"I'm sorry, but to be honest....I can't remember much of what things used to look like. It was so long ago and I was so young.." A shy laugh escaped. "I don't know if I can explain colors and objects too well beyond shapes and texture." He heard the call for the acts to begin. "Come with me. I've got to go get ready to perform, but can try to explain some things along the way. As best as I can of course." He held out his hand to her, close enough so she would know that he was making the gesture.

Fiona watched her lover perform and grew tempted to jump out on the stage with him, but contained herself and waited for him quietly. "Oh, my love. Magnificent." She kissed him when he came off. "Jorah, you just keep making me desire you more and more." She scratched him behind the ear again. "I'll make those mean investigators leave." Fiona found herself speaking in a babyish voice. "I promise." She watched Paul for some sort of signal.

Jorah happily swung his tail left to right at the touch of Fiona,"No need if they left then where would all the fun be," he said sluggishly as he wrapped an arm around Fiona. Looking around he watched as some workers moved the car , which he had just lifted and thrown, off the stage. "I swear they are putting cement or lead in that thing I almost dropped it on the catch. Maybe I'm getting old," he laughed at his last statement. Though saying things jokingly Jorah did have to push himself to his limits not just to look good but to scare the investigators, if they were smart they'd check to see if the car was a real car and if Jorah was really A Beast of Sands.

"Don't you dare say that." Fiona grew a bit worried for him. "Jorah, come with me. I want you to relax those muscles." She led him toward the back. "I want you to soak yourself in a hot bath as soon as possible. It's not that you need it hygiene wise, but I do want you to calm down." Fiona tipped another bottle into her mouth. "Please do it for me. I hate seeing you hurt." She began scratching little hearts into his abs.

"Fine," he growled as he pulled off his leather straps and pulled away at his weapons and belts. "I know some other ways to calm down," he muttered as he dropped the torso piece of his robe. Slowly using his tail he wrapped it tightly around Fiona's waist and smiled down at her. "I'm willing to do a lot for you my dear, pain is one of those things," he whispered as he drew closer to her.

Paul looked at the twins.


"Alright, you two will be up."


He walked back into the main tent.


"I know present a daring act, all the way from Ireland. Ladies and gentlemen...The Gravity Defying Twins!"


He walked back out of the tent. He watched as Fiona and Jorah walked away. He wished Nora and him were that close.


"If she doesn't show up..."


He clenched his fists as he kept an eye out for her.

Nora looked at Sayuri who had cuddled up with her.


"Don't say such things Sayuri! Of course you belong here! I know Paul can be mean and, well I can be bit a bit too motherly at times. But I promise, you are one of us!"


She knew performances were going on at the moment and Paul was most likely pissed she was not there.


"Fun? Then perform! I will not show up tonight, which means you get see Paul have one of his hilarious pouty face fits. Then You will perform in front of a crowd. Then you get join everyone at the local bar. They also serve food and its fun to watch everyone get drunk."


She tapped her chin with her finger.


"Also, since the investigators are poking around here, you are herby reprieved of your maze duties for the night!"


She smiled warmly at Sayuri hoping it would get the girl out of her rut.

~ Aria/Zafarina and Zane/Jasper and Nikita/Death~


The lights went black in the tent. The twins made there way to the highest platforms on opposite sides of the stage. The lights went to them, Zan stood with his arms crossed wings hidden. Nikita stood on the other platform her hands on her hips. The music started off slow. Nikita pointed to an even higher platform which the lights shown on. She moved to the edge of the platform, Zane did the same. She however stood backwards her heels on the ledge.


The minute the music picked up and she jumped up and dove off the platform in a death spiral towards the ground. Zane jumped off when she did but he pulled himself straight. Right before both it the ground there wings shot out and the soared around the tent till landing on the top platform. The crowds breath hung in the air as they watched the twins work in time with each other. The twins grabbed the silk ribbons before they continued there act. They twisted and turned to the ground. Once there Niki went to onside if the stage and did flips till she landed feet first in his out stretched palm he lofted her in the air and flew up himself. This was where there act ended floating in the middle of the air. The lights went out as the crowd stood and cheered. They made there way back stage jawing with each other. They teased each other and laughed. Aria had watched and shook her head."You two are over the top."she said. Her dragon was begging her to go next but she wouldn't go not just yet. Maybe let another act or two go before her.

Sayuri

"O-okay... S-should I go for scary, or... c-cute... and playful...?" Sayuri asked hesitantly, not sure which she wanted to do during her time performing. She felt quite better now that Nora had comforted her, smiling up at Nora through the tear-filled eyes. "I-I don't want to see him mad though, so please... perform... I haven't ever seen you perform, either..." She begged like a little child who was taking their first attempt at asking for her mother to buy her a piece of candy, or in Sayuri's case, begging almost as much as she would for just a tiny piece of cheese; her begging for even a small handful of cheese was a lot.

Kaname shook her head slowly, though simply out of habit from her conversations with those that could see. "It's fine... If you can't really explain it too well, I'd rather not make you explain it... It would be a waste of your time, and without an explanation from somebody who understands both what it's like to see, and to be extremely curious about what it's like to 'see', or knows what it's like to have a desire to 'see'... That's the only kind of explanation that wouldn't confuse me... Somebody who doesn't even understand the concept of 'seeing'." Kaname said, though having noticed the hand, she took it. "I can still walk with you though, if you don't mind me being next to you."

"Alright, if you insist. I really would love to try and explain it when I do have more time though." He smiled as she took his hand. Then began leading the way towards the main tent. "I don't mind it at all. I actually enjoy your company very much." A small chuckle escaped. "And if you are interested. I do have a way of well...kind of seeing again. It is nothing more than detecting the outlines of people and objects using this energy they give off. I only ever use it in my act though seeing as it takes so much out of me to do."

Fiona wasn't the kind of person to get nervous easily, and a part of her was nervous now, but she brushed that aside as those pathetic human emotions she's heard of. "I can see why some humans refer to you as the big bad wolf." While she was certain Jorah's tail was strong enough to crush her, Fiona's heart hammered, just knowing that someone so dangerous could act like putty in her hands the way he did especially out on the bench. "Not to me, though. I know you, Jorah." She traced a nail down his chest and sighed. "When you're in pain, I do worry. I won't ever lie to you or anyone else in this family. But..." she traced the tendons in his arms. "These veins and this body, I know can handle more pain than I can." Fiona drove her tongue in his mouth as she waited for her call. "Or, am I wrong and you're just a puppy still?"

Kaname

"I-I find that interesting... I-it's probably quite helpful..." Kaname said shyly and a bit nervously. How perfect it was. Two blind people who could sense things around them, though she wouldn't let him know she could as well. "I can teleport..." She mumbled to herself under her breath, the words pretty much inaudible. Even if there was somebody with hypersensitive hearing right next to her they would be inaudible, though she still hoped that Marius didn't have hypersensitive hearing, just in case it was audible.


Kaname was quite clearly back to being nervous and shy, though unknown to Marius, it was because of their similar abilities to sense people. There was one major difference though. Kaname was able to sense everything around her right now and pretty much whenever with ease and no real drawback, while Marius couldn't really do it all too often because of it apparently draining him of his physical energy or something. In order to actually tell where everything was right now though, she would have to pay attention, which was quite difficult while embarrassed.

"Pain is normal in life, depends on the kind of pain whether it really hurts or not," he muttered as he sat onto a seat behind him. Placing his head against Fiona's chest he sighed and wrapped his arms around her,"I'm only a puppy for you, or atleast I will act like one," he said with a light chuckle. Slipping his tail away he loosely wrapped it around Fiona's leg,"Lies hurt more than bullets and knives," he whispered as he looked up and kissed Fiona.

"It definitely is during my act and whenever I use it as well. But sadly it is still not really seeing anything." He chuckled. His ears twitched a little as he picked up on her saying something, but he couldn't quite make out exactly what she had said. "Hmm? Did you say something else dear? I have superb hearing, but can't really tell when you mumble that quietly." He took on a more soothing tone as he sensed her becoming nervous and shy again.

Paul looked at the twins.


"Very well done you two."


He looked back at the group, still no Nora.


"Alright."


He sounded very irritated, although most would know it was because he was upset at Nora.


"Who wants to go next?"


He looked at Marius who, was with the new member. But, Nora was not with him.


Nora looked at Sayuri.


"Hmmm. I would say cute!"


She clapped her hands together.


"That way the audience will love you!"


She laughed when Sayuri said she didn't want to see angry Paul. Nora always loved to see an angry Paul but, yet again she saw him as kid. It was like all the times he acted like a frustrated little kid.


"Well, maybe I just find it humorous."


She couldn't say no to the girl when she said she wanted Nora to perform. Nora stood up.


"Okay I will perform. The staff most likely brought Anubis from my trailer already. He will be very mad if I leave him in that bag for any longer."


She offered her hand to the girl.


"Shall we go?"

Fiona sat on his lap, her arms around his furry neck. "That's so true." She was growing impatient with the waiting. "You just sit back, relax and let me handle the rest." Her eyes darted from Jorah, to the stage. "Paul, I can see you're irritated and irrational, but, may I go?" She batted her eyes. It was too bad her manipulation was at its strongest concerning spiders. "It might ease your stress if you have a drink or two." She tossed a vile of spider venom toward him.

[The Velveteen Rabbit]

"There we go. All finished."


Cenzio murmured while fastening a white ribbon around the porcelain doll's neck. It was tight against her skin, and had a blue sapphire jewel dangling in front. The skeleton stood back and placed his hands on his bony hips. A smile filled with pure glee was plastered across his face. He clapped excitedly, grabbed Emmaline, and spun her in a circle like they were a happy couple.


"Oh, how I love opening shows!" He exclaimed loudly. Palomar stood in front of one of the body length mirrors, turning from side to side and adjusting his outfit. He glanced over at the two who were twirling in a circle together. Emmaline's berry colored dress swayed like soft flower petals in the breeze. Palomar found himself having trouble looking away.


"Careful now, Cenzio. The last thing we want is her outfit to be torn in two." He warned. Cenzio let out a deep sigh and placed the doll back onto her feet. He collapsed on one of the couches and crossed his legs.


"Always here to ruin the fun, aren't you?"


"It's my job, isn't it?" Palomar shot back with a grin on his face. The two skeletons chuckled quietly together before Emmaline began to speak up in her usual gentle voice.


"We should probably get to the prep area... We're late."


At those words, Cenzio leaped to his feet and dusted off his outfit. Palomar slid a hat between his horns and tilted it downwards slightly. He would have winked at himself if he could.


"Showtime, ladies." Cenzio said in a sing songy voice as he led Emmaline and Palomar out of the backstage room. The three eventually made it to the prep area, where everyone seemed to already be waiting. The two skeletons flashed everyone mischievous grins around them, including Paul. He seemed to be more irritated then usual.

Lucas frowned as he struggled with his tassles on his costume. They always seemed to get caught in the most inopportune of places, especially right before performances.


However Lucas' mood immediately brightened when he saw Emmaline in her performance dress. Despite himself, he let out a goofy smile. He even let out a soft chuckle when he saw Cenzio and Palomar's antics and smiled back at Palomar. But he remembered his place and went back to adjusting his costume.


Lucas stared at Paul as if deciding against something. After a while it was apparent Lucas had made up his mind.


"My dear Paul, I was wondering if it would not be too much of an inconvenience for me to go next?"

Paul gave Fiona a sour look when she mentioned he seemed irritated and irrational. He didn't like being called out like that. He sighed as she asked to go next.


"I thought you wanted to go last but, since you volunteered."


He looked at the newest batch of performers that joined the prep area group. Yet still no Nora.


She needs to tell me when she decides to not show up....


He walked into the main tent again. He put on his happy face again.


"Ladies a gentlemen, a terrifying act all the way from Transylvania. I present Spiderwoman."


he walked back out to hear Lucas volunteer


"you will go next unless Emmaline wants to go next."


He looked at the girl and the two skeletons.

Finally, she was ready. Fiona kissed Jorah once more then climbed up the rafters. The lights dimmed and most of the crowd below fell silent, though a lot of them were confused. "What's going on?" She heard one person ask, though she couldn't tell if it was a man or woman. The lights changed to red. "You must all be wondering why there is no one on stage. That is because spiders tend to hide where you least expect them." Her voice echoed across the circus tent as she lowered herself with her webs. When she got to the ground, she smiled and bowed, noticing that the faces that stared at her were all surprised. A cage waited with a red blanket thrown over it. "Welcome to Transylvania. I have very special friends that you'd like to meet, and that would like to meet you." She giggled as her fingers danced over the blanket that hid whatever was inside. "Now, mothers, hush your children. These friends can be very,very hostile." She giggled. "It might PROVOKE THEM!" As she said this, the blanket was lifted, by her webs, to unveil her spindly legged friends, just two this time. Their pincers clicked in anger. "Oops, it seems that I woke them myself. Silly me." Hearing gasps from the audience, she pressed her finger to her lips. "Do not be alarmed. They're really very sweet. Or, are they?" Her voice sounded like one of worry. There was a shriek. "Th-There was something on my leg!" Fiona chuckled In amusement. Should I help?" She asked herself. "Fine, I guess I will." All at once, she disappeared, then reappeared next to the cowering person. She couldn't see a face, for it was too dark. "Pardon me, but can I have my little one back?" She stifled a giggle as the person nodded. The spider on his shoulder crawled over to her mistress and up her arm as if this was a daily occurrence. "Thank you. I do hope I didn't scare you." She hissed and walked back to the stage, silent. "Now that we're all present, let the web begin." She tossed the smallest into the air, one of the bigger ones caught it and they used the threads to begin spelling out something. Meanwhile, the second gargantuan beast formed a web of his own, to catch the Spiderwoman if she fell while performing acrobatic stunts. Soon the name was spelled out and Fiona was being wrapped in a cocoon and then set on fire by a torch nearby. The thread broke, and the catching web had also caught on fire, seemingly out of nowhere. Fiona fell from her cocoon and came out completely safe. "Thank you! Thank you! But, there Is one more surprise." She waved the cloaked man forward. He stood there for a long time, then the cloak came off, revealing a mass of black widows In the shape of a man. Fiona bowed and left the stage, her spiders disappeared in the rafters.

Sayuri

"Okay, I'll be cute!" She said excitedly. She wasn't entirely sure how she would do it, but she would use her illusions in a cute way. "I'm not sure how I'm going to do it yet, but... I'll do my best...!" She said excitedly, but kept her voice at least to where it wouldn't be too loud. She moved behind Nora quickly, floating back in front from the other side. She was now in doll form, floating up and sitting herself down right on Nora's head. She laid there on her stomach, holding Nora's head just barely so she wouldn't fall off if anything happened that would make her fall off.

"I-it's nothing..." Kaname said shyly, a bit embarrassed he heard her mumbling her words. "I would ask if I could watch you, but... As you can tell, 'watching' is a bit of an... issue for me." She raised her right hand up to her chest, holding it there as her heart was beating a little faster than usual. Why was it doing so, she wondered. It was probably because she'd found somebody who actually understood her and her inability to see things, as well as could possibly understand her desire to know what it's like to actually see. She kept walking with him, ready to let go of his hand if ever necessary.

He thought about asking her again out of pure curiosity, but decided it was best to let it drop. She seemed shy and nervous enough as it was. "It is alright, you may not be able to see it, but you'll be able to hear the audience react and feel the tension in the air. My act's tend to get a little.....extreme at times." He chuckled. "Here we are." He announced as they entered the waiting area for the performers. "I'm not sure when Paul will tell me to go on tonight, so while I wait we can sit and talk."

After what seemed like ages of poking around he finally found the trailer he was looking for. Nora's. If anybody had some juicy information on what was going on in this circus it would be her. He glanced over his shoulder quickly before picking the lock and sneaking inside. Yeesh.....it was pitch black in there. Didn't she keep any lights on at all? And what the heck was strewn all over the floor? Curiosity getting the best of him he leaned over and picked up one of the items to inspect what it was.

Nora was happy that Sayuri was out of a rut.


"I am sure you will find a way! I have faith in you Sayuri."


She felt the girl turn into a doll and sit on her head. She walked to the prep area and spotted Marius. She went behind the blind man and stood behind him rubbing his chest. She looked at Paul who was giving her a foul look.


"Oh please, don't act like you don't know how I feel about you Paul..."


She looked back a Marius.


"So, have you been making our newest member welcome my dear Marius?"


She asked out of curiosity, knowing that a blind person could certainly make another blind person feel welcome.

Paul watched Fiona do her act, he turned and saw that Nora had arrived. But, he was not too happy with what she was doing. He made sure to give her an expression reflected that. He turned away when she spoke to him. He knew she didn't love him that way but, he didn't like her being so public with her shows of affection. He looked at Lucas who had offered to go next after Fiona said she wanted to.


"Lucas, do you want to go know? Or should I make Nora go?"


He heard an angry 'hey' from her general direction.

Isabelline and Mika stood watching the other performers get ready. The two were not performing tonight because Mika hadn't been feeling too well recently, so instead they settled on watching the others do their act. "I told you Belle, I'm fine." Mika coughed glaring at his sister. Isabelline glanced at him not even the tiniest bit convinced. "You always say you are fine Mika, but then when we perform you always get "sabotaged" and wind up injuring either one or both of us." Mika pouted crossing his arms and letting out a huff of irritation. "You're not my mother." He grumbled under his breath. "No, but I am your guardian." Isabelline retorted coolly. "Honestly, for a 2345 year old you act like a child." "Honestly, for a 3965 year old you act just as uptight as people would assume you are." " I am not going to ruin the show just because you want to perform Mika, now drop it." Isabelline's tone had a sentence of finality in it, and Mika begrudgingly dropped the subject.

Dá fú nī was sitting on the couch ledge that was connected to the giant window of her trailer. After her performance she had come back to her trailer and was brushing her hair once again. She was wearing an old hanfu of hers for it was more comfortable then her qipaos. As she was brushing her hair, Dá fú nī saw someone enter Nora's trailer. Immediately Dá fú nī put her brush down and left her trailer going over to Nora's. Opening the door she found a man holding a pair of Nora's undergarments. Suddenly a feeling of rage came through Dá fú nī when she saw the man. "你认为你在做什么? Put those down!" Dá fú nī stood infront of the man with a glare on her face, "what makes you think you have the right to sneak into a women's trailer and steal... such things from her?" Dá fú nī looked at the man's confused face. "We'll go on, I want to know what make you think that young man."
