Realistic or Modern ☕️ Coffee For Your Head ☕️

"Thanks very much," Poppy replies, grabbing the coffee and putting it firmly between her legs as to not spill it, as she wheeled herself to a nearby table. She miraculously makes it without the beverage spilling over. Her table of choice is the one closest to the windows so she can do some people-watching, slowly gathering herself to flip through thick study book pages. Her mildly allergic sniffles slow down as she puts some space between her and the felines frolicking about the cafe, and she breathes a pleasant sigh as caffeine runs through her and the warm ambiance of the cafe soothes her. Finally, some peace.

Richard smiled as the first customer left with their coffee, happy that she seemed to have been served effectively. But he was also smiling because now, that she was served, he could serve the cute blonde. Turning his attention to the customer, Richard smiled. "Sorry for the wait, what can I get you"

Richard paused for a moment, he didn't know much about the snacks; he's focussed mostly on the coffees. But luckily he wasn't the only employee there today. "Just give me a moment, I'll ask about the treats," Richard smiled as he headed into the kitchen. "Nick, um....what treat should go well with the months special?"

Michael continued to sit as a cat curled in his lap. He began to gently pet it when it began rubbing its face on his hands. He became more relaxed as he continued to pet the cat, however he was still achey from the middle of his back down.

As Nick was pouring the brownie mix into a pan, the new hire appeared. He jumped a bit suddenly being called out. Snapping his head to meet his coworker and he smiled back at him. The new guy asked him about the best pastry to pair with the month special. "The... the Raspberry Cinnamon Rolls... is a good choice." His voice was soft but the short boy's still sounded confident in his choice. "I would also recommend our Almond-Cream tarts."

Richard gave a nod that came with a free smile, "I'll be sure to pass that on to the customer," he said happily, "oh and the brownies smell great." Richard then returned to the cute boy, happy that he had some news. "My coworker reccomends the raspberry cinnamon rolls or the almond cream tarts," he answered.

"Coming right up," Richard smiled as he started getting to work on the coffee, putting in a little bit more effort to make it extra delicious. Once completed, Richard grabbed the two deserts from the warming cabinet and happily served everything to the cute blonde. "Enjoy," said happily. That's when he noticed a customer sitting in the corner. Heading over, Richard had a gently smile on his face. "Want something to drink? Or just here to pat cats?" he chuckled, "either is fine."

Michael looked up to answer the employee. "Ive never been here before. Its a really neat idea, Ill be getting a snack in a minute." Michael paused for a brief moment, as he was intrigued by the fact he hadn't heard of the Tiny Paws cafe before, after all, he owned the hobby shop that was practically across the street. "How long have you all been open?"

"Oh um.....I'm actually not to sure myself," Richard said with an embarrassed chuckle as he rubbed the back of his neck, "this is actually my first day here. But I'm certainly glad it is here. I mean what could be better than drinking hot coffee while petting cute kittens"

Poppy fiddles with her hair as she eyes the newcomers with the interest of someone avoiding the homework infront of them. The smell of fresh baked goods filled the air, even from her spot further away, and it brought a smile to her face. She stares at the few cats meowing about, half wanting one of them to come say hi, half dreading the sniffles likely to come. Her coffee burns her tongue a bit, but the barista was absolutely right in his choice -- it was delicious!

His jolly coworker left with a compliment and Nick felt a bit relieved that he seemed friendly. He put the brownies into the oven made certain to set a timer. Checking on the cake pops, they were still a little too warm to work with. Since Oliver didn't mention anything else to make, he decided to look and see what was selling today. Silently coming out from the kitchen, Nick began to take note of their current stock.
