THE CHILD AND THE PEST
Sugary_Paragraphs
Rika was so tempted to grab William and shove him back into her pocket, but he got out before she could and began taunting Vendetta. The girl blocked another chalk-monster attack, her face pale, as she continued trying to fight it off whilst listening to the two share their conversation. By the end of it, Vendetta had began her chase after William, leaving her in the cafeteria with Stewart. There was an awkward silence between them as all fighting stopped. Stewart looked curiously at Rika, cocking his head. "You're gonna attack again, right?" he asked eagerly. Rika sighed, staring at the monsters terrorizing the children. Okay, she knew there was something that would take them down easily, but what was it? She ducked Froggo's attack, hiding behind an overturned table. Stewart sat down beside her. "Aww, come onnnnnn, I gotta impress Vendettaaaaaa! How am I supposed to impress her if you're not doing anything?"
"Quiet. We're thinking."
Stewart fell silent, looking at Rika with a derpy grin. Then, unable to hold back anymore, he continued blabbing. "You know, I think there's something very similar about us; we're both sidekicks! Isn't that cool?"
"We're not a sidekick."
Tears spiked Stewart's eyes; he began to sniffle. Then, to Rika's amazement, the kid actually started bawling. The chalk monsters completely stopped what they were doing. Then the crying disease spread, from kid to kid. And soon enough, the entire cafeteria was randomly in tears, leaving Rika to wonder what the heck was going on. And soon her own eyes welled up in frustration.
The entire cafeteria was literally in tears.
Talk about chaos. Stewart soon hugged Rika, sobbing about something (he didn't know what anymore), letting out overly dramatic crying noises as Rika cried about.....something. The entire cafeteria was confused, and as if it couldn't get any worse....
.....The monsters began to break down.
And that was when Rika found it appropriate to stop time for a few minutes, regain her composure, resume time, and climb onto a table. "Everybody, it's okay--" Still more bawling. Rika sweatdropped. Only one thing to do. "WE'RE A SIDEKICK!"
Stewart stopped crying. He looked up at Rika, his eyes sparkly. "Y-You are....? ME TOO~! Can I kill you?"
"Er.....no. How about we finish this death battle thingie so we can get ice cream?"
"I like ice cream!"
"That's wonderful! Us too!" Rika aimed her hammer at Stewart's head; the demon ducked, pulling out his sword and slashing at Rika, who blocked his attack.
"Yaaaayyyy!"
"Yaaaayyyy!"
