BACKSTORY


Patrick's past is just as foggy and vast as the forest. He was born and raised under royalty, specifically owning power over this island and its surrounding inhabited sister islands. His parents and him lived in the castle that soon became Patrick's academy. They experienced a peaceful life, their days long - occasionally exploring the land - but uneventful nonetheless. However, on one unusually dark and silent night, Patrick's parents were outside the castle, when they were attacked by a vicious dragon, roaming for prey. Patrick had been trapped inside the castle, too young and helpless. He spent his grieving and healing time alone, educating himself and exploring the forest and land around him, instead of remaining being locked up with no one but his own mind and memory. It's unclear how he exactly turned his empty family castle into an academy, but he had found an ancient chest hidden away in the castle that held his parent's special belongings. One of the things there was a letter from their parents - the grandparents Patrick never knew of - that explained how they always dreamed of making the castle into an academy. He had sworn to live out the family wish.


For the past century, the academy has been going strong.

PERSONALITY


It would seem impossible to sum up Patrick's personality into one sentence. He's been known to be adventurous and passionate, risking his own life for the price of something incredible. He puts his entire heart and soul into the things he does. He hasn't been known as ever a slacker or one to hesitate. He's also wise, choosing his words with precision and explaining his thoughts crisply. Once described as like a teacher by one of his friends, he yearns perfection, and doesn't take no for an answer. Although, he can be pleasant, calm, and an overall joy to be around when comfortable. But take caution: for he may not keep this attitude in check forever. He does have a piercingly dark and fierce side, which could describe him more of a monster than a protector.

Backstory:


Madoka was born in Scotland while her parents were on an overseas vacation. For much of her childhood she was bullied in school leading her to become extremely reclusive and shy around anyone who hasn’t earned her trust. She came to attend Hollowcrest academy after a particularly bad run in with schoolyard bullies left her hospitalized. Her parents thought it would give her a fresh start and safe place to cultivate her magical potential inherited from her father’s family, while she was a little unsure when she first heard about it she eventually warmed up to the idea after she was told about what she would learn there.

Personality:


Madoka is a very timid and skittish girl. She tends to go the path of least resistance, and tries to avoid unnecessary contact with people the best she can. In times of extreme pressure or stress she will shut down and become mostly unresponsive to the outside world. Despite this she is a very loyal friend and while go to great lengths to help her friends even if it may cause her extreme discomfort. She is very slow to anger, though if she does loose her cool she will lash out at whatever or whoever is nearest to her very briefly before she regains her composure.

Backstory: Samuel was raise mostly by his mother. His mother home schooled him and he worked very hard. However, Samuel lost his mother due to a sickness when he was 9 years old. He started attending a public school, when he discovered his abilities. His father trained him in basic martial arts. Samuel practiced them until he was 16, when his father decided to send him to this academy. His father thought that he couldn't live with a son like this, because neither Samuel nor his father really understood his powers.


Appearance: A pale, 5'10 teenager with Dirty blonde hair and 10 stitches on his left cheek. He has green eyes. He often wears a White Hoodie with the word Tamashi written on it in black. He wears black soccer pants with white stripes and running shoes. He can turn his eyes into reptilian eyes and grows a Lizard tail when using his abilities.

Fin lived in an orphanage for her entire life, only being told her parents were on the run. She was always bullied at school and eventually didn't care. The caretakers were worried so they bought her self defense classes. She finished them quick so she was also taught offensive combat because she asked. The next time the bullies came she beat to a pulp. The caretakers saw the blood on her hands and became terrified so they sent her to Hollowcrest Academy.​

Fin never knew her parents. It was only the orphanage, all the way from the start. She learned from the caretakers that they were on the run, and that was all they got. At school, she was constantly bullied and was always running from them. She got scraped and cut quite a few times when she ran, mostly due to a metal fence she always had to climb over.


Eventually, she managed to scale the fence without any injuries. By then she was sick of the bullies bothering her so she just gave up altogether with running. She just sat back and let them do their thing. Everyday, she would come back with bruises, cuts, and burns. The younger kids were scared, so the caretakers finally decided to take action.


They thought that self defense was the best option for Fin, so they signed her up. Of course, Fin refused. She said she didn't care about the bullies and that they could do what they wanted to do to her. Without any other option and the money already spent, they forced her to go.


Reluctantly she agreed, only to make them stop nagging her. She learned all the topics quickly, and by the end of the first week, she had mastered self defense. Because there was still another three weeks worth of classes left, the instructor started teaching her more offensive combat skills rather than self defense, as she asked.


When her time was up, she had gotten to about the same level as her instructor if not higher. The caretakers were pleased when Fin said that she enjoyed it and learned a lot. By the time the bullies came for her the next day, she was prepared. Before they had a chance to even insult her, she was already attacking the leader.


Punch after punch connected with his face, not enough to break anything, but just enough to cause bruises and an uncontrollable nosebleed. When she was finished, she raised her fists at her ex-bullies, and they all ran. She just turned and walked back to the orphanage, her knuckles covered in blood that wasn't hers.


When she got back to the orphanage, it was the caretakers that saw her first. They asked if she faired well, and she showed them her bloody hands, an unreadable emotion on her face. They were terrified and rushed her to the bathroom to wash the blood off before the other children saw.


With her hands clean, she came back to see the caretakers with sad expressions on their faces. They told her she was becoming a danger to all the other kids so she had to leave. She nodded and immediately went to pack away all her things. She came down and they then added that she was going to Hollowcrest Academy. Eventually, Fin managed to learned to keep calm and has been that way ever since.

To other people, she is a bit lazy and very unpredictable and will do or say random things, just to mess with them. She thinks everything's a joke and will make the occasional one.

Backstory: Elliot lived a happy life with his family, who were all nekos. But, one day, he was wandering in the woods when a dark mage came out.

The mage claimed that Elliot was trespassing in his woods and decided to punish him accordingly. The mage came up to Elliot and put his hand over his eye, proceeding to curse it. Elliot screamed in agony when the mage was cursing his eye. The mage said that it would unleash a power within Elliot that would be near impossible to control. When the mage was done, Elliot lost control of himself. He went to his house and killed his family, except for his father. When he came back to his senses, Elliot was terrified and confused. His own father was afraid of him now. Elliot didn't know why until he saw his family's bodies around him. His father claimed he was dangerous, and sent him to Hollowcrest Academy. Elliot now keeps a cloth wrapped around his eye, and refuses to reveal it to anyone.
