Fandom Corpse Party: Stuff of Nightmares

Akihiro nodded and walked to the door that was locked. "Maybe we can break the glass. Or maybe there's a key somewhere." He said thinking out loud.

"Okay." Ako said. She stopped as they reached the classroom they'd been in minutes before. She could've sworn she left the door open but now it was shut. She grabbed the door handle and found that she couldn't open it, not even using all her strength.

"It wasn't locked a minute ago." she said.

Akihiro scratched his head. "That's weird." He tried to kick the door down. It didn't budge. Then he tried to kick the glass with all of the power he can get. But the glass didn't even crack. "What the hell?"

"Somebody really doesn't want us to leave." Ako shuddered, "What now?" She had no idea what to do from this point. Presumably, the front door wouldn't open either and neither would the windows. So, they were truly stuck.

Akihiro sighed. "Let's look fir a key. There's got to be a master key or somewhere. Come on." He headed down the hall looking.

"So... We should be looking for an office or something?" Ako said, "That's where they'd keep the keys. Right?" She was suddenly so unsure of everything that was going on. This whole place made her want to question her every move. Because anything could get them killed right now.

Akihiro thought of where they should. "Or maybe a janitors closet. Janitors always have keys. Come on." He looked around for the Janitors closet.

"Okay." Ako said, before adding a little sarcastically, "Lead on, Oh Great One." She was glad that she wasn't the one in charge because she would not have thought of looking for keys. She would've just focused on trying to kick down the door.

"I guess we should look for information too." she said, "Anything that can help us get out of here." Because she had a feeling that a key on it's own might not do much for them.

Akihiro chuckled as he looked around and found the stairs. "Maybe the janitors closet is on a different floor. Come on." He opened the door and went down the stairs slowly.

Ako followed him down the rickety stairs. Everything here was a complete health hazard, these stairs included. They'd already started to crumble away at the edges. She was careful not to fall and break her neck. Though, by the looks of it, somebody already had. A skeleton was crumpled at the bottom of the stairs and Ako was careful not to step on it.

Akihiro stepped over the corpse. "I wonder how students died here." He thought out loud as he checked the corpse for a Id card. He found one and gave it to Ako.

"I knew you weren't smart, Akihiro, but I didn't know you were incapable of reading." Ako teased, "Sakiyurai Oniji, Tendo Senior High School." She read, "Looks like he didn't look where he was going, huh?" She laughed, shakily. That could have been her.

Akihiro playfully punched her on the arm. "Oh shut up." He kept walking. "Looks like we're on the first floor now. The janitors closet should around here somewhere."

(Yay! The janitor's closet! The place where Kibiki was murdered and there's a TV! WOOOOO!)

"Ow!" Ako laughed, rubbing her arm, "That actually hurt!" She looked around, "Any signs of demon ghost children?" Akihiro was amazing to be so calm and casual in this situation. If it wasn't for the creaking floorboards and the blood smeared across the floor occasionally, Ako could have almost believed that they were back home, happy and laughing together.

(Yeah! Janitor closet! Another another location for our possible damnation! Woo!)

Akihiro chuckled. "Oh it didn't hurt that bad." He said jokingly. He kept looking until he heard static in the distance. "You hear that?"

(YEAH, NAHO MIGHT KILL US, WOOOO!)

Ako paused and listened. Was that... Static? It was hard to believe they'd have a TV in this place if they didn't even have working lights.

"Yeah." she said, in surprise, "Let's investigate!"

Akihiro followed the static until it got louder. Soon they were at a door, and the source of the static is right behind it. "It's right behind this door. And thankfully it's at the janitors closet of all places." He pushed the door, but it didn't budge. "Goddammit."

"Move aside, Akihiro. I will use my badass ninja skills." Ako said, "HI-YAH!" She kicked the door as hard she could. It didn't budge an inch and her foot began to ache as she stumbled backwards.

"It's definitely locked." she said, smiling weakly, "Haha... Owww..."

Shikyo looked around the hallway and noticed a staircase across from the body. "Yuina we should look upstairs." He said as he pulled his notebook out of his bag. He tore out a blank page and began to write. 'Its Shikyo, I'm with Yuina. We're both ok.' He showed the paper to Yuina. "In case we pass them, and we don't notice them." He said and put the paper on the ground. "We should go." He said as he began to move towards the stairs.

"To keep us out, I assume." Ako said, "Some spiritual force is telling us that they don't want us in there. I think we should go search for clues about the school. Mainly, why it exists and why the charm brought us here. It has something to do with Sachiko, I assume." There was a small chuckle from behind them and Ako spun around.

"You're a bright one, aren't you?" A girl with a red star pinned in her short hair said, looking at the pair of them. She looked totally ordinary, like the average high school student. Except for her eyes, which looked dead.

"You're... You're... Naho Saenoki!" Ako exclaimed, in delight.

Akihiro raised a eyebrow. "Is that the paranormal person you admire Ako?" He's remembers the many times Ako mentioned that person.

"Ah, a fan?" Naho said, "You're not the first I've met today, I'll admit. So, let me guess, you did the Sachiko Ever After charm and found yourself stuck in this spiritual plane like everybody else here?"

"Um... Yeah." Ako said, "Spiritual plane?" She understood the term vaguely.

"This school is held together by the spirits of the children who died in a murder incident. It is a part of the spiritual world." Naho explained, "It does not exist in reality. If you die here, you will most likely be forgotten in reality." She looked a little sad, Ako thought, "But do not fear. You may make it out alive. It is highly unlikely though. I, myself, died trying to escape from here." That shocked Ako to the core. Naho was dead?

Akihiro listened trying to put this together. "Would you happen to know how to get out of here?" Figure that she must know that at least.

"You're... You're dead?" Ako was processing it slowly. Her idol was dead? Maybe even killed? Or murdered, perhaps? Naho waved her question aside and gave what looked like a small smile.

"I am a spirit, yes." she told Ako, then she turned to Akihiro, "I'm afraid that I don't know. I was working on finding a way out of here with my mentor but I died before we could figure out anything. I'm sorry that I can't assist with your escape."

(NAHO IS A LIAR >.<)
