There’s already people making comments about a super return or top goalie for Murray, hey? Wow. I don’t know what his season will be like in Toronto. But I doubt he’s going to turn back the clock and become Pens era Murray and even then I wouldn’t say he’s top 5 or top 10 this year. Yikes. People need to chill and just let guys play first.

No. I’m saying people’s expectations for players either vets past their prime or coming off multiple down years or young guys who haven’t had a chance to figure things out yet or even hit the league. (All sports have these hype and expectations tendencies from fans and media) With Murray he’s a vet coming off multiple down years in Ottawa partly could be attributed to a young team in rebuild but also he just isn’t the same guy right now as Pens era Murray that played a key role on those cup teams.
They’d be wise to just let their guys play. Channel their passion towards team support instead of hyping people to the moon.
