What should we do while we wait, then?" She continued, bouncing lightly as she walled next to Natalie and looked into the oven at the baking pizza.

Natalie felt her heart start to hammer in matter of seconds. She looked at her,"Deep conversation?" She raised an eyebrow with a smile spreading

Taylor sighed, relieved to have some time for things that really close friends can only do. "Of course, those are the best." She agreed, nodding her head with enthusiasm.

Natalie smiled, feeling the nervous within her sparking again. It didn't show and it didn't sound like it, in her voice. She looked at Taylor,"First, did you ever go on that date with that guy who asked you in the lunch room that one day?" She paused,"Cause you never told me about that."

Taylor was confused at first but then remembered. "Oh, him? Nah, I didn't even know him nor did I like him in that way." She admitted, sighing. "I don't know... Honestly, I was scared. No one's ever shown interest in me like that and I've never really felt attracted to someone before." she added, not including that fact that she found Natalie attractive, that would make things really awkward and she didn't want to loose her best friend.

Natalie gave a simple and short nod, listening too her. She smiled somewhat, then looked at her. "Hold on, no one has shown in interest in you that way...like," She paused slowly, her eyes widened then looked at her."You kissed someone before right?"

Taylor's face quickly erupted in red before she was able to look away or stutter an answer. "I, u-uh, um.... No." She stammered, embarrassed at the fact. She never thought of it as a big deal until then, and now it was like something she was scared to admit.

Natalie tried her hardest to not seem surprised but she was. She was silent for a second, then shook her head. "That's not a bad thing," She paused, then her eyes lit up and her jaw dropped,"I have an idea! What if I was your first kiss? It would be weird or anything," Natalie smiled, waving it away. "Seriously, it would be cool."
