Chicago Adventure {Closed}

Allen sighed, he didn't really feel like arguing in front of Freya. She wasn't fragile but there were some things that might be said that could open old wounds so he just dropped it. "You know, it you really want to get rid of it, we can all have a nice night out with a bonfire. Perfect way to get some of the annoyance out." he chuckled, "So, let's get going. We have to stop at my place, there is no way two apartment worth of groceries is going to fit in my small car." Freya looked between then staying quiet for a while, before Allen motioned her to the door and she was quick to go, "Wait for you outside, if you need to get ready." Allen told Colt before following Freya out the door.

"I'm ready." He said walking to the door, he was tired of being the wounded puppy to all his friends. His mother wouldn't get off his back either. "A bonfire is a good idea though." He smiled a little as he walked out with them.

When he got to Allen's car he left the front seat for Freya. He walked to the backseat and pulled on the handle waiting for Allen to unlock it.

Allen smirked unlocking the door, "So, Colt are you going to stick with us or wonder on your own, when you get your car." He asked, as he got into the driver's seat, Freya got in the passenger and was hoping Allen wouldn't drag him everywhere. She had already heard what happened and the way Allen talked in the house, she got that it was really a big relationship. She also got the impression the Colt just want ready to be pushed in all directions, in an attempt to get over it.

"I'll stick with you guys." He smiled leaning up between the seats. "I want to rub my motorcycle in your face. I know you love the danger." He chuckled and leaned back looking out the window. He had a lot to think about but he pushed it all to the back of his mind and just concentrated on the clouds.

Allen grinned, "Good. Always a good idea to spend some time with friends. But don't get cocky, speed guy, I'd hate to have to can a medic on a medic." He chuckled as he started towards his place.

Freya looked out the window for a bet before she sighed and turned the radio on. She moved through the stations before she stopped at one that had music. She leaned back and hummed to the music, Allen smirked looking at her briefly as he drive.

He chuckled and watched as Freya turned the stations. "Is this what you call music?" He asked with a smirk and leaned forward turning the dial till you could hear a person shredding a guitar. "Much better." He leaned back. Allen seemed really attached to this girl. She couldn't be all that bad if she had the stamp of approval from him. He smiled and looked out the window of course his mind was on Juliet, like it most of the time was.

Freya titled her head, the music wasn't something she was used to. She looked out the window, but she didn't mind. Allen sighed, he knew Freya didn't know this type and he knew she was counting the notes and pitches rather then listening to it. Allen smirked, lowering the radio a little, "You know, Colt, if you still have that guitar. Freya and you should really match out. You two can start your own band." He chuckled, Freya tensed slightly, before rising the volume again and looking out the window.

Colt chuckled and pitched his reply over the music. "You know the only guitar I play is acoustic. They don't call me cowboy for nothing." He laughed louder and tapped on Allen's shoulder and pointed at the Ducatti place up ahead. It was surrounded by car dealerships, he loved to haggle and he was damn good at it. He'd been haggling for horses since he was really little. He reached up and turned down the music. "We can find hers first." He looked at Freya. "So what will it be?"

Allen chuckled, Colt had no idea how much he had to learn a lot Freya. Allen looked at Freya, "I think I rather something simple." She said with a shy smile looking between them.

Allen chuckled again, "Of course." He smirked turning to Colt, "And you want a bike."

"Not just a bike Allen, A Ducatti." He said with emphasis. "Oh come on Ford isn't that flashy and I can get you a huge deal. You seem like one of those eco boost girls." Colt smiled leaning in between the seats. He looked at Allen. "What kind of girl ever prefers simple anyways?" He laughed and leaned back again scooting over into the middle seat to look at Freya.

Allen smirked, "The kind of girl that doesn't like to be flashy." He answered, shifting a glance to Freya. She blushed and looked out the window again.

After a little while she said, "I think a simple car is prefect."

He looked at her for a moment and shrugged. Juliet would have had a fit if he even suggested that after all she had kept their Mercedes. He leaned back more and turned his head to Allen. "I like that." he smiled. "I do want to go to that Ducatti dealership, and I know another place you might like." He smiled.

Allen smirked, "Groceries first and then you can worry about what car to buy." She stated quiet as Allen stated, "Unless you guys wanted to go now?"

"Fine, since you guys think food is more important than motercycles." He chuckled and pulled his seatbelt back on. "What all do you guys need to get anyways?" He asked, He didn't usually cook so hed probably get a bunch of premade stuff. He didn't have time to cook.

Allen smirked, "Freya probably well have to get some stuff between already cooked and some stuff to cook."

Freya took a breath, "That's his way of saying he might come over a few to eat so he rather I cook." She smirked.

Allen chuckled, "You have to invite us over for at least a home cooked meal. Our schedules are all hectic and you are the only person I know that cooks after an 18 hour shift."

"I know two." Colt murmered to himself quietly, why did his thoughts always go back t that witch. "I agree I think we should get a home cooked meal. fter all we save peoples lives." He smiled leaning forward a little. "One day we might have to save yours, how do you expect us to do our job if we are malnourished?" He chuckled. He and Allen both were far from malnourished, they were both sporting killer abs and biceps to die for.

Freya chuckled, "Fine." She smiled looking at Colt, "You've never had my cooking so I don't see why you've be so enthusiastic about it." She rolled her eyes and looked to see where they were.

Allen grinned, "Trust me Colt, you'll want to keep her a secret when you do. I don't know what would happen to us if she ever got married and stop cooking for us hard working rescuers." He chuckled.

Colt laughed and nodded. "As an new appointed brother, I will make sure that does not happen." He grinned at Freya. "Welcome to the family by the way." He jumped as his phone went off screaming papa roach. He groaned and handed the phone to Allen. "Tell her I'm busy." He couldn't hear that voice.

Allen smirked, "I'm driving." He said taking the phone he handed it to Freya, "Tell her, he's busy." He chuckled. Freya looked at the phone briefly, as Allen held his hand so Colt would try and stop her.

Freya sighed, as she answered, "Hey, hmmm, Colt is busy, can he call you back?"

"Allen!" Colt protested. What would Juliet think if she heard the voice of some girl she didn't know. He bit his lip.

"Oh? And who is this?" Juliet asked angrily. She need Colt to come over and look at her dishwasher. She didn't know how the thing worked or the first thingabout fixing things.

Freya tilted her head, "Freya." She simply said, Allen tried to hold back a laugh, as they came to a like. "Who is this?" Freya asked, unsure who Colt didn't want to talk to. She didn't expect it to be his ex, after all, she dumped him.

"Juliet. Who are you exactly Freya?" She asked with venom in her voice. "I need Colt's help with something, he tld me to call if I needed anything after all I was his Fiancé."

Colt sat in the back wishing he would have just answered. Juliet was a very mean and direct person and Freya was the opposite in all reality Allen had quite literally thrown her to the wolves.

Allen tried so hard not to laugh as he noticed the cliches fist on Freya's lap. "Then I suggest you be more lady like in your reject and your delivery. I'm sure your mother tried to raise a lady, you should have at least given her that victory instead of acting like a barbarian. If it is his choice, he will call you back, but seeing as you are both rude and ill mannered, I don't see why he would. You wanted him gone, you should learn to do things for yourself, it was your choice to be alone, you should also be independent. I'm sorry, but he will call you back if he wants, you've already upset me. Thank you and good bye." She said hanging up and Allen let his laugh loose. Freya looked at him then at Colt, and shame and guilt crossed her face. She handed the phone back to Colt in an apologetic expression and said, "I'm so sorry, I shouldn't have said that. I'm really really sorry."

Colt broke out laughing. He hadn't even known how good that would make him feel. "No, thank you. She deserved that." He continued laughing feeling 120% better. It wouldn't last long probably, he'd give in and call her later but for now it felt amazing. He patted her on the shoulder. "I'm sure no one has told her off like that in her life."

Freya blushed, with a smiled, "Oh. Ok." She said, as she sat back.

Allen chuckled, "I knew that would happen. Just can't grow up, can she." He smirked at Freya, "Sorry I put you in that position. But you know I love it when you get upset." She smirked ashamed, it wasn't a good thing but Allen never thought of it as a bad thing.
