Common Sense [Closed]

“Fairy Tail is so cool! I can’t believe I get to meet two of you today.”

"Two of us? I believe you've met three Fairy Tail wizards," Gurren replied with three fingers raised. "How can you forget about Laxus when he watches over this town?" he asked with a lopsided grin. Gurren returned Hikari's cute smile with his own warm one. She seemed like a friendly girl. An attractive one too. Luckily for her Gurren wasn't one of those guys who easily fell in love, otherwise he would have tried a Loke move. If it wasn't obvious by Gurren's fiery demeanor, he shared more in common with Natsu; he was more interested in fighting and forming bonds than wooing women.

"Is there somewhere privater we can talk?" he asked Hikari. "I'm sure the Magic Council would want things hush-hush." Gurren let out a sigh. "But if you ask me, I'd rather be doing than standing around."

Drake Silver

Drake let out a sigh as he remained in his spot silently listening to the other conversations. After a small bit he decided to take out his own request page and reread it. When he did he noticed something which he gave a small nod to before folding the paper and placing it back in his pocket. He did a short stretch as he drifted over to a random book shelf and once again started to observe the books that resided there.

As he did this the toy crow that was in his pocket flew out and once again started playing around harmlessly, entertaining him along with a few easy going customers. Snickering a bit Drake took hold of a magazine that the crow had snatched from a costumer and with a minuscule apology returned it. "You should reread the request." He stated as he now started to stroll over to the group. "We were told to meet here at one. It never said a thing about the her being the one who requested us..." Keeping a stoic look as the crow zig zagged all over the store for genuine reason.

Turning his gaze to Hikari he gave her a curt nod before he turned his back to everyone but his fellow Raven Tail. "It seems we jumped the gun by asking her... We need to be patient. I'm not certain how this city looks at mages since I have never been here before.... However... I don't believe it's in our best interest to just waltzing in here and claiming we are part of a guild. For a multitude of reasons." Shrugging he held out his hand and the crow landed on it a small book, which it was holding by the cover now in it's mouth. "That's just my opinion...." He muttered calmly his attention now on the tiny toy crow and the book.

Nishka Zharim

The journey to Hargeon had been quite pleasant, and the young lady smiled, looking back at the ship that had carried her to the lovely old port town. With a wave, she turned back to the city. She set off into the city, and merged with the crowd. She spoke with a few civilians, inquiring on where the bookstore was located. She popped into a cafe, simply to check the time, and then continued to search for Hikari's bookstore, this time in a bit more of a hurry. She had arrived in Hargeon later than planned, and as such, needed to get there soon. After a few minutes more of searching, she came upon the bookstore. A bright smile graced her face, and she opened the door. Her azure eyes settled on the group gathered, and she joined it, and caught a bit of speech.

''It seems we jumped the gun by asking her... We need to be patient. I'm not certain how this city looks at mages since I have never been here before....

However... I don't believe it's in our best interest to just waltzing in here and claiming we are part of a guild. For a multitude of reasons."

Her gaze traveled to the man who had spoken, then around the gathered mages. She turned her gaze to the clerk they were, obviously speaking to, and smiled. She, simply because she had entered late and was a little lost on what they were discussing, settled for remaining at the back of the group for the time being. She was, however, glad that this mission would be completed as a group, a team. She'd introduce herself, to those she didn't already know, after they were done discussing whatever they needed to discuss with the clerk, or quite possibly, the owner of the store.

Soren Peres

Soren remained standing in the back of the group while he observed the others in the group sort out the problem. While he did agree with the statement that they had not specifically been hired by Hikari, he remembered reading about it as soon as another mage brought it up, he did not say anything about it because it really seemed as though enough of the mages had been repeating each other. For him to do it, would only add to the repetition.

The fact that he was standing in the back was probably part of what allowed him to observe as yet another person appeared to be joining their mission - a girl - shorter with black hair. As the Lamia Scale mage took in his sense of her magic using his own magic, he was slightly pleased to see that now the standings were more even. More people within the level of his own capabilities had joined the group and he was no longer concerned about the possibility of being a liability. That concern had never once crossed his expression, but it had been present nonetheless within his mind.

That being said, the teleporter’s eyes once again scanned over the group that was supposed to be his team on this mission as they all stared seemingly dumbfounded at Hikari, the shopkeeper. They may be strong as far as magic is concerned, but as far as intelligence goes, it appears we could all use some work.

Hikari smiled warmly at Serafina, as if comforting the girl on her mistake. As the Mermaid Heel mage moved to exit, Serafina would see the bookstore emptier than it once was. At least half of the patrons from a couple minutes ago had already disappeared.

A couple leaned into each other by the door, holding hands and carrying a filled book bag as they exited the store. They kissed, and the woman’s hands moved to stroke her man’s broad chest. He tenderly stroked her hair in return. The two separated with a laugh, holding each other intimately in the middle of the open door.

They departed with a loving farewell kiss, and if Serafina were perceptive enough to notice tiny details, she might’ve seen subtle sleight of hand between them. From the woman’s fingers to the man’s passed a small slip of paper. The man’s eyes had dashed over to Serafina and the mages for a brief second before covertly accepting the slip, but all else was obscured. Moments later they were out of sight, gone.

Serafina then heard Willow’s voice call out towards her to return.

@Violet Obsidian

“I do,” Hikari answered Spade with a nod, though not much else.

She then turned to address Willow. “And you’re right about sticking together. I don’t know much about wizards, but I know my job would be a lot harder if I didn’t have my helper.”

Shivering, the brunette grimaced at the thought. “Scratch that, it is a lot harder without my helper,” she corrected herself.

@Gabauchi @Tulani

“Anyway!” Hikari continued. She winked towards Gurren in acknowledgement of his joke. “You’re right about finding a quiet place. This isn’t the best place to talk about that.”

@shadowdude505

Hikari gestured for the mages to follow her to a door at the back of the bookstore. Along the way, she subtly drifted beside Drake and Nishka. Before Drake knew it, the request had been snatched out of his pocket and was now before the brunette’s focused eyes.

“It says right here that the Magic Council requested you,” Hikari observed. She adjusted her glasses and pulled the request paper closer.

“Do you not read your mission requests before you take them?” Hikari burst into giggles, lips curling up alongside her twinkling eyes and the bounce of her chest. “It’s okay if you don’t, I just think it’s really funny! Not in a bad way, but like, in an impressive way. Impulsive people are really cool.”

The brunette wrapped her arm around Nishka’s shoulder and pulled the girl close enough to feel Hikari’s body and warmth. Yet, despite proximity to the brunette’s mild body heat, Nishka could still feel a cold shiver tingle up her spine.

“What do you think? You just came in, right? You think this guy’s the impulsive type?” she asked, and though the questions came in rapid fire, they were more familiar than pressing. Like a good friend catching up after a long time. “Oh, I didn’t catch your name by the way. I’m Hikari!”

Watched as Hikari moved about like a social butterfly, addressing several of the group in turn. Willow seemed pleased at least someone else wished Serafina to stick around, and spoke up about it. Regardless, with the offer of a more private room to be used, Willow seemed quite relieved. She didn't much care for this cluster, the group had formed in the store front, and in many ways Drake was indeed right. Without much city knowledge, besides what Willow was able to find out before her hastened departure, being in this city could easily be akin to shark infested waters. Heck, who is to say everyone here is actually part of the task. It was not like we all whipped out our request forms like billfolds.

Willow still seemed slightly embarrassed about the slight awkwardness of earlier. For her first guild task, this was not going to her higher standard she preferred. Willow ever since cleaning up her act was the type to constantly put way to much pressure on herself.The signs of this tension were clear because of her slightly furrowed brow and fidgety hands. She still seemed attentive and calm, but her head was clearly on another train of thought as she fallowed behind Hikari. Willow could only wonder if her magical ability would benifit this clearly large group.

"Only time will tell," she haplessly muttered to herself as she rubbed the back of her neck

Serafina Dunlar

As the group continued to grow, Serafina grew more and more uncomfortable with the situation as it was. She wasn’t much of a people person and she really didn’t want to see anyone get hurt; however, her anxiety lessened as she saw one of her guildmates walk into the bookstore - Nishka. Serafina’s expression became a smile for the slightest moment before some of her anxiety returned although it was not as severe. She turned around and decided that some of the mages had been right - it was a good idea to stick together and it seemed that this Hikari did know something which might help them along in their mission from the Magic Council.

“Nis…” Serafina had been about to say hello to her guildmate when Hikari walked over and wrapped her arm around Serafina’s fellow Mermaid Heel mage. Serafina jumped back, surprised and very intimidated by the bookkeeper's outwardly social manner. She even went so far as to allow them to walk ahead of her, giving them a few steps before she started walking because she did not want to be so close to someone so frivolous. If she wasn’t careful, the bookkeeper might do the same thing to her and Serafina really didn’t want to hurt this woman who seemed like she could be a really nice lady.

It seemed that Serafina was to stick around for now although her demeanor had once again returned to something more shy and withdrawn since the one person she had to talk to had been stolen from her by Hikari. Her eyes flickered over the other mages in the group, wondering if this woman who was going to help them out made any of them uncomfortable as well.

Willow wasn't to surprised to find Serafina didn't directly respond to her. The girl seemed oddly meek for a wizard; but, they do come in all flavors so it wasn't too surprising. When she seemed to rejoin the group that was gratifying enough to Willow and she would let the woman be. She did notice the slight mishap with the other Mermaid Heel member as Hikari roped her up. Either way once we were all in the backroom Willow was determined to find out more about these other wizards. Unlike most, Willows magical prowess was really dependent on knowing what her allies could do. Willow could only hope they would be forthe coming when she proposed the question.

She would offer a kind smile to Serafina as if just to reassure her that though Willow was a stranger, she could talk to her. Willow was happy for Serafina and her guild-mate, as well as the two fairytale members. Having a guild-mate along, even if they are an unfamiliar face sounded great. Truthfully Willow didn't know to many people at her guild... she was kinda lonely for that fact alone.

@Violet Obsidian

Of course Gurren reads his mission requests. He had to know what kind of trouble was going on. Gurren had a hunch that the impulsive person Hikari was talking about was him. Maybe he didn't read a lot of the instructions for the missions he chose, but up till now the requests were a lot more straight forward. From where he stood Hikari seemed like an equally impulsive person, but more on the social side than being fired up to fight injustice and chaos.

"This is my first job for the council. Seems like they like to complicate their missions," Gurren said as he followed Hikari toward the backroom. Looking over at all the wizards that would be his team mates for the mission, Gurren noticed Willow's frigidity hands. He placed a hand on her shoulder and flashed a confident, lopsided grin; treating the woman as though she was his own guildmate.

Willow blinks in surprise as she felt a hand on her shoulder. She jerks her gaze about seeing the first person she met, the enjoyable hothead from Fairytail. Willow returned the smile in turn patting his hand as if to express she was alright. Once it was removed she spoke a bit quieter; but, with enough zeal to make her seem happier. "Go team Gurren." she chuckles bemusedly with a soft smile after.

Willow would slow down to walk at a pace equal to Gurren's and looks to the other Fairytail member then back to Gurren as she spoke. "So you two work together before?" Willow would nod in the direction of Spades. The way she spoke made it seem like she had other questions, but was holding them back for the moment. Either way, her motives seemed innocent enough and she carried herself with the utmost courtesy. She was clearly unaware of how informal most Fairytail guild members were, making her air of caution a bit pointless.

Nishka Zharim

Nishka watched the clerk, as she spoke to many of the mages in turn. When the group started moving towards a more private room, the young mermaid heel mage stayed with them. The clerk walked next to her, in between her and another mage.

“It says right here that the Magic Council requested you,”

Eyes on the clerk now, she watched as the lady snagged a mission paper. She pulled out her own paper, and reread it, confirming for herself the information she had already known. She nodded, and pocked the paper again.

“Do you not read your mission requests before you take them? It’s okay if you don’t, I just think it’s really funny! Not in a bad way, but like, in an impressive way. Impulsive people are really cool.”

The woman started to laugh, between both streams of words, and her eyes twinkled behind her glasses. Nishka resisted the urge to laugh with her, not wanting to offend the others. Nishka blinked slightly as the woman placed her arm around her neck, and pulled her close. A brief shiver tingled up her spine, despite the woman's mildly warm body heat. Her eyes drifted to Serafina as they walked past her, and she shot her a very apologetic smile.

“What do you think? You just came in, right? You think this guy’s the impulsive type?”

The woman launched the stream of questions at her, in rapid fire. She opened her mouth to answer, but closed it again as the woman spoke again. Her eyes drifted slightly to the man next to them, then back to the woman.

“Oh, I didn’t catch your name by the way. I’m Hikari!”

Nishka smiled, and adjusted her hand so Hikari could shake it if she wished. "I don't know... Maybe he is.. Maybe not." She started by answering Hikari's questions, her voice as cheery as ever. "Hikari... Nice name!~ It's very pretty." She commented about the woman's name, with bright smile. "I'm Nishka. It's very nice to meet you." The girl finished, still smiling.

Soren Peres

The Lamia Scale mage remained in the back of the group even as they started walking towards a more private discussion area at Gurren’s suggestion. He really had no interest in getting tangled up in this Hikari person’s outward and obvious social robustness because it really only put off the work that he wanted to get done. That was his job - to complete missions. It was not his job to socialize excessively or make anyone, specifically himself, more uncomfortable than they had to be.

Being in the presence of this powerful book keeper did create its own set of questions though. How did she become a point of contact for the magic council and why is someone so powerful as her running a bookstore here in a city as dangerous as Hargeon? More importantly, what kind of mission could she possibly be sending us on that she can’t do herself? Or is it that she won’t? Is she really so powerful as to be able to refuse the magic council? It seemed that the more questions Soren dared to ask, the more questions he created for himself that didn’t have answers.

Gurren looked over at Spades and flashed the Fairy Tail rookie a grin before turning his attention back to Willow. "First time actually," he replied with a fiery smile. "He may be new to the guild, but our bond as Fairy Tail wizards is strong." As Gurren talked he could barely contain his fiery energy and formed a small, flaming Fairy Tail logo in the palm of his right hand. Even though he knew nothing about Spade's personality, he figured they'd easily get along. Fairy Tail members may have varied personalities, but they all tended to fall on one extreme or another; although there can be exceptions. Gurren's flame logo turned into small sparks and disappeared as he turned back to Spades. "I can't wait to see your magic in action," he said full of enthusiasm.

@Tulani @Gabauchi

Willow smiled brightly seeing Gurren's enthusiasm. She had atleast gotten a better understanding of what kind of magics Gurren worked with; however, it would seem asking him about the other fairytail wizards magic would be pointless. She hoped there would be an opportunity to learn everyone's magics before the meat and potatoes of the job. Fact of the matter was Willow, though an A ranked wizard, truly had little power by herself. Knowledge was a key factor to how she would be able to support this seemingly diverse group. As tactically thinking as she was, the unknowns just simply bothered her.

Willow would look to Gurren and grin, "I can see what you mean. You certainly do have a ambition and drive I don't see in people to often. It's refreshing." Willow would offer a nod to Spades and a small waive as to not be impolite. Unless Spades or Gurren spoke back to her, Willow would remain silent till in the back room.

Drake Sliver

Drake let out a sigh as he watched the girl ramble on. He partially ignored her as his eyes move to the customers that were dispersing from the store. 'This city.... I won't be shocked if someone tried to mug me the moment I step out of here... This place is completely iffy.' He thought as he put away the small book and placed the toy crow back in his pocket. He didn't say a thing as he observed patiently waiting for this meeting to happen assuming they all weren't in some sort of trap. He placed his hands in his pocket, his right hand barely brushing against his keys as he remained on guard. 'I'm probably being overly cautious.... Still something doesn't sit well with me...'

Serafina Dunlar

Serafina hesitated as Nishka walked by, but she managed a smile at her guildmate although Nishka wouldn't see that the smile quickly faded once she was walking behind the group. In truth, Serafina was really too shy and timid to really say anything to the book keeper about having whisked away her only friend here although she really wished she could bring herself to do it. This mission wouldn't go too well if she was on her own, and Serafina knew that much quite well.

As she walked at the back of the little crowd they had gathered for this mysterious mission for the magic council, another woman fell towards the back as well. She looked friendly enough and Serafina knew that she would need to get to know this group sooner or later. It would be much easier to get to know them individually, one at a time. Too many people at once would simply be overwhelming.
"Hello?" Serafina began, her statement sounding more like a question. "I believe... I hope I remember it right... you said your name was Willow, right?"

"You were talking... talking to Gurren about Fairy Tail... right? Are you from a guild?"
Serafina wasn't quite sure if she was saying the right things. Is this how you start a conversation, she couldn't help but wonder. "I'm... I"m from M... Mermaid Heel... with Nishka up there." The shy woman pointed ahead to the woman Hikari had swept away previously.

@SummerWolf @Tulani

Willow smiled as Serafina was talking to her. It wasn't for lack of trying; but Willow had tried starting a conversation before this point. She assumed the shy girl must have some serious anxiety issues. Willow decided not to be bothered about that, or the fact she should have all ready have known her guild from when they first talked. She played it off like this was the first conversation they had so she wouldn't feel awkward.

"Indeed I was talking to Gurren, and yes I am. I'm from Silver Phoenix. A smaller guild compared to Fairytail and Mermaid Heel to be sure." she smiled genuinely to Serafina. "So shot in the dark here, no pun intended but are you a guns and lightning wizard, Serafina?" She spoke that part so only Serafina could here, in case the lightning part was a secret. "I noticed a small spark when we talked earlier."

Willow seemed a bit curious as the idea of duel magics always interested her. This was especially in the way the two always seem to be fused together. She could imagine electric bullets for some reason; but, that may just be a fantasy.

Serafina Dunlar

Serafina’s expression quickly became one of sheer terror as Willow mentioned having seen her lightning magic upon their first meeting. “You saw that?” It was a whisper, but the words were definitely there. Serafina was, however, able to regain some composure and her expression quickly settled on something that could be considered calm and it was probably as close to calm as would ever be possible for the introverted Mermaid Heel mage.

“Well, I su…suppose you could say that. I… I am primarily a guns mage. The lightning… I…. it…” It wasn’t that Serafina was afraid to describe it. She wanted to. She just didn’t know how to put her lightning magic’s chaos into any set of coherent words.

Serafina did have one idea, though; there was one way to demonstrate. She reached out, timidly at first. She even pulled her hand back, almost thinking it would be better not to show Willow. However, she needed someone to know. Serafina’s hand gently brushed up against a strand of Willow’s hair. She didn’t grab onto it and the contact was barely existent. However, the effect was instantaneous. The small strand that had been gently lying on Willow’s face poofed up as a small zap was audible – like the pop of static, only slightly more dramatic. Willow would be able to feel the static flowing through her hair as it drew itself closer to the skin on her face.

“Um… sorry,” Serafina mumbled as she realized that her action may have been rude to do without asking. “I can’t control it. It just flows… Its why I can’t…” her eyes flickered down to Willow’s hand remembering that the mage had offered a handshake when they first met. “I don’t want to hurt anyone.”

@Tulani

Hikari shut the backroom door with a click. Inside, you find yourself in a small conference room, lit by bright, fluorescent light.

Like the bookstore, various trinkets lines shelves filled with books along the walls. Paintings, murals, banners, and other exotic decorations filled up the rest of the blank space, barely leaving any bare wall in sight.

A round wooden table dominated the center of the room, surrounded by a few leather chairs and couches, all of varying shapes, sizes, and conditions. The organized chaos dispelled any notions of formality you might’ve had; the room was a neat mess that seemed far more lived in and welcoming than the uniform industrialization outdoors.

Hikari spoke out loud once everyone entered, including a derisive, peeved young woman who the brunette had just dragged in. @Atom

Adelaide has been forcibly pulled inside the conference room; however, Hikari appears to not have noticed the crumpled piece of paper you stole, or decided not to confiscate it

“You said you wanted to see Ice Breaker?” Hikari smiled dangerously. “He’s a very busy man, and doesn’t appreciate people wasting his time. Fortunately for you, the Magic Council has already paid in full. Sit tight and you’ll see him soon.”

Kuroko.Tetsuya.full.1115340.jpg
Cheerfully, the brunette skirted away with barely-hidden clumsiness. She stumbled once over her two feet upon opening the door, but made an evident attempt to conceal her blunder best she could--that is, not very well.

After Hikari shut the door behind her, the lights inside the conference room disappeared. You found yourself trapped in absolute blackness for a brief moment.

Then, a blue light appeared. From the center of the table a lacrima emerged, and from it the ghostly blue holographic projection of a young man.

His azure hair cast long shadows across an uninteresting, dull face, without any particular stand-out features. You instinctively dismiss his appearance as forgettable, only catching sight of his blank, phlegmatic expression and half-hearted wave.

“Hi. I’m the Icebreaker, but I prefer being called Kolte. Did you need something?” he asked. His voice’s inflections remained a constant monotone throughout.

Unless you’re perceptive or paranoid enough to notice your tiny, subconscious habits, you will immediately forget Kolte’s face, appearance, and voice the moment you leave

Serafina Dunlar

The Mermaid Heel mage jumped ever so slightly when a hologram appeared out of the darkness on the table because it was one of the last things she had been expecting. Hesitantly and a bit rushed, she pulled out the job request because she really didn't want to mess something up again like they had last time. "E-Excuse me. S-S-Sir. It... it says here that we're supposed to shut down... comm.. the printing of the pamphlet Common Sense. C-can you...help us find it? We weren't really given any other directions on what to do." Serafina was clearly hesitant as she spoke, not because she was nervous, persay, but because she was uncomfortable in general speaking to important people and it seemed that this man was important.

Her head trickled back down to the job request in her hand, her eyes scanning it over to see if there was anything else she should include. While her eyes didn't find anything important that she felt she ought to mention, Serafina saw something odd. There was a point on the job request where it referred to "Ice Breaker" as a female.... it said 'her services'. Serafina wasn't one to say anything on the matter, though. Her eyes remained focused on the paper in her hand.

Gurren took a moment to soak in the office atmosphere, taking a couple seconds to stare at the works of art that decorated the office. "Thanks, Hikari," Gurren said before she left. He quickly took a seat in one of the leather chairs. He didn't expect the lights to go out and the room was momentarily lit by the soft glow of his fire until Ice Breaker's hologram appeared. Kolte seemed like a normal guy in the most boring way possible. "It's as my friend already stated," he said. "The Magic Council directed us to you for information on Common Sense."

It probably would have been a lot quicker if the council had filled them in on what they needed to know. Maybe they actually didn't know anything for once, but Gurren had a small hunch that they did. It didn't matter now though, Team Gurren had already found Ice Breaker.

Just before Hikari opened the door Willow would look rather taken back, by no means did she look upset at what Serafina had done. She just seemed a bit wordless. That confusion carried over to entering the room where she would attempt to get her hair to go back in place. It eventually did and the room cascaded from orange to blue and the man. "Wait a man?" she thought. To Willows knowledge she thought ice breaker was meant to be a woman. It didn't matter much, if this was a trap it was all ready sprung. Serafina decided to speak first fallowed by Gurren. Willow decided her two cents would only bombard the icebreaker as he was called so she would observe in quite.

Well mostly quite, Willow did move near Serafina and smile to her a moment speaking a few words to reassure her about the earlier situation. "I get it, we're cool. Thank you for telling me.. that stuff can be important to know." only those good of hearing would be able to hear Willow's whisper. She had yet to share with either Gurren or Serafina her magics; not out of spite mind you, just rather... hers got complicated and she would need a moment. Which of course the current moment sure as heck was not it.

Drake Silver

Drake entered the room and nearly froze at the sight of the place. He stood there for a moment collecting himself before he scooted to the back of the room. He kept his usual bank face not showing anything was wrong despite the fact he felt slightly sick. He couldn't focus on Hikari or the lacrima as he ran one hand through his hair in a slightly irritated manner .

"This... How can anyone stand this." He muttered to himself as he removed his hand from his head and crossed his arms. 'Stop focusing on the mess, I have a mission to do....But... This... This room. Why are the chairs different? Who in there right mind would stack books like this! Deep breath... It's good... Don't touch anything. As soon as I do I swear I would end up cleaning this entire place....... This mess though!' He took a deep breath and closed his eyes to ignore the sight. Leaning against the wall closet to the door he listened to everything going not looing around knowing what he would do.

Common Sense Kolte yawned. “You want to find where Common Sense is being printed,” he repeated in a bored monotone. “Not a problem.”

With a wave of his hand, words appeared on the holographic display. 1776 Independence Ave.

“You should know that Common Sense is stored and distributed in several locations in Hargeon, but only one of them actually produces the pamphlet. I’ve tracked it down to this address, in the Strauss Borough,” Kolte said. You catch his dull eyes briefly glossing over yours.

“The Magic Council paid me a decent sum, but this information was hard to come by,” Kolte continued. “However, out of the goodness of my heart, I’m willing to give you a few significant details on one aspect of the printing operations.” You had a hard time telling whether his intentions were sincere or sarcastic. His flat tone revealed a whole lot of nothing.

“Tell me, how do you plan to take care of the prints? Stealthily breaking in? Assaulting it in public? Or perhaps you intend to infiltrate through deception?”

From here on out, you have three ways to complete your mission, each option following a different methodology. Your answer to Kolte will significantly help you perform one of these methods. You are not required to actually use the method that you select here, but there will be consequences.

Place your vote at the bottom of your post in bold. I suggest discussing it with your fellow players in chat before you do.

1. Stealth - You will use covert maneuvers to hide yourself or aid your allies in entering the printing location unnoticed. Once in the prime location, you’ll set explosives to destroy the production facility and exit before anyone has a clue.

Objectives:

Stay undetected and quietly creep to critical locations with powerful explosives.

Consequence:

Your reputation will fall to infamy. Others unknown.

2. Assault - Any sense of subtlety is entirely thrown out the window. With your whole party in tow, you will directly siege the production facility with destructive prejudice and aim to take out as much of the equipment, and personnel, as possible.

Objectives:

Successfully fight through the location’s defenses and destroy as much as possible.

Consequences:

Your reputation will fall to infamy. Others unknown.

3. Infiltration - Possibly the most dangerous, but also the least destructive option. You will disguise yourself as a radical and use your cleverness, guile, and trickery to deceive your way into the heart of the production facility, where you will sabotage the printing operations, gather information on these radicals, and signal for the Hargeon Police Department to handle arrests.

Objectives:

Maintain your cover and gather as much information as possible before sabotaging printing operations undetected.

Consequences:

Your reputation will rise to fame. Your risks of failure are much higher. Others unknown

Drake was able to pull his attention from the mess and focus on the licarmia (which he just now noticed). He noted how bored the Ice breaker seemed to be by all of this and honestly had trouble deciphering when the man was being sarcastic or not. He remained silent and waited till the other blue hair male was done speaking. Once the options were given Drake placed a hand on his chin and thought about it. 'I'm best at stealth, so option one or three would be best for me. The second personally seems a bit foolish. There is a good chance there may be powerful mages or at the very least strong non mages who can fight mages... If this place is as important as the Council made it seem, then surely these men would protect it... They could also be prepared... It's easy for one to walk into a guild and see a job request...'
