Based on our characters this is my idea;

The selection tournament is being held by the Roman Empire which at this time spans Italy and the Mediterranean Region minus Greece, Spain, France, and Egypt. The reason is that the previous Emperor died with no heir and the Empire could collapse under the weight of a real civil war among the high ranking figures. They have elected instead to host a dual meet tournament where each figure vying for Emperor enters a team of Mage Knights.

A nobleman of Rome seeking to take control has enough wealth to host this selection tournament to choose his team and hope it stands up against the other teams. His team will be the 8 place winners of the tournament.

For our characters that means access to the resources of the pretty much locked down Mediterranean Sea and Region. The financial and political benefits of having the Roman Empire behind you is too great to pass up.

As a heads up you can choose whether your character was seeded or not. But logically someone not really known in that greater Europe area probably would not be seeded unless they provided information of their exploits to the hosts when they registered.

You could post about warming up backstage while watching the other matches, what they did last night, what they did in the morning, and what they did during the opening ceremony. The matches do proceed in an order so after this round of post we could go right through each player's match.

No one elected to be a seeded fighter
The seeds themselves are set in a standard order. As a wrestler seeding is always adjusted so that 1 and 2 don't meet until the finals. Each round before except the semi finals has a number the two seeds are supposed to equal with the one seed always having the easiest matches.
As for everyone's match I just tried to spread everyone out evenly so that we don't all meet until quarter.

Nah, as in, you've stated

Kevin as called for the 15th match, Leanne for the 10th, Silano for the 8th, and Raikou for the 4th match.

Only four characters currently, and while I am aware that i have yet to post, it's curious that Aelius doesnt have a slated number, so I was just wondering.
