He has a strong sense of justice, but can come across as aloof in the way he acts upon his values, leaving the impression that he's just some arrogant punk who likes to push people around to get his blood pumping.

Let's see, I'm 21 years old, I was born in Aria and spent most of my younger years aiming to be as successful as possible. To cut the boring sequences of the story short, I wound up here, the opposite of where I intended. I'm 5'7 and weigh--Ask me that again and you're losing a finger. I'm just someone looking for a job right now, the economy is stunted and this will do while I focus on my studies. How did I hear about this? • Biography: Yuki's an odd one, as prior to about six months ago she was simply a school all-star due to her wealth, grades and athletic ability. Upon entering the school, she almost immediately became known for her ability to retain information, and started off as someone many others would go to for tutoring. Her popularity exploded when she brought her interest of baseball into the mix and added athletic all-star to her repertoire. But that was not the end, as about six months ago exactly she came down with a sudden and unnaturally harsh case of Eighth-Grade Syndrome. It came out of nowhere and changed her so much that people have been questioning the circumstances of her change ever since. All of a sudden she cared little for schoolwork and considered her baseball proficiency as a sign that she was secretly heir to some celestial destiny. It was as if overnight she went full chuuni, spouting off ludicrous stories about hidden abilities and magical conspiracies. For most this would've ended their popularity almost immediately, but Yuki's unyielding charisma and ambitious nature allowed her to roll with it with shocking grace. Almost immediately after her sudden change, she applied for the school's failing roleplayer's club, and not two weeks later manged to merge it with the Theater club. Claiming that such activities allowed her to get closer to the past lives of her mystic ancestors, Yuki managed to turn her sudden delusions into motivation, and has wound up leading the school's new largest club.

Personality: Michael has an uncomfortably heavy personality. He tends to bring down the mood of wherever he is with his imposing appearance and permafrosted demeanor. He comes off equal parts apathetic and spiteful, though for what it's impossible to find a good reason. Despite this all, he has a strong sense of duty and acts out his assigned role to the best of his ability, even if that means not dropping his students out the second-floor window. He seems to be driven by an uncaring and pragmatic moral code. For obvious reasons, is overwhelmingly unpopular among the students.

Biography​

Michael was, is, no one important. His early life was uneventful, average, boring. He ended up teaching history and geography at a university for a handful of years. It seemed that it had been decided early on that his life would just be a lengthy sentence of boredom and repetition until he died. Things changed when a female student knocked on his door after class one day. She was simply another student whose name he would read off a paper and not bother commit to memory. But she was a terrible student it turned out, in real danger of failing his classes and being unable to graduate, and in a lapse of better judgement Michael had checked off a box on the syllabus he just printed off each year that said he was available for tutoring, though of course no student had dared ask for it until now so he'd completely forgotten about. It was during these sessions of clashing apathy and idiocy that the for the first time in his years as a teacher began to see a student as more than a faceless name atop a paper in a pile he'd have to grade. Needless to say, when the other students saw such an unlikable professor start to actually pay attention to one of his students, a female student at that, a female student whose grades soon began to rise in his classes, rumors began to circulate. None of them were true, but that didn't matter at all. The girl would graduate in a month, so to let her stay until then, Michael left the school. There was nothing solid to the rumors of an inappropriate relationship, so simply leaving before they grew any further was the smart thing to do. He was an adult, so it wasn't even that big of an inconvenience for him to move to a new city and find a new teaching job at a new school, all far away and free from childish rumors. Michael hasn't gotten close to a single student in all the years he'd been teaching since then, and he's made sure to never offer tutoring to students, even if that means they fail.

[ Combat ] Local Gym Membership: Michael works out at the local gym most nights to maintain his physical health and relive stress. His students would be shocked at how fit this dreary old man has managed to keep himself.

[ Gear ] Expensive Watch Knockoff: A knockoff of an expensive brand-name watch that Michael was given as a gift many years ago. He's had its shoddy inner parts replaced so that it's actually a reliable timepiece now.

[ Bag ] Old Lighter: Though he quit smoking over a decade ago, Michael still keeps a lighter on him. His time as a boy scout when he was young drilled into him how invaluable access to fire was in so many kinds of situations.

[ Bag ] Battery Pack: For some idiotic reason, there was never enough plugs in reach of his desk in the classroom, so Michael bought a battery pack for his phone. One side of the battery back can wireless charge devices, and the other is a small solar panel. He's never had any reason to use solar charging on the battery pack, until now.

Personality: Lilith is aloof yet playful among humans, being secretive about her past and prone to playing magical tricks on those she thinks would give an amusing reaction. Being rather young for a fae, she is still curious of humans, especially those who have just arrived in Moroi. However, since humans burned down her home, she's hesitant to trust them, and isn't a fan of authority. Given that she's more optimistic about the Aria students than the Diogene government, she might give them little bits of help surviving in this new world, but it'll be difficult for her to form enough of a real emotional attachment to call any of them her friends.

  [ Aura ] Nature Transmutation: Lilith can transform objects into other objects, and creatures and people into other creatures. However, she can only turn things into natural objects: for example, she could turn a sword into a flower, but not a flower into a sword. Anyone can reverse these transformations by chanting a short incantation and surrounding the transformed person or object with wolfsbane petals.
  [ Aura ] Compulsion: Lilith has a supernaturally mesmerizing presence, and if she looks someone in the eye for a few seconds, she can give them commands. However, these commands can be resisted through sheer willpower, and will probably fail if she tries to make people do things that are very much against their personalities or motivations.
  [Aura] Telekinesis: She can levitate objects from afar, although she struggles to lift anything that she couldn't physically carry.
  [Aura] Teleportation: Lilith still needs to practice this power, but if she concentrates, she can teleport to any place that she can see and is within a few dozen yards of her.
  
• [ Gear ] Mystwood Seed: A single seed that, when planted, will grow a magical tree that magically conceals the surrounding area, making it incredibly difficult to find for monsters and humans who have not yet discovered it. Given that it's the only gift from her father that she still has, Lilith doesn't feel like planting it anytime soon.
  
• Biography: Lilith was born on a fae village on the borderlands between the Diogene Empire and the kingdom of Yucarna. The village was secluded in the forest, and Lilith was forbidden from contact with humans except those who stumbled upon the village. Eventually, though, a scout in the Diogene Imperial Army managed to report the location of the village to his general, and the army soon appeared and demanded that the fae assist them in their war against Yucarna. Lilith's father, the chief of the village, refused, saying that the fae had no interest in serving an empire that was destroying the wilderness in its thirst for expansion. Her father was killed, the village burned down, and the rest of the fae scattered deeper into the forest.

Name: Remi Satsushima

Race: Human

Personality: An air-headed, absent-minded, introverted clutz who either has her heads in the clouds or her nose in a books on most days. Despite the fact that she's the librarian's student assistant and frequently spends her days locked in the library, Remi can't be called the sharpest tool in the shed. Her grades in Aria are abysmal. How she got into a prestigious academy like Aria is a mystery in and of itself. She's socially awkward, shy, yet also courageous. She gets frequent nosebleeds (especially when talking to handsome men) and tends to just bleed a lot in general (from being clumsy). To those she calls her friends, she is extremely loyal and even though she's a bit of a pushover (laughs along when people make fun of her), she's also surprisingly stubborn when it comes to the things she cares about. She tends to avoid conflict, doesn't easily get angry, and rarely raises her voice against others, usually opting for peaceful solutions whenever possible. Remi's the sort that would rather take hits than hit others herself, but while she can often be described as nice she has a hard time opening up and building relationships with others. No one (besides her parents in her baby years) has ever seen her cry.
