Complexities of The Opposing

He smiled at her, feeling sorry for those she fought. "You're right, I am not as annoying as I usually am. Believe me, I am a trouble maker up there." He said, chuckling as he remembered those times. "Although I am not sure what happened. Maybe you're just a good influence to me, making me a good boy." He teased, hoping she would notice the irony. "Anyway, my wing is still numb, although the bleeding finally stopped, it might be healed in a week. And you're right, I am going to be in big trouble." He said, lying down and placing his head on her lap, feeling really comfortable about the situation.

She chuckled at his comments. Its true that she was a demon and liked to indulged in debachery but more often than not she was all kill and no play. Somehow having this....she stopped her thoughts. Helena wasn't one to think too deeply into things. Although he leaned his heas on her lap and they both were comfortable it was too much to try to decode what this was or how she felt about it.

" Honey, I am a demon. I can't you into a good boy but I can certainly turn you into a bad boy. Perhaps thats what you were meant for this whole time." She said smirking. She unconsciously stroked his hair. Maybe this wasn't so bad after all. Too bad he had to go home soon.

He smiled, feeling her stroke his hair. Maybe she's not that bad. He's knows that demons are evil, but this one is different, she almost seems to care about him. He sighs in content. "Well, maybe I am supposed to be a bad boy, but you're being a good girl yourself. Maybe we were exchanged." He said, chuckling. "Well, if you don't mind, I think I'll be staying here for quite a long time, even after my wings have healed." He said, making up his mind.

She closed her eyes and thought about what he said. Its true she was beginning to enjoy his company but he was youth and innocence. She was a demon there was no way any type of relationship would work not even a friendship. Besides, he was nice and all but not really her type. Why was she trying to justify this to herself? Ugh...these feelings were so confusing. It was better for her not to indulge too much in something that could not happen.

"You know you will never be able to stay here blondie. You are an angel or youth and innocence no less. I am a demon. We are supposed to hate each other you know. When you get back they will wipe your memory or clip your wings. Either way, its nice while it lasted but its better for you if you don't mention me."

He closed his eyes, comfortable in her prescence. In a way, Sebastian had never felt this comfortable, not even in the prescence of the other angels. Even though life there is very luxurious, he felt quite out of place. Here, he feels cozy and snug, more so because Helena is here, even if she is a demon. It seems that she might have grown on him.

"Yeah, I know what they will do. I've seen some of those memory wiping, but I don't think anyone got their wings torn of ever since the rebellion. But, of what you say is true, then I might as well enjoy my time here. If you don't mind, I'd like to stay, even if it's just for 1 year." He said, looking at her hopefully.

"You do realize that you would be committing treason right? To the highest degree. And for what? To frolic with a demon? You must be joking." She chuckled darkly. Again his naivete had left her speechless as she tried to understand the situation. Perhaps killing him would have been the better choice since he became attached.

"I take pleasure in bloodbaths and sadism. I kill on a daily basis. I do most of these things for money and amusement. But above all else. I am a demon. A tainted being who dwells in sin. Why stay when you could just go back and forget? Are you daft?"

He chuckled, seeing her point. She's right of course. What reason does he has to stay here? Back up there, he had everything. The adoration of others, beautiful female angels who liked him, the approval of his mentors, a comfortable life. Everything was given to him, but, this maybe the reason. All his life was already made even before he had a clue what happened. He never made a decision which was his own. Maybe that is why he wants to stay, to stay because that is what he would be told not to do. "I don't know. Something about this place, something about you, makes me feel cozy, comfortable...safe." He said, looking at her. "And besides, if you truly are a demon as vile and bloodthirsty as you claim to be, why spare me? And better yet, why be concerned about my welfare?"

"That's true I could just kill you now." She said smiling gleefully. That had been a thought that had been treading lightly in the back of her mind. Why hadn't she killed him? Him living with her was not particularly amusing. Unless she thought of him as a pet. Yes! That is exactly what it was. Though that answer didn't necessarily feel right, it was the answer she could think of that would help explain what she felt at the moment towards him.

"Maybe I just think of you like a pet. I mean, I always wanted a hellhound but they just are such a bitch to train. I don't really have the time for all of that with my schedule. So you are the next best thing. A full blown angel that I wounded and nursed back to health doesn't that better define it? You are my pet thats why you are comfortable and feel safe." She said haughtily. Why over think things? That had to be the truth right? She felt relieved. That totally defined them. So she thought.

He smiled, amused at him being her pet. Of all things, a pet?! He truly found it laughab.e, but quite endearing, in a weird and twisted way. Well, why not play along with her game? "A pet huh? I might want to try it out." He said, slyly looking at her. "Do I have to wear a collar? Do I need to be trained? Should i call you Mistress? Do I need to bark?" He ask, cutely barking at her. "I might give it a try you know." He said, smiling.

Helena could only smile a bit. He seemed to accept the title better than she thought. "Well you can start by cleaning and cooking. No collar unless you want to wear a shock collar. That might be interesting to see." She said deviously. Barking and calling her mistress. Ridiculous. She didn't need any of that sort of thing. That was saved for her weaker, more human indulgences and she had a bit of respect for the man who had wounded her and caused her to flee a fight. "And if not, I will find an appropriate punishment. Maybe I will spoon feed you something of the demon world." She said maliciously.

He smiled. Even he cannot believe what he was doing. He was offering to be a demon's pet! But, he feels really comfortable with it, he actually wants it more than to go back to being a guard. "Sure. Tell me what I need to do, I will do it." He said with a smug expression, knowing he can handle it. "And I'm sure I can handle whatever it is you will spoon feed me, as long as you spoon feed me." He said, smiling flirtatiously.

This was absurd. Was he actually agreeing with her terms? And for what, no reason but comfortability? What an obnoxious angel. "Yeah sure you will," she said rolling her eyes,"I will just feed you ceberus food."

While she appreciated the gesture she was a bit concerned as to what he planned. How was he going to hide his aura once he returned to full strength? How was he going to go outside? Was he just going to stay in her big house shackled up? Maybe i should have taken him up on the collar give him shackles too. She licked her lips unconsciously lost in thought. "So you plan to wear those sane clothes for a year? You are going to smell like a wasteland. Actually you already are starting to smell." She said pinching her nose.

He sniffed himself. "Okay, I do smell, but not that bad! I never knew demons are so squeamish" He said as he stood up, smiling at Helena. "Why do you keep using others to get rid of me? You keep saying that it's treason and all those nonsense, but you can make me leave if you want to." He said, heading to the bathroom. He took a quick shower, and having nothing else to wear, he just wrapped a towel around his waist. "So, do you want me to stay or not?"

"I-" she had no witty retort or smart ass comeback. It was a question that she was avoiding the answer to mostly because she herself didn't know how she felt. "Its not that I don't want you to stay," she said slowly, "But i would not abandon my duty for 'comfort'. I just want a better answer than I want to stay because I feel comfortable here." There she said it. She wasn't sure what answer she was finish for od what she thought he should say but Helena was a go with the flow kinda person and she was convinced it was more than that. "And I am not squeamish i just have heightened senses. You minor funk was offensive to my nose. And here," she threw a pair of cargo pants on, "Stop showing off."

He smiled, feeling really touched. She actually cared for him, she even cared for his duties. "Why, you don't like what you see?" He ask, putting on the pants. "Yeah, I know it's a lame reason. But, I don't know, I feel really at home here, with you." He said, blushing. "Yeah, I know you're a demon, but somehow I feel like I've known you for a long time, even though you did try to kill me." He said, remembering their fight. "But, if you really want me to go, I will." He said, smiling at her.

Helena just turned around back to him as he put on his pants and he spoke. "Do what you want just don't blame me when Michael comes down to rip your wings out. He's a ruthless bastard." She could feel slight heat in her face. Was she blushing? How unusual. It wasn't as if this was her first rodeo. And he was just an angel. There was nothing sexy about his powerful eyes and silky blonde hair. WAIT. STOP. Her mind was wondering and she refused to be caught up in those thoughts. Besides he was always around angel women who are equally as beautiful. And while she was beautiful in her own right, it wasn't angelic. Sigh, why was she worrying about that sort of bullshot. Keep focused. He's not her type. She liked them cool and calculating not shy and bumbling. "I am going out to buy you clothes. Even though you'll be stuck inside. At least you won't stink." She needed to clear her head.

"Yeah, Michael can be quite a pain in the ass." He said, chuckling. Michael really is like that from time to time, especially when he loses his temper, but he'll make up after that. He looked at her and he saw her blushing. Was she really blushing, because of him?! Oh boy, this is new. It's not everyday you see a demon blushing for an angel, especially one you just fought. He smiled, feeling really flattered. Oh sure angel women liked him, but that's because they've been together for a long time, and besides, they're not Helena. "Okay, just don't report me okay?" He jokes, seeing her go.

Helena just waved as she left out. Now she was officially harborong a fugitive very demon like but very unloyal seeing as she was harboring her technical mortal enemy. She sighed. No way she would be able to do this for a whole year. At some point, those angel fuckers were gonna come looking for him and what should she do? Should she fight to protect him or just let them take him? Does she really want him gone? No...she thought. But its the right thing to do since he is from heaven. She made up her mind and walked into the mall.

She shopped for clothes, shoes, and got him a phone in case of emergency. She actually made pretty good money doing her job. As long as she didn't slack, she got paid. By the time she was done, she had spent 500 dollars and had quite a few bags. At times like this she used a portal instead of walking. Headed towards a dadk alley, she drew the symbols and a portal appeared, walking through it she was in her living room. Sitting all the packages down, she looked at Sebastian and said,"Try it on and let me know. If it fits its yours oh and here," tossing him the android,"In case of emergencies."

"What's this?" He ask, having never seen a phone before. "How do you use this thing?" He ask again, just seeing it as a piece of..something. It was different, in more ways than one. He returned it to her. "Here, keep it until I've learned how to use it." He said, smiling at her. He saw the clothes she bought. "Okay, so I'll change here then." He said, removing his shirt and proceeding to remove his pants, grinning at her.

(Sorry for the short post, gotta sleep. Night!)

Helena sighed and tried to ignore as he changes she kept her eyes looking in his and glared. He acts like he knows what he is doing. "Anyway this is a cell phone it sends radiowaves out to other phones in order to make calls while you are not around people. In case you need to leave for any reason and get lost or whatever. I put my number in there already." She tossed it at him.

He took the phone, still having no idea what to do. But, he figured out the on and off button and that is enough for him. "Okay, thanks. The clothes fit perfectly." He said, smiling at her. He sat down the couch, looking at her. "What now? I'm sure you've got something we could do?" He ask, bored. (Sorry for the short post, gonna go to sleep.)

((G'nite))

"What you are bored now? I don't entertain you do the amusing." She said scoffing. She rolled her eyes. Well she had very little use for things that amuse her indoors but maybe a card game. "You know how to play cards, Bas?" She got up and grabbed a deck of playing cards. "This might amuse us for a bit. The loser has to answer a question from the winner."

He nodded. "Sure." He said, looking at her. "What have I got to lose anyway?" He thought, thinking he can beat her. Well that really didn't work out well. Sebastian was utterly defeated. Okay, maybe he kinda don't know how to play cards. "What's your question?" He ask, sighing.

"Hmm," she said playfully. She could ask him a plethora of things and truth be told there were many things that she wanted to know that he might answer. Her eyes danced thoughtfully as she questioned what to ask him. "How about this? Do you think I am special or do you think that what transpired between us could have happened with any demon, if they rescued you?" Truthfully, she just wanted to know why the hell did he decide he wanted to stay. It was blasphemous on his part but it was bewildering on hers. 'Just give me a straight answer already.' she thought to herself.

"I have not met any demon before, but I think you have something special in you." He said, not hesitating to answer the question. "I mean, I'm not an expert on them, but I'm pretty sure they won't spare my life. You did, you even allowed me to stay." (Sorry for the short post. Gotta go to class.)
