Fandom Corpse Party: Stuff of Nightmares

(I hope so too.)

Akihiro opened the door and looked around at the new surroundings. He then saw a candle and sat in front of it. There he sat there thinking.

"Oh, yeah," Yuina said. "I guess I didn't consider that the gaps might not be the same distance across." She squinted her eyes, tying to find the wire in the dark gloom of the hallway they were in. Finally, she noticed a glint in the gap and nodded. Leading the way down the hallway they hadn't explored yet, Yuina got a sudden chill; a feeling of... loss. That's weird, she thought, noting that Shikyo was still there. "I hope the others are okay."

As much as the diary infuriated her, Ako couldn't just stand around glaring at it. Holding the book in her hands, she left the room- discovering upon exiting that it was an archives room. She looked up and down the corridor, hoping that nobody would see her. She didn't want anyone to see her broken ghostly form. She still couldn't believe that she was dead. But she did need to tell her friends about the diary- tell them about who murdered the children. Maybe it would help them escape- no, wait. If they left, she'd never see them again. Perhaps she shouldn't help them because, as Naho had said, if Ako's friends died here, she would be able to see them again.

As Shikyo followed Yuina a shiver ran down his spine. He looked around trying to see what caused it. He found nothing. He shook it off, but he knew something wasn't right. He continued down the hallway until he saw a door down an intersecting hallway. "Yuina. Over here." He said as he started into the room. He smiled as there was a weird device at the end of the room along with a weird metal bar. "Yuina I think I found it!" He said as he ran over to it." He went to pull it but stopped. This was an evil school, and this could be a trap. He looked down and picked up the metal bar he saw. It was a rusty old nail puller, he held it in his hand and knew it would be useful one way or another. "Hey Yuina." He said as something changed in the room. "I think this is but... I'm not sure. Something feels weird. You think we should pull it?"

There they were! Shikyo and Yuina! Ako's eyes widened; they were still here, alive and okay! Life hadn't stopped just because Ako had died. They probably didn't even know she was dead. She hated to think what her corpse looked like. Glancing down at the book, she paused where she was. She didn't particularly want them to see her like this- dead, ghostly, scarred. But maybe she could help them escape. She tossed the book at them before darting back round the corner so they couldn't see her. If they came any closer, she'd have to run away.

Akihiro sat there looking at the candle. How is gonna explain this to everyone else? To be told that their friend died, and they don't know that she was moving. He sighed and sat against the wall. He pulled out his cell phone. Half battery life, the time was going all over the place and no cell service. He figured that much.

He went to his photos and found a picture of him and Ako. It was just them making funny faces while doing research for something. And that was just last month, the best and most recent photo if them. "I'm sorry. May you rest in peace my friend, my love." He said holding back tears. He set the photo as his background and he put it back in his pocket.

"I know what you mean by the weird feeling." She looked anxiously around the room and, seeing nothing else of interest, she looked back at the strange mechanism. "I guess we should pull it. It could be the only way to keep going." Like in a game, she thought.

(Oh, like you and I didn't already kick the hell out of the fourth wall.)

Shikyo nodded his head and pulled the lever. He heard noises from above him and heard a clicking noise from down the way they came. Shikyo started towards the door but stopped. A book laid near his feet, he bent down and picked it up. He could make out the word diary on it, but when he tried to open it he couldn't. He shrugged it off and set it on a desk in the hallway as he he made his way out. "Lets go see if that made some sort of bridge back near the hole." He said as he neared the corner. He turned the corner and his face lit up with happiness. "Yuina! It worked theres a bridge!" The he looked passed the bridge and his heart stopped for a second. A strange mass of flesh laid at the bottom of the stairs, wearing a familiar uniform. Shikyo ran forward across the planks that had been raised up from nowhere and knelt next to the body. The body was sliced cleanly as if with some sort of wire. Its black hair lay in a pool of blood and pieces of the corpse's face. Shikyo's eye's where wide with terror and fear. "No No No. Please No." He said as he reached into the bodies pockets to find Its ID. He didn't find the ID but what he did find made him realize what had happened. He pulled the piece of paper out of the corpse's pocket and looked at it. It was folded carefully and was in perfect condition, as if it was just torn out of a notebook. With shaking hands he opened the paper. His eyes began to tear, and he dropped the drawing onto the floor where it laid open for all to see. Shikyo looked down and let his tears fall onto his drawing of Ako as he realized his friends fate.

(Told you they'd find her corpse)

Ako's heart would've stopped if it hadn't already done earlier. She had followed her friends from the room and to the bottom of the stairs. Keeping out of sight, she saw it. Her horribly mangled body was lying at the bottom of the stairs and it was being stared at.

"DON'T LOOK AT ME!" Ako screamed. She didn't want them to see her body. She didn't want anybody to see her body or her ghostly form. She was so ashamed of how horribly mutilated both of them were.

Yuina eyed the paper Shikyo threw on the floor and was stricken. "Oh, god," Yuina stammered. "Oh, god no. No! Why?" Her back collided with the wall as she backed up. She slid to the floor, her eyes wide with shock and her fingers trembling. Sweat began trickling down her back just as tears slid down her cheeks. I'm so sorry Ako, she thought.

Akihiro sighed after a long moment of silence. He stood up and stretched. He could've sworn that he heard Ako yelling. He shook his head. "Impossible." He headed deeper into the uknown half of this god forsaken place. This place was so dark, creepy, and so quiet when you're by yourself. Good god the silence, it was so unaturally quite. He sighed and felt tears but he held it back. "Why Ako? Why did you do it? I should've told her about my crush, maybe that might have stopped her." He whispered to himself. Then he kept walking.

Time had passed in Heavenly Host Elementary and Ako had began to put two and two together. The girl who had pushed her down the stairs had to be Sachiko, the girl she'd read about. She knew enough about to spirits to know that they always haunted the place she died and Sachiko had died in Heavenly Host. Whilst Ako wasn't hellbent on getting revenge, she'd like to meet Sachiko and ask her if maybe, just maybe, she could kill Ako's friends. Because Ako couldn't bring herself to do it. But she needed them to die. Then, she'd be able to see them again.

"Sachi-chan?" she called, wandering about the corridors of the school, "Sachiko? Sachiko, we beg of you?" She'd been looking for a while but was yet to find the girl anywhere.
