Vampunk I appreciate the names and vocabulary you're using. If you don't mind me asking, how are you coming up with them? Also, is there a particular culture you'd like us to consider when selecting names for our characters?

In terms of my character concept, I'm thinking a wise and resourceful apothecary. Not much of a combatant, but skilled in investigation, clandestine schemes, medicine, and potion craft. Assuming that's an appropriate concept for your roleplay.

Oh, they're mostly just derived from Hungarian words
I'd say go with anything that works in the given context, though more eastern European and old English names would probably work best.

And that's definitely appropriate. Most of the Ellenàllàs battles are won or lost on that front. Fighting an Upir is easier than actually preparing to do so.

If it's not too much trouble could you expand on the lore and details of Sôtet Barlang? Things like important neighborhoods & buildings, the city's law enforcement, major economic activity, significant NPCs, and a brief overview of how the humans are faring?

Also, I'd love a vocabulary list over in the lore thread.

Thanks for the new lore entry on the capital. I especially like the Szàrny - swooping vampire constables make for a very gothic & evocative setting. I imagine their passing shadows make even the bravest mortals catch their breath.

I don't have strong feelings either way. I'm just happy you're including one.

As far as my character goes, I've been researching apothecaries and I've come up with Fergus's staple medicines. Do let me know if you have a problem with any of them or if you have a suggestion. Here's what I came up with.

• Willow Water = mild pain relieving elixir
• Ginger & Mint Salve = topical decongestant
• Honey Paste = topical antiseptic
• Ice-cloth = anti-inflammatory cooling bandages
• Laudanum = opioid anesthetic

Nearly all of them are based on historical remedies. Though ice-cloth, while trivial, is a product of pure fantasy. So if you object to its existence I understand. Also, I plan on having Fergus belong to an ancient apothecary guild that predates the Upir's rule - the Potio Forum. The guild has little influence and a very small membership, but I was hoping they could be a thing.

Like most of my characters, Fergus's background is shaping up to be quite extensive. It's my favorite part of character creation and it shows.
