Victor Nevsky
Gaius Julius Caesar
Victor Nevsky has thinning blonde hair and brown eyes. He stands at only 5’9”, but he often looks taller than he really is (might be because he likes to position himself on platforms). He usually has a bit of blonde scruff on his face, and some lines around his lips and eyes are starting to show. His skin tends to carry a tan, and his body has a tone to it, though it is no longer what it used to be when he was younger. He is seen most often in suits, but when he is with “his army”, he is just as down and dirty as the lowest soldier. He is 42 years old.
Able to recognize the other reincarnated
Unable to recognize Octavius and Brutus; still suffers from seizures.
Victory Nevsky knows. He has known since he was born, and it took a while for him to accept the name he was given—and when he was younger, it took a while to accept the given names of others. Fortunately, he got out of the habit of blurting out the names he knew them as, and he figured out how to reconcile his present from his past.
Yet, his past drives him. He uses the memories to establish himself. He set himself quickly on the path to politics, pleased to have been raised already in a notable family; they claimed to be descendants of Russian Tsars, and the Tsars claimed descent from the Caesars, so…even if it is all lies, lies win.
He learned the politics through study, but was drafted to war before he could finish—he still hasn’t finished, either. He didn’t need to. He proved himself in the war, rubbed all the right elbows, and was vaulted into stardom as a prodigy. He used that, and in the continued warfare, he’s proven himself a capable leader. Looting, pillaging, and the like, has also given him a substantial amount of his own independent wealth, as have other, less than savory, methods. Extortion and threats work just as well as sweet promises.
Wealthy, well-named, and with his eye on the same crown he was unable to grasp as Caesar, he is ever-aware of who he surrounds himself with, and he is always, actively, looking for Brutus.
