Personality: Artanis is a leader that had learned much through his experiences. He knows to accept and respect others, no matter their race or alignment, as he had seen that all races can prove to be brave and noble. He is also adaptive, willing to change certain aspects of society even if his collegues would not. He will take into consideration the opinions of all individuals and often make compromises instead of use force when he is attempting to achieve something.


Backstory: Artanis was a talented protoss individual, having mastered many fields, from combat to knowlede, at a young age. He was promoted to executor, the protoss equivalent of a general, at 262 years old, extremely young for a protoss. He proved to be a skilled tactician when he achieved many victories in battle. While at first he dispised other races, such as terrans(humans) and the Nerazim(splinter faction of Khalai protoss), he eventually learned that they can also be just as valorous as any Khalai. After a series of battles and events, the original protoss empire had fallen apart,(mainly due to losses to the zerg, an insectoid alien civilization) and what was left of it is now is engulfed in chaos, as tension rose once more between the Khalai and the Nerazim. Artanis was eventually promoted to Hierarch of the Daelaam, the new protoss society. He lead an ill-fated assault on Aiur, the protoss' homeworld, which was overrun by the zerg a long time ago. With most of his forces turned against him by a dark being named Amon, he sails the galaxy in a colossal but ancient protoss ark ship, looking to reunify what protoss there was left and stand up to face Amon. He allied with the Terran once more, and eventually even gathered the Zerg against Amon. Eventually, the three races, in unity, prevailed. Following Amon's destruction, Artanis was left to build a great protoss civilization that thrived in the now peaceful galaxy.


Powers, Abilities and Weapons:


Artanis' armor is composed of an unique alloy that only the protoss have the technology to forge. While it is far from indestructible, it is extremely well-crafted, especially so for Artanis' case since it was one made for the hierarch. Additionally, it has components that can, in junction with the psionic abilities of a protoss, form an energy shield. While it is impenetrable, the shield can be overloaded easily with enough damage to it. This shield's durability will change depending on how determined Artanis is, as it is essentially powered with his mind.


Artanis wields a pair of energy-based blades, one a psi-blade, and the other a warp blade.(not shown in picture) The latter has a green hue instead of blue. These weapons are very potent, again based on a technology exclusive to the protoss. They are powered by Artanis' psionic capabilities, and thus vary in power according to the strength of his will like his energy shielding. The warp blade is a weapon designed by the Nerazim, previously wielded by Zeratul, the protoss that first discovered Amon's plans, who eventually died proving it. Artanis uses it both to honor Zeratul and to symbolize the unity between the Khalai and the Nerazim.


Protoss in general are masters of concentration, and thus can manipulate mass amounts of psionic energy with relative ease. With these abilities protoss individuals can either enhance their strength and agility, or shape them and use them directly in battle, such as in the form of a psi-storm.


Extra:


Protoss have no mouth, and instead communicate telepathically. However, it appears to the listener as though the protoss is speaking normally, although the pronounciation of words have a slight echo to them. Additionally, Protoss beings have their own language, some parts of which are impossible to translate, so therefore some protoss words come out as meaningless noises.

Character Alignment: Chaotic Neutral/Chaotic Evil


Universe from: Team Fortress 2


Gender: Unknown


Age: Unknown


Personality: Extremely delusional. Sees the world as a wonderland of sunshine and rainbows, and believes that they are playing with others by setting them on fire.


Backstory: Only two things are known for sure about the mysterious Pyro: he sets things on fire and he doesn't speak. In fact, only the part about setting things on fire is undisputed. Some believe his occasional rasping wheeze may be an attempt to communicate through a mouth obstructed by a filter and attached to lungs ravaged by constant exposure to his asbestos-lined suit. Either way, he's a fearsome, inscrutable, on-fire Frankenstein of a man. If he even is a man. - TF2 Wiki


Powers, Abilities and Weapons:


-Fireproof


-Degreaser (flamethrower): Is capable of performing a compression blast, or airblast, that can deflect incoming projectiles, forcibly push people, and extinguish fire.


-Flare Gun: Sets victims ablaze. When shot at a burning enemy, the flare deals a large amount of damage for unexplainable reasons.


-Powerjack: Pyro becomes slightly more vulnerable to harm when this is in their hand, but they move faster and can heal themself by killing people with it.
