“It’s okay. You’re not rambling.” Emily responded. “And people say I listen more than I talk anyways so it doesn’t bother me. So you’re from Korea? That’s really cool! I’ve always wanted to go overseas, and Korea is on my list.”

Emily most wanted to go to Japan, but anywhere in Asia was fine and dandy to her.

“Is your roommate nice? I didn’t get a chance to meet mine because I was late.”

"Oh, thanks," she replied. "And you'll love it; it's mostly calm, but there's quite a few people there, especially near the outskirts and the beaches." She had loved her time in Korea, and if Emily wanted to go there, Lavender had a feeling she'd love it as well.

"Yeah, Cilla's nice. I haven't talked to her much, but from what I know, she seems really nice. Chill too."

“I’m not really the most peoplest people.” Emily said, laughing lightly at her lack of proper grammar. “But I’m working on it. Maybe by the time I graduate i’ll Have to confidence to go somewhere crowded like Korea.” Emily started to momentarily daydream about what it was like there.

“I’ve heard good things about most everybody here. I try my best to be easy to get along with so hopefully I make some friends.”

Lavender gave a slight laugh at the improper grammar and nodded. "You'll love it," she said quietly. "It's wonderful there." She gave a little smile and let her little smile turn just a bit more real and human as she watched the girl briefly daydream. It was cute.

"Everyone here seems mostly nice. I won't judge people by how I first see them, but they seem mostly nice, so I think I'll keep my hopes high for now."

“I like to form my own opinion about people by interaction. Unless a bunch of people say something bad. Then I get suspicious.” Emily said with a sheepish laugh. “But people say I don’t really see how bad a person is until it hits me in the face. Not sure if that’s good or bad.

"That sounds like my brother," she commented lightly. "And I think that means, no offense, you're not exactly aware of things unless they're right there in front of you. I wouldn't say it's a bad thing, but whatever floats your boat."

“No offense taken.” Emily nodded. “I like to keep my mind in the moment, that’s all. No point in dwelling on the past, and the future is undecided.” She adjusted the grey beanie sitting on top of her head and sighed. “I admit I probably am also a little easy to take advantage of”

Lavender smiled gratefully and nodded. "That's quite the analogy," she said. "And there's nothing wrong with that; imperfections are what make us human."

“You’re exactly right.” Emily nodded cheerfully. “People should learn to embrace their flaws. If we didn’t have them, what fun would that be?”

"Right?" Lavender agreed. "Finally, someone who agrees with that! I mean, how fun would getting an A be if you got one every time, right?"

“Speaking of A’s, what’s your first class?” Emily asked curiously. “I have Humanities up on the second floor.”

Priscilla Lincoln
Priscilla flashed a smile at everyone who answered that they were going to the high school. She was glad to be surrounded by multiple classmates, although she nearly frowned when she noticed her roommate Lavender wasn't with her anymore. Two of the girls, who she heard were named Kailo and Elizabeth and were going into the cafe, which had been Priscilla's objective, but she didn't want to ignore a couple of the boys who responded to her. She adjusted her guitar case and spoke to them.

"Oh awesome! What are your names? Like I said, I'm Priscilla. And," she turned to Hugo, "that's just what I was wondering cher, who went here. No need to worry about interrupting anything. Oh, what's your name boy? Can I pet him?" Cilla's attention shifted towards the dog, of course.

Grey turned towards priscilla when she asked him his name "I'm Greymark, but everyone calls me Grey". He unlocked hisphone and read the message

Attached to the message was a photo of a pile of various patterned sneakers
He laughed at that, it was typical of his friend to say something likethatt

"Oh? I have humanities too. Be warned though, Ms. Williams is supposed to give a really hard conjunctions test on the first day," she shuddered slightly. She was good at humanities, no doubt, but she hated it when she had to be the first to hand in her test, so she always waited for someone else to stand up first, and everyone was really slow, so she normally just doodled in the margins, but she didn't know if Ms. Williams would allow that.

"If you just take your best guess, I think you can do it," she replied. "It's a multiple choice test, apparently; according to the seniors, it seems like torture at first until you realize that Ms. Williams is just spewing out bullshit."

“Well, guessing I’m good at.” Emily replied. “And I’ve always been the lucky type, so I’m not expecting an A but a B minus, maybe.”

"That's probably what most people are gonna get," she said. "I don't know, though; you seem like a straight A kinda girl."

“Really?” Emily asked. “That’s sweet. I would be, but somehow I get a B in one stinking class every year. I bet humanities will take that spot this semester.”

"Anytime," she said. "And the majority of my grades are Bs, unless you count the classes I'm a TA for. So I think you're better off than me." She rubbed her neck sheepishly.

“So...” Emily paused, not sure what else to say. “We still have time before first period. Want to grab some coffee with me?” She paused again. “Erm, did that sound weird?”

"I'd love to," she smiled. "And no, it didn't sound weird. Coffee sounds nice, especially before the test. I think Ms. Williams lets you have drinks in the classroom, so we're out of the woods if we bring our drinks in."

“I sure hope so. I’m a slow coffee drinker.” Said Emily with a sheepish smile as she headed towards the exit of the current building. “I could also use the excersise.”

Lavender followed and said, "I prefer tea, but I'm kinda slow too, especially when it tastes really good. And I think it'd be best for all of us; every student in the school has to take PE. It's one of the required electives along with Health."

“Ugh. PE.” Emily scoffed. “I completely forgot about that class. Took it in middle school and I swear I nearly died during the dodgeball unit. And the volleyball unit. And any other unit.”
