Fae Cove

She looked him up and smiled. "Thank you! You have quite a nice name yourself!" She said and pulled off her trident to inspect it for a second. She traced her hand on a group of red pearls. One seemed to be missing. Funny- Whoever took it couldnt be alive right now or maybe it fell off. She shook it off and replaced her trident back on her back. She crossed her arms and looked at Asher again.

"Where do you come from? Because you dont really appear to be Human well you do but then again you dont." She asked and raised a eyebrow. She rubbed her neck and a bit of her tattoo poked out. The fish skull that was only apart of the entire skeleton that sat along on her collar bone showing. It reminded her of home and thats why she got it because even when she was gone/ banished it would always be her home. When she heard deer hooves she looked up thinking someone chases on into the school.

When seeing Artemis with a tall ass deer her eyes opened a slight fraction. "Holy fucking shit-" She mumbled before turning back to Asher. She would quiz Artemis on it later- right now she was talking to someone. A half smile was curled onto her lips. "Should we go get breakfast or are we going to keep sitting around here?" She asked and she stood up in her seat, hands still on the table.

Artemis Hunt

"Alright sounds good." She said with a nod. She didnt really know what deer ate either- she ate the deer not worrying about it. She just plucked up the biggest game she could get. She watched Lillian explain the situation of who was sitting there. "Who is your dormmate?" She asked because it almost sounded like Gigi who happened to be with Emery. Not the bathroom.

She watched Lillian with careful eyes and laughed when she called Loet a bitch. Loet stuck his head up before placing it back down. "Oh they havent but some kid has a big ass fire bird so I think ill be fine. He will stay in my room my roommate can fuck off." She snorted and crossed her arms. When Lillian brought out a jar she tilted her head and watched her and the food sizzled away and she looked at it in awe.

"Thats fucking cool mate." She said with a approving nod and laughed when she did the jazz hands. "Im going to grab food." She said though it was more for Loet then it was here. She ate yesterday so she wasnt all that hungry. She stood up and Loet slowly stood up after her. She reached up and patted their head before weaving through the tables of people. She stood in line for the breakfast thing and looked at all the food.

So much for all these people? What were those red things that are shaped like a triangle {Strawberries}? And what was that mushy shit in bowls {Oatmeal}? "Ok Loet you need to tell me what you want because I have no clue what you eat." She whispered and the deer flicked his ears. People were still staring but not as many as when she walked in. She grabbed a tray and started to walk down the line of food and picked up some of the fruits placing them on a tray.

Loet continued to pick and the lady gave her weird looks and she glared right back at her. Once she got a good pile of fruit and nuts. She shook her head slightly and slid back to sit down with Lillian. "Alright im back." She said and Loet started to eat of the tray in Artemis' hand.

Nick watched, amazed. “Yeah! Yeah, that.” Her eyes seemed to lit up at the teen’s experience. “Hm? Oh, call me Nick!“ She gave a warm smile as she continued to admire the knife skills. “How’d you learn to do that? Oh, well, where did you learn to do that?” She raised an eyebrow and tilted her head, amazed and confused, but more amazed.

((Omg sorry for the short-ass post my inspiration is running low))

Dane groaned and moved to the side, seriously not wanting to be bothered right now. “Hrgngngr Shut the fuck up.. I’m trying to sleep...” He commanded, but- something seemed strange about his voice, it was rather.. feminine for his usual somewhat annoying voice, maybe he needed to clear his throat or something?..

Quill noticed that his voice sounded feminine and he took a moment coughing in his throat, he looked at Dane and did the puppy eyes tactic, it appeared that he was wearing one of her many hoodies she had in her closet, he smiled at her,"Please get up? For me...." he said at her hoping that would do the trick , he groaned and jumped over her landing on the bed and looked at her,"Please?" he re-positioned the hoodie that he was wearing even though it wasn't his he liked it a lot though it was cool and smelled like her which was also cool.

Leo walked into the cafe and his hands together with a wide smile plastered across his face. "Hello, students!" He leaned on a corner with rather fake enthusiasm though it wasn't too obvious. He just didn't want to ruin every else's morning. "Today we'll be taking a short trip to a partnering school and staying for only a night to help out a bit!" She smiled and sat in a nearby chair in front of the room. "I'll need you to make sure your friends are here as well in the Cafe so we can hurry and get what we need out the way!"

Dane growled back, just wanting to be left alone. “Eyughhh just 30 more minutesss...” He said, growling a bit more at Quill, angry his sleep was being interrupted. She moved where she couldn’t see Quill at all, because 1, the bitch was trying to wake him up, and 2, sunlight was radiating through there and she wasn’t going to wake up. no way.

Quill looked at her and pouted ash he pushed her off the bed surprisingly he probably couldn't do that again he heard the thump of her body hitting the floor as he got up from the bed and grabbed vans and he put them on tying the shoes rather quickly and speedily he looked at her "Wake up bitch!" he said surprisingly as he covered his mouth he blushed as he looked at her hoping she wouldn't murder and hide his body at the school.

Interactions: Knight boi Knight boi (the target)

Dane wasn’t expecting to be thrown off the bed, obvious to her reaction. “Ow!- Fuck!- What the hell was that for?-“ He shouted at Quill, his voice still having that weird feminine tone to it. At being called a botch she was about to throw Quill into the floor but decided not to since it was too early for this shit. “And what the fuck are you doing with my jacket?-“ Dane asked, still in the floor.

Lillian
Cello. Cello. (Artemis)
Lillian closed the jar and sealed it, popping it back in her bag. "Gigi, bubbly girl. Hyperactive. I'd explain what she looks like, but y'know..." She waved a hand in front of her face, taking a jab at her own blindness. She grinned playfully at Artemis and zipper up her bag, slinging it once more over her shoulder. By the time she had done all of that, Artemis had already excused herself to get food. Lillian shrugged, contempt to wait for the other girl to get back to answer her questions. "Thirsty..." She mumbled to herself. She let out a yearning sigh. Life sucked when there was no omnipotent being telling you how do anything and everything. She missed her Throdog Ehye already. Also, Gigi got her all this food, but didn't bother with any damn water.

"Stupid... dumb... stupid..." She was grumbling to herself when Artemis returned, setting her tray down on the table. "Ah." Lillian straightened up her posture, having had slouched subconsciously as she whined to herself. "You are indeed back. Crazy how that works." She commented with a nod, voice once more oozing irony. "I'll just assume you have the whole deer bitch thing sorted out. You seem responsible." She said absentmindedly, not really believing the words coming out of her own mouth. "Anyways, did you have any reason to sit with me or were you just captivated by my troves of beauty and overflowing charm." She joked, flipping her hair dramatically.

Lillian turned her head to the sound of the headmaster talking. Her expression sunk as he finished with his little announcement, his words stabbing into her like knives. "Damnit all." She groaned, burying her face in her hands. "What a bunch of bullshit. I only just got settled here. Fuck me..." She grumbled, mood succesfully soured.

She nodded slightly to the girl. "Gigi. Shes the one who just helped me when I got attacked." She said and she snorted. The girl lied to Lillian oh how the events played out- taht would be fun to watch. She was watching the girl before looking at Loet who finished with their food and was looking at her.

"Stop looking at me like that." She mumbled and the deer laid back down. When the girl said something about the deer she smiled.

"Yea it will work out. No one gets a choice in the matter." She shrugged and turned her head to the headmaster who was saying something about going to another school. Well shit thats not going to be good. She glanced at Loet before looking at Lillian.

"I know right?" She laughed.

Lapis Ashford and Amethyst Lightwood

Lapis looked at the girl and flashed a half smile. "I taught myself really though it does involve getting stabbed fingers." He joked though it had happened before. He remembered Amethyst healing him a couple times because of it. He flexed his fingers before looking up at the short Headmaster who was saying something about going to another school. What the hell? They just got here and havent even started classes let alone settle it.

He rubbed his face and looked back at Nick. "Oh yay field trip! Call dibs on sitting next you you though. You seem cool." He nodded to her.

Amethyst was walking back into the school and sat down at a empty table. She knew there was an announcement so she wanted to be on time. She folded her wings closer to her and looked at the headmaster. Going to another school to help them? Was it Westview? No no it couldnt be. It got shut down due to the students. She let out a breath and rolled her shoulders out. "Happy thoughts only." She whispered to herself and tapped her fingers on the table.

She was quite entranced by the deer near the masked girl. Why did she have one? Wasnt she a hunter? She shook her head slightly and felt the dandelion crown on her head.

Lillian
Cello. Cello. (Artemis)
Lillian hated the idea of going to another school already. She was on a clock, after all. She had no time for any of this, she had to gather ingrediants. The thought of skipping crossed her mind, but that didn't seem like a great idea either. She was fucked no matter how this went down. "Seems we will have to just deal with this bullshit." She said begrudgingly with a sigh.

"Now, what is all this about getting attacked? Did something happen?"

Lillian propped her head up on one arm, apping a finger against the side of her face with full attention directed at Artemis as she waited for a proper explanation.

Grita & Ava
Location: Cafeteria
Interaction/Mention: Spencypoo Spencypoo (Headmaster) Cello. Cello. (White-Haired Girl, Girl near Buck 1) Firelie Firelie (Girl Near Buck 2)
50dd4bff8e3db96c9ab7c09592d4534f.jpgc1e6d3f5896ab1793a71265ffa6bd07b.png

Soon Ava returned with trays that she and Grita quickly filled with their respective meals, with Grita's easily looking three times as large even though she hadn't gotten more than usual. Taking a glance at Ava's tray as they walked away from the buffet, Grita realized fairly quickly that Ava hadn't been joking when she admitted to seeking optimal dietary intake stuff. If Grita hadn't been right next to her the entire time, she would've assumed she'd magicked a ruler and measuring scale just to fully optimize the scale of her portions.

But she wasn't about to give her flak for it, if anything Ava was more knowledgeable about that kind of stuff than Grita was. So she merely turned her attention back to her tray as they walked. Steadying her tray in one hand, Grita's other hand aimed for her breakfast and pinched a piece of meat between her pincers and look it over as she moved.

"Hmm, don't think I've ever had this particular cut before." She mused as Ava slowed to a stop.

The taller girl looked around, the Cafeteria had notably filled out in the time it took for them to grab their meals. People had come and gone, with the seating dynamic shifting around with each change. Normally Ava wouldn't have given such a thing much thought, just sitting wherever and finishing her meal. But she and Grita had arrived together, assembled their meals together, and had been interacting fairly consistently since yesterday. It wouldn't exactly be a very thoughtful thing to do, so coordination would be key.

"Any seating preferences?" she asked, only for Grita to give a slight shake of the head.

"Nah, people should be testing the waters for a few days until Table groups start getting established, so we can just sit around wherever." Grita shrugged as she used her pincers to ring he cut of meet into her maw "I know you didn't go to school yourself, but-"

"I've already told you, my Dad sat me through the instructional videos."

But just as Grita began her plan of 'Just kinda of sitting wherever' he appeared. Ava noticed him first, of course, but said nothing as the Headmaster of the Academy himself strode in and greeted everyone. Even from where she stood, she could read the oddly forced energy in his words as he made an announcement. As it hadn't been long since they'd arrived, she assumed that he was going to give them some form of preamble for the classes they'd start today. Instead he blindsides her and a number of other students with a rather impromptu field trip that they would be going on to another School.

Ava didn't need heightened perception to recognize the confusion that was evident on more than one of her peers, and she'd be lying if she said that she wasn't immediately suspicious of this trip. Not only was it far too early for any large scale field trip like that to be anticipated, but to another school? Why? What exactly did that other school need help with? Why were students being contracted to help an entirely separate academy anyway? And for only one night? She figured that there was some extremely necessary behind the scenes information that she was missing out on.

Maybe it was just something they did in the everyday world that she was unfamiliar with, perhaps something not covered in her Dad's instructional videos. She would've entertained that notion if a number of the other students didn't look just as equally befuddled by the announcement as she was. But there were of course differences in the reaction to the surprise, as was to be expected. While the two girls near the out of place Buck seemed to agree on the inconvenience of the sudden trip while a guy elsewhere was openly celebrating the prospect.

"Okay... that kinda came out of nowhere." Grita noted as she started walking again.

"Understatement." Ava stated as she followed, turning her attention to her roommate again only to realize that she'd followed through on her goals. Grita had plopped down at a relatively empty table that had only recently been utilized by a single girl with white hair who seemed to have been saying something to herself prior to Grita plopping down in the seat across from her.

"Maybe it's some kind of joint orientation thing?" she suggested to Ava, before turning and nodding to the White Haired girl "Hey there, saw an open table and figured 'why not?'"

Utilizing her dexterous finger-work, Grita began eating, with several chunks of hash browns disappearing down her maw before she continued speaking.

It was at that point she jerked a thumb towards herself, "I'm Khegrit Khanate, just Grita works. And the serious-looking one over here's Ava."

Though she wasn't sure if Grita's plan was exactly proper, Ava hadn't been given much reason to doubt her roommate so far. So after examining the White-Haired girl and noting the flowers, Ava finally took her seat as well. As she sat down, she adjusted the bandages over her missing eye . She raised a cured sausage and looked it over before speaking again.

"He specifically mentioned us 'Helping' them." she recited before shaking her head "Doesn't fit any Orientation I'm aware of."

She laughed and a pain ripped through her side. She clutched it and leaned her head on the table. "Yea. Emery- Some damn ghoul tried to eat me because damn Bitch Buck attacked me last night. Apparently that Ghoul cant handle himself around blood even I dont go that crazy-" She said with a shake of her head.

She twisted in her seat slightly and yawned. "When will we go? I hate waiting." She mumbled and looked at Loet who was starting to walk down the table area to stop at some kid to steal food from her plate. They let out a scream and tried to hit Loet but Artemis was up and gripped their wrist tightly before they could.

"Touch my deer again and I will not hesitate to rip your throat out." She snarled and the girl nodded quickly. She released her wrist and patted Loets head before returning to her seat. She rested her head on her hands and blinked slowly, calmer than she was a couple minutes ago.

Loet flopped on the ground and looked at Artemis but she was looking around the lunchroom again. She almost wondered if she could get into a fight here- she was bored and needed something to do. "Damn bitches try touching my deer again." She mumbled out of nowhere and let her eyes wander to Fae who was still sitting with the boy. She was quite curious as to why Fae sat there then again Fae was a friendly outgoing person.

Amethyst Lightwood

She was lost in thought when two girl approached her table. Both fairly tall and cool looking and the one with pinchers started to talk. Her gaze drifted upward to look at her and she smiled. She flicked her wings and nodded. "Thats quite alright! I wont bother you if you dont want me to!" She signed still smiling. She was just fine with staying off to the side. Out of view and unnoticed or she could talk to these people.

They seemed nice enough and her gaze shifted to the table before looking back up at them. "Im Amethyst but you can call me Thia." She signed and rubbed her face. When they mentioned something about what the headmaster said she tilted her head curiously. She remembered that and didnt really think anyone else was paying attention to it. Maybe they were going to go help fix a school or meet new people.

"Maybe the school needs help to be fixed?" She signed, echoing her thoughts. She laid her head against the wall and studied the two girls again.

Grayson- Languishing in hatred by himself thank u
'Mr possessed rich ass snob'. He could handle the rich ass snob part, heard it many times, but he was NOT happy about the first part. Mister Possessed. Who did she think she was speaking to him like that? He didn't like being called Mister, and he certainly didn't like the mention of possession. Insensitive. It made him huff immaturely, annoyed with Amethyst.

The pale boy was now seated near the doors of the cafeteria. Alone, with his arms crossed and one leg over the other. Defensive and unwelcoming. Grayson was not happy about what Leo had announced. Not in the slightest. Grayson came here for classes, not for a fun little sleepover at another school. Of course Mister Goody-Two-Shoes was not about to bicker and argue with the headmaster over it, but he could internally complain and question the actions of the higher up. The lack of specifics Grayson found strange, suspicious even. 'To help them out'. Whatever that was meant to mean.

Much to Grayson's fiery displeasure Artemis had now brought in a pet. Or breakfast. Who really knew with that girl. It was an elk. A big one. Grayson's scowl could only deepen. People ate in here. It was bad etiquette not to mention bad hygiene to bring beasts into the room. Though, if that was the case half the students would have to get up and leave. Since their behaviour was more brutish and animal-like than he previously expected. Especially Lapis, Artemis, the two barbarians from yesterday, and Anne who Grayson shared his dorm with. All brutes.

A cup of coffee was set on the table in front of him, the boy's compromise of a meal. He was not a breakfast eater, so the hot drink was the most he would be indulging in this morning. Coffee with milk and no sugar.

While she was lost in conversation with Lillian she didnt pay attention to Loet. A bad move on her part really as Loet wondered around the tables and stopped next to a boy. A well dress, rich snobby boy. The one she was making fun of pigeon for liking. Loet started towards the boy with a hard glint in his eyes- while he was a majestic creature he was still terrifying in a way.

He bent down around the boy to the cup and stuck his tongue out to lap at it. He snorted and sat down still lapping at the cup. Apparently Loet liked coffee. Artemis looked up from where she was sitting to see Loet next to the boy. She rolled her eyes and let out a sigh. "This is going to be tougher than I thought. Ill be back Lillian, Bitch Buck is drinking someones drink-" She said as she moved quickly from her table over to his.

It wasnt to hard to see over everyone to where the deer was and she started towards them faster. She pulled the cup away from Loet and he let out a weird sound. She glared at the deer and sat the cup down with a ringing sound. "Loet Vance Hunt Bad!" She whispered sternly. She had decided upon the deers name on the ride from the forest that morning. She turned to Grayson and had a thin smile under her mask.

"He does this alot." She snorted and crossed her arms. She sat down at the table uninvited and look the boy up and down. Loet rested his head on Artemis leg with the horn brushing against her arm and bicep. She pushed him away slightly and Loet snorted. Damn deer.

"So anything I can get you to repay for Bitch Buck stealing your drink?" She asked and raised a eyebrow. This was her attempt at being nice.

Grayson- Cello. Cello. (Artemis + Loet bitch ass)
The young male had been pretty zoned out when the deer had come over, sticking it's nasty tongue into his cup of coffee. Grayson jumped and made a loud sound of disgust. Animals should not drink coffee. Not his coffee anyway. For obvious reasons Grayson no longer wanted it, but he wasn't going to let Loet slurp it up either. Unhealthy. Before he could snatch the cup away from him, Hunter had arrived to intervene. Lucky him.

Grayson had placed a gentle hand right on the forehead of the deer, soft encouragement for the animal to not go for the drink again. Also just encouragement for the big animal to go away. Grayson saw scary things constantly, he showed no reaction of fear to this beast.

He recoiled his hand once Hunter was scolding the animal, wiping it down on his blazer as if Loet was riddled with germs. Hunter inquired what she could do to repay him for the animal's behaviour.

"Nothing, thank-you." He muttered, nudging the coffee cup away on the table with a finger. Disgusted.

"You can just keep-" Grayson paused, realising he really was about to call the deer by it's stupid little name, "Loet Vance Hunt, away from everyone." The male looked bluntly up at Artemis and shifted in his chair, still holding a large dislike for her. She was violent, attacked Amethyst in the carriage, was ill-mannered in general. "If you cannot handle an animal, perhaps you should not own one." It wasn't intended to come across as rude, more so unwanted advice to the girl.

Lillian
Cello. Cello. (Artemis)
Normally Lillian was rather chilled out when it came to weird things, seeing as she was pretty much the president of weird, but this whole deer situation was getting out of hand. She sighed as she heard Artemis threaten somebody over the deer, then once again she heard more mischief over it. She was worried about what Artemis told her about the bathroom, but by the time she had more questions prepared for asking Artemis had moved on. Lillian shrugged casually, happy to have the little drama center Artemis and her deer was somewhere else, and reached once more into her bag.

She pulled out the brick of a phone she carried around with her, as well as gigis more modern model, and set them on the table in front of her. This sudden change in plans meant a change in scheduling, and seeing as the device acted like her little secretary, she thought it only fair to keep the device updated.

She didn't really care if anyone thought her weird for mumbling to a phone like she was. Let them think what they wanted to think.

Artemis Hunt

She rolled her shoulders and glared at him. She patted Loets head and looked down at him before looking back when he said something. Her eyes narrowed in distaste. She already didnt like this stuck up snob. What did pigeon see in him anyway? She laughed at the thought before clearing her throat.

"First off- Bitch Buck isnt bothering anyone he is just merely curious. Second off- you touch him again we will have a problem of me ripping your eyeballs out and shoving them down your throat yea?" She asked though she wasnt really stating a question. It was mroe of if he understood or not because if he did try to tuck Loet again , issues were going to go down. When he said something about not handling a animal she scoffed.

She tipped forward so her face was about a foot away from his, her dense green eyes much like a forests pinned on him. "Maybe you should keep your girlfriend, Pigeon on a leash. She does seem to lash out more that Bitch Buck." She said really referring to the snips of conversation she picked up from other people. The girl lost her cool because Grayson said something to piss her off.

She leaned back and crossed her arms behind her head. "Or maybe she should keep you on a leash, how interesting that would be." She said with a grin. She was entertained at the thought of this. "I mean Pigeon does follow you around like a lost puppy. How did you do that if she continued hmm?" She asked and raised a eyebrow as if she was curious. Maybe she could use the tactic on Emery so he wouldnt fucking try to eat her and she could win the bet.

She adjusted her mask before Loet looked up at her with bright brown eyes. He poked her leg and she growled at him and he immediately sunk back down to the floor. So he didnt like that sound so it could be useful to tame the wild deer she picked up no less than a hour ago. "Have funny with your doggy spoiled ass." She said and stood up. She tapped Loet and he stood up as well, they quickly moved t a empty table away from people.

Grayson- Cello. Cello. (Artemis)
Grayson could only stare disinterested as Hunter insulted and threatened him. He expected that much from this girl. Angry and predictable.

The comment about Amethyst lashing out, not like he could deny that. Pigeon had shouted at him not long ago, she wasn't in his good books at the moment. He only muttered a defensive, "She's not my girlfriend." in response.

And then followed the comment to put Grayson on a leash like a dog. Pure embarrassment. He could feel the anger bubbling up, trying to exhale deeply through his nose to diminish it. But not even his scowl could stop the blush warming his face. How humiliating. Hunter wanted a reaction and she got it. Hunter was insufferable.

Grayson grumbled a "Shut up," and glared to the side, refusing to look at Artemis while his skin warmed. She was still talking about Amethyst and the dog theme. This is why Grayson wanted to distance himself, so nobody teased him over foolish things like this. It was shameful. He wanted to look prestigious, dignified, untouchable. And Artemis had a point, having Amethyst near him ruined that image. Small, light haired girl with wings hovering around the pale creepy dark posh boy was probably quite a combo.

He looked back at her. A sudden calm manner, similar to his usual self but very different. The male uncrossed his leg, crossed the other one over and leaned back in the chair. His icy gaze remained locked onto Hunter during this movement, as if wanting the girl to watch him. Grayson stayed silent, right up until she was walking away.

The male tilted his head up, traced his tongue along his upper lip and teeth and inquired a very loud, "Who's Aaron?" to grab her attention. It was asked gently, sultry, the same flirtatious tone from yesterday. "Tragic, that." A breathy laugh drifted out of his mouth, thin smile. His behaviour had turned very passive aggressive, not to mention the suggestive and low purr in his voice was completely inconsistent with how he usually acted or spoke.

She was starting to calm done when Grayson said something else. Something about Aaron. Memories flashed through her head of the woods. A boy. A broken heart. No one knew about that not really even Fae. She gripped her head slightly and Loet looked at her. She shook it off the the best of her ability but she slowly stood up and walked over to Grayson stopping about a foot away from him.

"No idea how you got a name like that. I know no Aaron." A lie straight from her mouth. She wasnt going to let this boy tease her about something that happened years ago even if she wore the scars to prove what happened. He was a dark secret meant to be locked away forever. As memories bubbled up again she reached out and wrapped her hand around Graysons neck, finger nails digging in.

Honestly- A appropriate response on her part. Well she thought as much anyway. "Ever fucking mention a name like that again I will not hesitate to blow your head off." She hissed in his ear. She stood back up straight and wiped her hands off on her shirt. She crossed her arms and a smile played at her lips.

"Dont be afraid to keep Pigeon at your side. Build her up and tear her down- its a fun game to play. She is a fragile baby bird- ruin it." She suggested though it was nothing of the sorts. She loved playing that game with other people as long as she was not at the broken hearted line. She walked away again and Loet snorted. He was not to happy about what happened and Artemis knew that.

"Dont look at me like that." She mumbled as she sat down, Loets head resting on her thigh. She was looking at the swirling tattoos on her left forearm. Moon phases for the goddess her parents always said. We are followers of her dont forget that.

Leo Staton
Leo wore a neutral, almost calm expression and gave a sigh as he stood back up. "I suggest you all get packing, we'll all be leaving tonight or early tomorrow morning and I'll only announce it twice before we leave then I won't call anymore but those who still stay will be forced out of the school." He turned to the exit, "We won't be holding any classes today but I need all members of the student council to meet in the library on the second level. I'm sure the leader will understand what to talk about." He then turned and walked out of the Cafeteria and into his own office.

Though Grita was busy pinching piece after piece of her meal into her mouth, she still kept the White Haired girl in the corner of her gaze. It was fairly easy with her her eye stalks, she just tilted them at a lower angle to spread her field of view a bit more. But just as she was pinching another pincer full of egg towards her mouth, Grita noticed their new acquaintance moving in a fairly odd manner. She hadn't responded to her greeting, and instead was moving her hands in what she had initially assumed were a sporadic method. But the pincer full of eggs paused mere inches away from her mouth, which hung open in preparation for the meal before it.

She'd seen this before, rarely but definitely. It was never really something she focused on before, especially since it was only when she was busy with something else that it would occur. Not long after she started Hairdressing on the Surface world, she'd noticed an odd peculiarity on certain television broadcasts. TVs were commonly set up so that any clients could watch them while getting their hair done, and Grita noticed that every so often when someone was making a speech or public announcement there was a chance that they'd have a small box in the corner with someone doing similar hand signs. Now while she was working, she couldn't really focus on them too much and had assumed that it was just part of the program.

But now she had a sneaking suspicion there was more to it than that, and figured that it was something Topsiders did. With her knowledge of the Topside still barren in certain areas, the next step of action was obviously to consult with her Roommate.

Ava examined the sausage on her fork, considering the composition of it. There could've been any combination of meats and spices inside, as she was fully aware that no two recipes of sausage were alike. She was gambling with them here, assuming they'd offer the necessary calories and protein to facilitate her day. She didn't have Grita's HUD, something that she'd been told keeps track of stats and effects, so she couldn't no for sure until tasting it. Before she even had the chance, she was nudged in the side by Grita, and turned her one eye on her briefly only for Grita to lean close.

"Hey, any idea what she's doing?" she asked, prompting Ava to give a brief glance towards the White Haired Girl. Ava took one look at her before glancing back to her roommate.

"Sign Language," she explained "commonly used by mutes. She gave her name as Amethyst, though apparently she'll accept the label Thia. Furthermore, she's offered the idea that this field trip is due to whatever Academy we're going to requiring fixing. A notion that doesn't explain why the staff would have us students partake in the construction efforts."

"Oh, well maybe its gonna be spun as some kind of team building exercise?" Grita offered, which only made Ava roll her eyes.

"Headmaster's enthusiasm was forced, and his description makes it seem as though its some kind of uncoordinated slapdash initiative set up only a few hours ago." Ava turned back to her plate "I'll hope my assumption's incorrect, because this will no doubt cut into our class time."

Ava bit into the sausage finally, carefully tasting for any peculiars as she drummed a free hand along the table beside the plate. She was sure they would start their classes today, as it was the only logical next step after the introductory segment they'd been engaging in since their arrival. But then all of a sudden some out of nowhere Field Trip is announced? Ava couldn't help but feel a little suspicious. She'd let things continue to play out, but she'd be keeping a close eye on the particulars of this field trip. All that had been explained to them so far was that they were going to an Academy that was partnered up with this one in order to 'help out' in some non-specific way.

Taking another bite of her Sausage, Ava figured keeping a closer eye on the staff moving forward was the logical choice for progression.

But while Ava seemed eager to stay on the topic of her suspicions of the field trip, Grita was still puzzling over the concept of Amethyst's Sign Language. Specifically because something didn't add up about it for some reason. It didn't take long for Grita to realize why, as it had occurred not ten minutes ago. Being mute meant being unable to speak, so why was it that she had very clearly heard her voice before they'd gotten their breakfast? The only answer to that question was clear: Consult the Roommate.

"Hey Ava?" Grita nudged her again before tilting her head in confusion "If she's mute then why was it that I spotted her yelling at... Um..."

Grita briefly stood in her seat as her eye stalks went tall, she scanned the room before pointing to the guy that she'd spotted Amethyst yelling at earlier, "That guy."

She looked back down to Ava, "She was totally giving him the business earlier."

Ava closed her eye as she finished chewing the rest of her sausage, "Then she's only partially Mute, maybe selective or something. I don't know, there's different types of Mute, Khegrit."

While Grita sat back down with a look of interest, Ava found her eye drawn back to the Headmaster as he spoke again. This time he implored they start packing for the trip, saying they'd be leaving tonight or tomorrow. The suddenness of it was almost even more suspicious, didn't folks usually give a week's notice before school events? That was what the Instructional Videos had said, anyway. Ava resumed eating, only briefly looking up upon hearing that student council members would be gathering in the Library.

"Hey, didn't you sign up for Student Council?" Grita asked as the Headmaster took his leave.

"Yeah, I can only hope we'll be more informed on whatever this Trip is supposed to be." She shrugged before returning to the consumption of her Breakfast.

Grayson- Cello. Cello. (Artemis)
Grayson had sat up properly again, was about to stand and get a replacement coffee when he noticed Hunter stalking back for whatever reason. The young male seemed back to normal. Not pleased about her return.

“Aaron.” He bluntly repeated the name she had said, questioning as to why she had returned just to mention whoever that was. Grayson looked up at her, mixture of impatience and confusion. “What on earth are you talking about?”

Then Hunter's hand was at his throat, hissing a threat near his ear. Not like he was going to listen, she could try talking like a civilised human being and see where that got her.

“Unhand. Me.” Grayson's teeth gritted in a wince, seething on the spot and trying to slap her wrists away. She had the audacity to touch him with her grubby hands, sink the nails into his skin. It hurt and he obviously did not like it. Who would. Probably Emery.

Hunter had released his neck and was now talking about him and Pigeon again, something about toying with her. Grayson narrowed his eyes with distaste at Hunter. Grayson was not that kind of person. Not intentionally. He didn’t enjoy playing around with peoples emotions for entertainment purposes. The boy only wanted to study and graduate with high marks. That was the only reason he was here. Grayson rubbed the scratched up skin of his neck, rather grumpy. He was getting pretty sick and tired of everyone beating on him. Verbally and physically. He was only human, he was not accustomed to the pain. Only the start of the second day and the young male was feeling very worse for wear. Grayson did have a fleeting moment of doubt, questioning if he was suited to survive an entire year amongst these people. The male wondered if other humans were having it as bad as him, or if the snob was just getting a special case of the brutality. It was beginning to weigh on him.

He muttered, “You’re deranged.” and stood up preparing to leave. Hunter and Loet had slunk off to a different table, thankfully. The headmaster had said something about a student council meeting. Anything to get away from all these barbarians. He’d get there before everyone else, browse the library books until the meeting, not get attacked. It will be good. Grayson hoped those on the council were likeminded, peaceful. Not into yelling or threats or hitting him. It would be a pleasant change from the past 24 hours.

Gigi- Firelie Firelie (Lillian)
It took a few minutes but eventually Gigi was happily trotting back into the cafeteria. Maybe trotting was the wrong choice of word, since there was now a giant deer residing in the room. Big boy. Gigi looked at it and only one thought came to mind. Venison sausages. But she continued to make her way to Lillian. Gigi wasn’t a ghoul to hunt and kill food, she bought from the butchers and ate things already dead. That didn't make the deer any less appealing, though.

She plopped back down on her seat next to Lillian with a loud sigh.

“Phew! Busy morning.” She smiled at Lillian, picking up a knife and fork to finally begin her own breakfast. “Boys, right?” She cut some raw bacon into bite sized pieces, smiling while she chewed. “How’d you get on? Behave? Sorry I got caught up for ages. Did you finish all your breakfast? Want some of mine?”

There was a small pastry and a boiled egg on her plate to try draw attention from the raw meat, but she nudged them away with her fork. No interest in eating any of that.

"Was the jam good? I've always wanted to make jam. Looks so delightful." She popped a piece of chicken in her mouth, chewing thoughtfully. "The chunky jam looks a bit odd, but I'm sure it's just as nice. You like jam? That bread looked so plump and soft too, I'd love to try bread. You seen green guy and the wife?" Yes Gigi, ask the blind girl if she's seen people.

There was some movement, and Gigi was pulling her ugly little tote bag from under the table to rustle through it's contents. She pulled out a small shaker of Paprika, dusting it over her plate of raw meat.

"What was it I heard about a trip? Could hear Mister-Man-Leo from down the hallway. Funny little guy, isn't he?" Her hand paused, realising calling the headmaster 'funny' and 'little' probably wasn't very respectful. "Don't tell him I said that, though."

Emery- Cello. Cello. (Artemis)

Food was how Emery was going to apologise. Ghoul food.

While done in an act of innocent good faith, dropping the corpse of a tiny mouse onto Hunter's table was probably not the most welcoming idea. But to him, he had done a nice thing. This would show he was sorry. In his own warped perspective. Humans tended to hand gifts when they apologised, an act of good faith. That was his gift.

After leaving his room he was making his way to the cafeteria and heard the scuttling of it's tiny feet. Heightened senses and all that. Followed by a few minutes of trying to swipe and fish it out from the corner of a hallway. The thing was terrified, scampering under benches and bins to try flee from the Ghoul.

Gigi had told him to apologize and be nice, so maybe she was to blame for this behaviour. But Gigi probably wasn't expecting him to do something like this. She probably meant like a gift basket or a muffin or something. He still had to find things for Dominique and Dayana, but for now this was a good start. To him, at least.

Emery didn't say anything as he came to stand at the table Hunter was seated at, dropping the small rodent on the table in front of her with a soft morbid 'thump'. In his anticipation to give her the little dead mouse, he hadn't even acknowledged the giant deer. Nor had he acknowledged what Leo was talking about, something about a trip. Not the boy's focus right now.

He was staring down at Hunter, in silent encouragement for her to look and inspect his gift and show enthusiasm. Like a cat bringing in unwanted dead things to show their owner. He was waiting for his praise.

She looked up from her arm only to look over at Loet would was starting to stand up. What was she thinking about trying to bring a deer into the school? How was she going to get him to the other school? Most importantly would they try to eat him? She shook her head slightly to clear her mind and she would figure it out when the time came to it. She looked up at the headmaster briefly while he said something about packing? Why were they packing didnt shit need to get done here?

She felt a thought slip into her head and she shot a look at Fae. She was turned around from the male and facing her.

"What the hell is with the deer? Is it the one that attacked you?"

She nodded to the thought, to confirm Faes questions and the red-head turned back around to face the boy. When she turned back around she was meet face to face with Emery who had dropped a dead mouse on her table. A mouse? How the hell could he catch one of those- those buggers were hard to catch. She preferred the bigger game as she could get more out of them.

She was looking at the mouse then back up at Emery with a raised eyebrow before something clicked in her mind. An apology. From Emery and for some reason that made her smile. She stood up and swung herself over the table. She wrapped her arms around his waist before quickly letting go. A short hug as a thank you. She sat down on the table and looked at Emery.

"Did you hear about the school shit? Also we have no classes today." She said, pretty much forgetting what happened earlier. She leaned back on her arms and turned her gaze to Loet briefly before watching him walk up to the mouse. He nudged it with his muzzle and she ran a hand over her face.

"Damnit Bitch Buck you cant eat that. You already ate and had a damn glass of coffee!" She said with a softer voice. Probably one of the only times she has really been openly nice to anything. She shoved Loets head away from the mouse and he snorted, swinging his head. Artemis snapped her hand out of the way before getting a impaled arm. Damn deer will be the death of her.

"Also Emery, Bitch Buck. Bitch Buck, Emery." She said then laughed. This school was going to ruin her from the inside out- First she got a deer then she hugged someone. Aye Aye Aye in her books.

Emery- Cello. Cello. (Hunter + Loet)
Emery did enjoy physical touch, though was surprised for it to come from Hunter out of all people. He didn't question it though, absentmindedly accepting the hug without complaint. The boy laid his head down on top of hers and held the female closer to himself, very casual about the whole thing.

"I only ate one leg." Was his singular proud comment. Which was true. The ghoul had only nibbled one leg off, a surprising feat of self control from the hungry male. Usually he'd just pop the entire rodent in his mouth and crunch down, bones and all.

A sniff of her head. Just to check. Merely curious. A hand curling into the hair of her ponytail. Just to check. Merely curious. Innocent.

And then Hunter had pulled away and leaned against the table. But Emery followed, closing the gap between them in a slightly hostile manner. Less curious. Close to her, signs of aggression much like earlier. It seemed the male had still not learned how to react well to those that were edible. He did not pay attention to her mentioning no classes or the trip or anything.

But his behaviour paused, eyes drifting to Loet as the female introduced them. Hunter's wound was bandaged well, containing the tang of blood and meat from hanging thick in the air. There was something else. The giant deer. A big snack on legs. Fast food. That's what was in his senses right now.

Emery mumbled a ditzy, "Who's this-" blue eyes slithered over this hunk of a meal. "-Fat thing?". Voice soft, unfocused. Somehow after everything he had eaten the past day, the boy was starving. Ravenous like always.

But the ghoul knew exactly what it was. It was not Bitch Buck. It was breakfast. Second breakfast.

He snatched an arrow from Hunter's quiver, now making a feral step to climb on top of the table towards the animal, showing all intentions to just go kill and eat the beast right in the middle of the cafeteria.
