Yeah he was the captain up here too. Dude was and still is a legend. We also had KadrI too for a time but he wasn’t all that popular up here.

EEEY! Another Skinner fan! I got so much of his merch from junior. my dad even gifted me a Canes hat and jersey when he got drafted.
 
He’s such a great player and captain.

Kadri was always a scumbag on the ice, but off the ice he’s great. He donated a SHIT ton of his Stanley Cup winning money to a hospital and for funding brain research or surgery I think? Really classy move tbh.

Yea dude Jeff Skinner is great. I’ve always liked him- very under rated. Seems like he’s a really classy guy! That’s sick that you have those things that’s totally bad ass!
 
Yeah, Katri might be cool but from what my dads seen his parents are pretty entitled. Would barge into the arenas demanding free tickets and everything. Put a pretty bad taste in our mouth at that.

And Skinner’s pretty awesome too! During the pandemic he donated 53K to food banks in buffalo and the food bank up here to help ensure people ate. Dude’s underrated on so many levels. Did you know when he was here he was the youngest player to score 50 goals in franchise history?

I got a photograph of the 50th too. Autographed and everything.

My childhood was basically surrounded by the big names coming and going out of Kitchener. I saw McDavid play junior in Erie Stamkos with Sarnia and Taveres with Oshawa. And PK Subban. I love PK too he’s an Awesome dude.

Exactly. Going as an adult fan I feel like you remember it more and you actually can tell what the hell is going on.
 
Yea the fans in Nashville are awesome. Such a great atmosphere for hockey there.

As you can tell by my status, one of my favorite things they did was the chant in the playoffs that one year where they’d taunt the goalie

They’d go “HE SHOOTS, HE SCORES, YOU SUCK!” every time the opposing team’s goalie let a goal in. It was hilarious and then they’d mock and taunt the goalie’s name.
