Gee opened the door, only to be met with the worried eyes of Kieth and Steve. "Where have you been?" Kieth asked, crossing his arms sternly. Steve stood a few feet back, waving nervously.

Ollie smirked, his usual self coming back a little. “We were just out for a dinner and decided to watch a play. Don’t worry, no one kidnapped us.”

Keith and Steve both looked flabbergasted. "You two are dating?" they assumed, chorusing their question.

Ollie stepped, back a little surprised again. “Of course not! We just had lunch together.” He wondered how Geela’s ‘special someone’ would take it if he found out that he went out for lunch with Geela.

Keith just sighed. "That's nice, but we were worried. No note or letter, you were gone!" he pinched the bridge of his nose. "At least she's still single," Steve teased.

"Hey! Take that back! I get more maidens then the both of you!" she snapped, slapping him in the back of the head. "Okay! Geez Angel!" Steve squeaked, fixing his goggles. "It's true though. I've been asked out by more girls and boys than the both of you. combined, and Kei leads the corps." She snorted in amusement.

Ollie just watched with slight amusement. Maybe her ‘special someone’ hadn’t asked her yet. But still, he didn’t want to steal Geela from someone who probably knew her better.

"Thanks for bringing her back." Kei walked over to stand next to Ollie. "On behalf of all five of us," he mumbled while Gee and Steve continued to bicker like children.

He nods, smiling. “Of course.” He looks around, not coming up with an excuse to stay. He sighs, “Well, I guess I should be going now.”

Keith nods, patting him on the back.

"Thanks for today, Ollie," Gee called out before he left.

Once the garde left, Geela turned to Keith. "Why are you home early? Was their trouble with the scouts?"

By this time, Steve and the girl had already stopped fighting, leaving the older boy to fiddle with his tools in his own room. Keith shook his head in response. "The scouts were sent on a mission with Zoe, so they sent me out early. I'll be here for the whole week." She nodded. "That's good. You needed a break anyways."

She tied her hair up and walked to the stove to make herself some tea. "Alek and Mary will be home soon," Keith added, making her turn. "Why? Are all your shifts ending early?" Steve peeked his head out of the room. "We're visiting, Angel." Her face dropped. "Oh. Okay."

Keith nodded once again. "Thoris want's to see us, so we were all sent out early. We're leaving at six."

Ollie headed back to the Diamond Palace. He had to be there for dinner because ti was someone’s birthday. He sighed, walking a little slower. There were a million thoughts going around in his head. He didn’t know if he should sit and himself from Geela completely or if he should just stop flirting with her.

Once the water had stopped boiling, Geela poured herself a cup of tea. She entered her room and closed the door.

"What's up with her?" Steve asked, looking at Keith. "Ack!" he screamed as Gopa appeared out of thin air. "Gopa," the elf cheeped, smirking. "Gopa gopa," the elf laughed. "It is not!" Steve yelled back. "Gopa?" Steve sighed. "Fine. We can play one game of chess."

Keith smiled amusingly, staring back at the door to Gee's room. He didn't know if she was ready.

Ollie sighed. He said down at a table in the palace, barely cracking a smile. He didnt feel like celebrating or eating cake. He just needed to sit alone.

All the other Gardes were yelling and dancing to some band that was using. A lot of them were looking at Ollie, pretty confused. Normally he was the life of the party, belting out karaoke songs and joking and ting pranking people. He never sat alone, just thinking. It was very unusual.

The bell outside rang, signaling Mary and Alek were home. Gee finally exited her room, covering her map quickly and throwing the journal she found under her pillow. She took her tea cup to the sink while Kei eyed her.

"We're home!" Mary called out. "Hey, May," Gee greeted, hugging the girl. Mary was like the mom of the group. "What about me?" Alek cried out, fixing their hair. Gee rolled her eyes, ruffling the short boy's hair. "Ugh, rude," they muttered, fixing their hair again.

The part soon needed and Ollie trudged upstairs to his room. He needed to sleep, maybe then everything would get better.

"Let's go," Keith directed, smiling slightly. Alek and Steve bolted down the stairs, chatting loudly about their days. "Yeah, and this really hot guy asked me out!" Alek blushed as they told the story. "I swear, those two were separated at birth," Mary chuckled, walking down the stairs alongside Keith while Angel followed behind.

"So, what did you do today, Angie?" Mary always used Angie instead of Angel. The dark hair girl shrugged. "Just went out."

"With that garde of her's," Keith added. Mary looked at her protectively. "You went on a date? What did you do? Did you-" Angel quickly shut the red-head up. "No Mom, I didn't. We just ate and watched a play!" Mary was taken aback. "Did you just call me... Mom?" Keith was also as shocked as they all paused at the bottom of the stairs.

"Hey what's going on?" Steve called out, running back to the three and Alek ran behind him. "I did not call you mom, I called you May!" Angel yelled, storming off flustered. Steve and Alek looked at each other, then to Kei and May, then to the girl who was walking ahead of them.

Ollie couldn’t sleep. He tossed and turned. He finally decided to go outside, sitting under a tree at the entrance to the diamond palace.

((I think Ollie is going to ask her about her ‘special someone’ soon ))

// Okay. Sounds good. //

Once the rest of the Outlanders caught up to Angel, all was forgotten as the chatted happily and teased each other. They would have to ask Gee about the 'mom' thing, later. It had been quite a while since they had all went out somewhere together. He usually initiated all their hangouts. Alek and Steve would help, too, but ever since he passed, they were out of it. It didn't feel the same.

"We're here," May said as the group silenced, bowing at the steps of the temple. The large, gold doors opened for them, revealing Thoris and two other gods. The five kneeled in front of the three deities in respect. "Thoris, Rhatyxz, Xeaos," they greeted, keeping their heads down.

"You may stand," Rhatyxz said gently, tilting their head as their fully white eyes looked down at them eerily. "Thoris has told us a lot about you and your friend."

Angel stiffened. She wanted to look at Mary, Steve, anyone. Rhatyxz was staring into her soul as they said friend. Keith nodded. "We just want to see him one last time, please." Angel swallowed thickly as Alek placed a hand on her shoulder. "It'll be okay, Angel. We're just going to talk to him." They smiled comfortingly.

Thoris shrunk down to a mortal size, opening her arms for Geela to run into. The girl wrapped her arms around the goddess, biting the inside of her cheek. "You deserve to know," the goddess mumbled, stroking Angel's hair. "You all do." Angel nodded. "Thank you," she croaked, afraid she'd cry.

Angel blinked, stepping away from the goddess as the scene played through her head. Rhatyxz nodded while Xeaos looked at her sternly. "Remember, no one is being brought from the dead. It's simply his spirit." The Outlanders nodded.

Steve clenched his fists. Alek was tearing up, biting his lower lip harshly. Keith looked indifferent, but he was screaming on the inside. Mary's eyebrows were arched, awaiting the coming of his spirit. Angel, her eyes were shut tight.

Then the gods began the summoning.

Ollie decided he should probably sleep. He sighed, trudging back up the stairs yet again.

(( I love how so different the scenes are. Like Ollie is just going up and down from his dorm to the courtyard while Geela is summoning her lost love/friend ))

// Lmbo yes. I read a very angsty story yesterday so I'm in the mood for some emotional damage. //

He smiled sadly. "Hi."

Angel opened her eyes, looking at the spirit. It looked so... Alive.

"Levi you stupid [censored]!" Alek yelled, tears streaming down his face. "You really had to jump off that [censored] cliff, huh? You had to [censored] leave us like the stupid, stupid idiot you were!" he screamed, pointing at Levi in accusation. Keith let out a breath he didn't know he was holding. His eyes were watery, but Kei never cried.

Steve was laughing in hysterics. All five of the living Outlanders were going crazy in the middle of the house of Thoris. What a sight.

"Hey, Angel," Levi whispered, walking closer to the crying girl. She hiccupped, smiling as she wiped her damp cheeks. "Hey Lev," she breathed. Keith was stroking Mary's hair as she sobbed into his chest. Alek and Steve were crying on each other, watching the interaction. "[censored] young love," Alek sobbed, wiping his runny nose.

"I'm sorry. For that day," the ghost apologized, looking towards his friends. "It was the only way."

They all looked up, calming the sobs. Well, all of them besides Alek.

The Outlanders stood in a circle, looking at their friend's spirit. "What way?" Kei asked, resting his hand on May's waist. Lev smiled sadly, lifting his bangs to reveal a dark curse mark, making May break down silently.

"You- The shadows [censored] got you?" Alek asked in shock with no more tears left to cry. "You died so you wouldn't become one of Cyrus's shadows?" Angel whispered, eyes wide and glossy. Levi nodded. "I didn't want him to use me to get to Thoris or any of you. I wouldn't be able to forgive myself if I had hurt one of you. I still can't forgive myself for how I left you. If you had known, Cyrus would have come after you. But this way, speaking in Thoris' house, you are under the protection of the gods."

"You are... The [very long censor] ever," Alek breathed, making Steve laugh. "I know," the deceased solider chuckled.

// Okay! Just a few more things to write down and Levi will go back to the spirit world! :') //

It was almost sunrise and the reunited teens chatted for the whole night.

"The corps. misses you, you know?" Kei asked, chuckling. "Especially the blonde kid you used to clean the barracks with." Levi smiled. "How is he, that little nerd?" the ghost asked, floating in his seat. "He's not really a nerd anymore. Got a glow up and is one of the best on Zoey's team." Lev nodded like a proud dad.

"It's almost sunrise, Levi," Thoris stated, emerging from the hallway of her chamber. "You'll have to go soon. Better tell them the rest of what you want to tell them before Rhatyxz and Xeaos return, son." Lev nodded, turning back to the Outlanders.

"Wait, son?" the living teens shouted. "Is that a nickname or something?" Mary asked. "This is one of you're funny pranks, right Lev? One last prank before you leave?" Steve chuckled nervously.

"Nope. I'm a demigod."

Alek cursed under their breath. "You're a little- I'm not even gonna say it." Lev chuckled.

"Why didn't you tell us?" Kei asked, knowing the answer already. "Cyrus," Levi shrugged. "And also because I didn't know till I died. She visited me in the afterlife."

Thoris smiled at the Outlanders. When she had finally located her long lost son, she found him with five others and vowed to protect them. It was one of the main reasons she hated Ollie so much. Her son was dead and he was just a reminder of that.

Angel chuckled at the statement, realizing that was why Thoris and Lev were always so close.

"Alright, pack it up Levi. As much as we want you to stay, you have to get confessing!" Alek shouted as Mary and Steve clapped, making Kei roll his eyes.

"Confession? Is there something I don't know?" Gee asked, pushing her hair out of her face. "Obviously!" her living friends shouted. Angel turned to the ghost, awaiting an answer to why she was left out.

"I like, no, love you. I have and still do." The spirit of the boy felt no hurt in saying those words. As long as she knew, he'd be okay.

"Fricking finally!" Steve exclaimed as Mary slapped the back of his head.

"I did too," the girl replied, eyes becoming glossy. Lev nodded, wanting to wrap his arms around her. "I understand. You and that guy look really good together, you know," he noted, making her eyes go wide. He liked seeing her happy, even if it wasn't with him. "Yep, I know about that, too. All I needed was closure, to know that you loved me when I was alive." Alek was gonna sob again, he had a love-hate relationship with LevAngel's romance dynamic.

"Well then, it's time to go, son," Thoris stated as the two other deities appeared. Levi nodded, looking at Angel one last time.

"See you in another life," he waved.

// I- The One Who Got Away plays as I write angst. Let's go! The Levi Arc is FINISHED! //
