Pinging you all one more time as a reminder, the character thread is up and I'm looking at characters as I get them. Consider a like as a form of acceptance on your character. Let me know if you're not interested anymore so I won't ping you anymore.

For those of you who are making or have already made characters, I've got a question:
How would you like to start? I have three possibilities:
1) We start at initial boarding and preparation of the Homecoming ship. Characters who don't know each other will introduce themselves, John (my character, the ship Captain), will give a speech, and we'll take off towards Earth. Shortly after, we'll all enter cryosleep and wake up later.

2) We start already in flight, but not quite at Earth. John will wake up from cryosleep (as the Captain, he gets woken up first), followed by characters in a specific order (a few other characters will probably wake up earlier, but then most of them will wake up all together at the same time), then we run systems check on the ship. It'll probably be brief, then all the crew members will get together and have a small 'going to sleep' party or something before going back into cryosleep. This may or may not happen even if we start in scenario one.

3) We start at Earth. We'll wake up from cryosleep and run a system check, then the Flight crew will run landing procedure and we'll land on Earth and get started right off the bat. This, obviously, is going to happen no matter what option we start with, but if you guys want to just skip the others and start here, we can do that.

Awesome! No worries, I understand that. I've been struggling to stay on top of school and get this done at the same time, haha. That's the reason it took me a few days to get all this up. Luckily midterm week is almost over, so I'll be free once more.

Also, for everyone: I'm waiting until I have a few CSs accepted before I post the main thread. I'd also like opinions on where you guys want to start so I can write the intro post for that setting. Also, remember that I'm being very flexible with technology. Be creative! If you're not sure if something's okay (if it seems to fiction-y or something), just ask me here or PM me, I'll let you know what I think!

Also concerning the intro, i like the second option. Starting in cryosleep is a very unique start to a roleplay.
