WOW! The Mariners come back from 8-1 to win it 10-9 and win the series to advance and play Houston! A first round exit for Toronto! Was NOT expecting this!

Seattle wins the series 2-0.

I’m speechless….. 8-1 lead turns into a 10-9 loss. I don’t even know what to expect going forward. I wasn’t rooting against the Mariners but never expected this from the Mariners either. Wow! I don’t even think J-Rod really factored into this series and I thought he would have been the key. Well, Besides Castillo on the mound anyway. This is one story I guess will continue after all and no idea what to expect against Houston now.

Me too. Speechless is the perfect way to describe it. Like, how man? Wow.

Now I’m focusing on this big Mets game tho. It’s 2-2 here in the top of the 5th.

Definitely. Well done Servais and the Mariners. Wow.

Oh yeah, been in and out but seen the score earlier. Should be a good finish and I imagine with the way the first pair of game 2’s went, should be a good game throughout.

3-2 here thanks to Pete Alonso!

Nice W for the Mets last night. Saw the score during a break at work.

I was certain I’d be wrong, 75%, I think was the odds of being wrong marker I gave myself. But, wow, I was expecting that to not hit til the division round. Haha. Wildcard just didn’t go nearly like I thought it would. Blue Jays-Mariners I would have been with either one just happened to pick Jays thinking they’d win. But Phillies topping the Cards…. I don’t know what they have over the Cards, but that seems to be a matchup the birds just couldn’t seem to get right throughout this season and now playoffs included. I can’t see certain teams that have moved on to get any further but where it concerns the M’s, I’ve no honest idea after that impressive rally to clinch it. So I’ll definitely root for them over Houston but really don’t know what to expect now.

Yea it was huge. deGrom did well.

Also wow unexpected and yikes. The Cardinals were swept by the damn Phillies, I’m still surprised lol.

Good for the Mariner’s tho lol.

Naturally for Degrom lol. I can’t remember the last time I’ve seen him have a truly off night but then again it happens to everyone. I just can’t recall it for that guy.

Yeah lol. I can’t believe it, maybe I’ve been underestimating the Rob Thomson led Phillies but never saw this coming and mentioned already a few times my thoughts and vibe feels on this Cards team. Just surprising for sure.

Agreed lol. The story continues on for the M’s.

He’s had a couple of off nights. Like the game in Oakland and in Atlanta. But overall pretty solid performance from him.

I did too. Still surprised. Wild that the Phillies pulled thru and swept.

I see. Yeah still overall pretty solid.

The division rivalry should make this series even more interesting. That was definitely wild though. I don’t see them getting past Atlanta but they already proved me wrong so idk. Can’t see it but it’s still possible they will repeat another stunning round.

Yes for sure. But yea, I’ve gotta say, my money is on Atlanta for sure. Although as weird as it sounds, I do hope the Phillies beat them haha, just for the shock and upset.

Lol. Hey, who doesn’t love the shock and upsets in sports? Haha. If M’s and Phillies pull off the upsets and shock the world, I’d be fine with that and especially with the Mariners side of things.

Exactly. That’s why sports and baseball is so great! The Cards had all the advantage yet still lost! Same with the Blue Jays!

That’s for sure! Imagine the ALCS and NLCS being filled with Mariners vs Guardians, Phillies vs the winner of the Padres/Mets series. 3 of those teams would definitely take away all predictions lol. Unless somewhere some Joe or Jane Random went completely out there and got something like that right.

I’m ready to have my heart in my throat all night tonight as we watch this high stakes elimination game for both the Mets and the Padres.

I see the Mets taking it but you can’t count out San Diego.

Oh that’s definitely understandable. Should be a good game with all the feelings mixing in from one moment to the next.

That’s true. San Diego can be a tough count out.

I mean they’ve shown that they can beat a 100 win team in the Mets. So I wouldn’t say this is an easy win. Plus, they made the playoffs, so they have to be a good team. This isn’t the Washington Nationals and their 55 wins or whatever we’re talking about lol.

San Diego had 89 wins this season, and while yes it’s not close to 100 wins, still nothing to scoff at too much.

Gonna wear my Scherzer jersey tonight, even tho I think Bassitt is pitching. I don’t have a jersey for him lol.

Oh no, I agree. This series one of the tougher for me to pick honestly. Padres have all the pieces to compete for a World Series run they just need to win the big games. So, definitely a team that can’t be overlooked. A pretty good team too. Bob Melvin I’d also say is a pretty good manager, a pretty nice run with Oakland and the budget ball often played there with rosters and etc. certainly not like the 55 win Nationals lol who clearly hit rebuild quick least feels like it after it being not too long ago after making that run and Soto being as young as he is still being there before the big trade.

Yeah, 89 wins is still pretty good imo. There seems to be more 100 win teams then ever each season these past few with how many we get now days. But still plenty of good records and clubs that didn’t reach that mark. I’d agree.

Nice! Lol. Sounds like a plan.
