Alright, so, some good news on my end. The charger of the laptop died, but hub ordered a new one and it should arrive today. Which means I'll be able to write that post for Ryoko soon (it probably won't be up before the weekend, but a girl can hope)

EDIT never mind, I got a bit of time and inspiration so just wrote it on the tablet. Stuff for Setsuna (up to the point where Hisako hits Shizumu) I'll post a bit later. I won't post further than the slap. That way I don't interfere with any reaction Shizumu might have after being hit. But I think I'll do that when I'm on the laptop or else I'll have to go back and forth a lot to find all the things she has to respond to lol

Heh, thanks for the warm welcome! It has been a while. I missed you guys.
Actually yes. I have. It's even got 2 new players already. I was actually going to extend an invite to any who wanted to join.....since.....I don't really know anyone on here besides you guys....AngelEvans even joined so that was a surprise. I didn't want to advertise without permission so I was just going to say hi instead and see how you guys were doing.

While advertising within someone else's thread is a little unconventional, especially for the same fandom, I am guessing there might be some here that would like a faster paced posting speed than that this RP can deliver. So if they want to go check it they are free to do so and join if the story is to their liking.

(Also, just an FYI for future reference. By saying you wanted to ask if you could advertise for your RP you essentially already made an announcement that you have an RP before having actual permission even though there is no link to it yet. What you could have done instead was tag the people of this RP in your interest check and in your own thread say you tagged them because you were wondering if they would be interested in joining yours too since they obviously already are a fan of the franchise. Or if you feel that might be too pushy, you could send the GM a PM and get the permission in full before hinting at it in the letter person's thread.

How’s everyone’s weekend going? I actually have a question for y’all. So for an assignment I have we get to pick a pop culture icon to make a digital portrait of. I chose Sailor Moon. But it has to be realistic and the face has to be based on a real person so my question for you is what real world celebrity would you pick for Usagi’s face?

Hm, do you prefer Asian or Western? Cause that might help narrow down the search.
You could always go with whoever played the live action version? Or one of the musicals.

Well, I was thinking of trying to challenge myself and not use the actresses cast in the live action or musicals. The teacher suggested that I do a renaissance style portrait so I was thinking maybe something involving Princess Serenity or Neo Queen Serenity. And since they describe her as a great beauty in those states I was thinking maybe someone like Aishwarya Rai. But she feels more like Sailor Mars than Moon. What do you think?

Personally I think an Asian model would be great. Since you want to challenge yourself maybe this is too easy but...I know there are many gorgeous Sailor Moon cosplayers out there ^ ^;

I think overall someone with more...doll-like? features would be really fitting. I would make some more specific suggestions if I had my computer. ;;

I love the idea of a usagi with Chubby cheeks! I've always headcannoned Usagi as plus sized, but there's not a lot of plus sized actresse's out there who match what I headcanon her as.

But, Iskra Lawrence is a pretty good fit for what I imagine her face to be! She's got cute cheeks and her nose is reminiscent of how I imagine Usagi?

I'd mention another name, but she isn't a celebrity. She is more a cosplayer/princess-for-hire (for like kids birthdays and stuff). So I don't think that would do you good if you are looking for celebrities

Had wanted to write out some of Pluto's post so we'd have at least that for the IC movement.. but then I got distracted.
Thinking about redoing an old story, but the more I got to looking into it, the more I realized how childish it was and underdeveloped, and then I ended up wanting to draw the main char again even though I haven't drawn on paper in ages. Most of the result isn't half bad, I can definitely say I HATE drawing wings. There are many ways out there, so far the attempts I made dun work for me. But I'll get there. Someday I'll have a good representation of that char.

Oh right, that whole stuff with that story got me to thinking about starting up a different RP of mine. Fishweave will definitely recognize it as it was the first RP where we crossed paths. And it was my very first own created RP.
It's called the Land of Wings. (Damn it what is it with me and wings XD)
I haven't put it up yet, but basically it's going to be a faster paced RP and it takes place on an island that floats in the sky where most inhabitants have wings of some kind (Cause... that's kinda in the title) or are some kind of winged being.

(Yes I'm blatantly advertising in my own thread XD)
Anyway, I'm curious as to who might be even remotely interested in joining. fishweave ?

Oh tiny thing Pretz, I mentioned this to Fishweave, but it wouldn't hurt to repeat. There is a door where they are, and windows and everything. Otherwise Setsuna couldn't have entered the place and the mid day sunlight not get in the building. But it is indeed preferable to not have the characters leave the place they are in otherwise it will delay things even further. (The door simply leads to a hallway and stairs and the rest of the palace halls/rooms.)

Alrighty! We've got some movement in the RP. Let's see if we can kind of get the motion going at a leisure speed.
Now I want to make sure, is everyone alright with me posting for Setsuna and then have her open the portal, or are there things you would like to do before that happens?

Once the portal is open you can still opt to wait a turn before actually going through in case you want to deal with some stuff after my post, but I just want to be sure I am not leaving anyone in an awkward position in any way?

I'm really excited for the next phase of the RP Their first battle! Woohoo!
