Again, it was mentioned within the lore and plot that human worship swapped over but if that wasn’t clear enough for you, I apologize. I also told you that the character idea you had would not fit within the role of the humans for this roleplay. That is why I cautioned for waiting until the character sheet was up to start brainstorming character ideas as specifics were decided later when I had enough interest and time to work on more lore. I’m sorry if I wasn’t direct enough for your tastes, but I responded in the way I wanted to and I had more on my mind than tracking what everyone’s basic characters ideas were in the interest check as I was busy working on the character sheets meaning it’s easy for me to miss things or forget. If you would still like to apply to this roleplay and have other questions that’s fine, I will answer them to the best of my ability, but if it’s not your cup of tea anymore that’s also okay. I would also appreciate it if you did not insult (even if it wasn’t your intention, that’s how I have taken it) my lore and plot points by saying those numbers aren’t substantial compared to other historical events and therefore it makes them appear weak or like there wasn’t enough pointless killings for that time period.

can i ask what the vibes are for each of the vampiric houses??? like do they have different lifestyles (besides the common blood desire + rules & regulations to follow) or do their personalities differ?? or is this another section of the cs that's pretty much free for our creativities to run wild?

So the houses are pretty diverse as they have multiple families in each one, like not everyone is a sibling or cousin. I will be going more into House lore with accepted characters in the discord but for now you can keep things pretty generic or what you would like to apply to your vampire’s family directly.

Like the House heads will hold the standards and morals of Dracula, ie human blood consumption, killings, not causing problems within house or outside of it, etc because they are meant to replace him and therefore uphold his standards. Individual families can completely disagree though and can try to live a different lifestyle (ie vegetarianism or having a human partner and not turning them) but if their lifestyle goes against rules it causes problems. Hopefully that answers everything!

Okay I started Lovelie! My mind decided to not work and so I’ll finish the rest later. I swear backstories and personalities are the hardest part of a cs. I just might delete it and do detailed bullet points.
 
I understand there's a gothic/Victorian aesthetic, but has tech/society stagnated in that era? Or would they have modern medicine, things like cell phones, etc?

To an extent. Social media isn’t really a thing and the internet is accessible but isn’t like anything crazy advanced, at least not for the general public. Cell phones are a lot simpler with designs and medicine can be difficult for humans to access due to their lower numbers and high cost (this is due to high quality medical services being mostly reserved for humans in higher positions of power as they have a whole black market thing and whatnot). But outside of human medical services, non humans also have medical practices where they use magic or potions to help cure people.

The differences between houses will be expanded on in the discord with accepted characters! But for the application purposes there is no difference
 
hehe mostly finished paloma. just gotta do her personality. luckily i’ve got a 3hr train ride tomorrow so i can also hopefully work on my vampire girly.

coding will come when i’m home from my trip bc i did not bring a computer with me lmao lmao
