MENTIONS : @Clementine @Angel Evans @Allcure @Nico @Garnet @Starchan

The calm of the night was interrupted by the sounds of attack and battle from not afar, and that sent Vincent sprinting. He didn't like this situation - the Fleece gone, the barrier gone, the Mist gone - and he knew that they were all walking, talking monster food in the Camp. But this was his only home now, and he isn't letting any battle pass by unfought. The thoughts of heroically protecting the Camp made Vincent chuckle to himself, though he quickly brushed it off aside, focusing instead on the situation at hand.

When he got to the scene, several people were there, but more were coming from the direction of the Cabins, just like he was. But there were two people at the Campfire who were mostly unknown to him - but apparently not to Elijah as he literally revealed his status with "Sunshine".

Wait, traitors? They are traitors? Derricks blinding fury was so intense that Vincent could feel it in the air, its burning heat and scalding wind. It may have not been real fire but it felt like one. Vincent shivered.

And then the real fire was lit. Or maybe more of a hellfire, but Vincent doesn't like to distinguish one fire from another - he feared and disliked them all, anyway. He took a step back, inavertently shielding himself by using another person as a meat shield ( he didn't care who - he just didn't feel like being in the direct vicinity of the hellfire ). The others would understand his apprehensiveness and reluctance to do what Derrick commanded them to do, right? His heavy dislike of fire was some sort of common knowledge... but then again maybe that was just applicable for the Hermes kids.

" The gods and their petty fights again... " He mumbled, almost inaudible. His thoughts went back to the stories of before, the tales of the demigods who fixed the tangles of the gods, their parents. He remembered Khione, who sided once with Gaea, and he seethed. Why were they all involved with this? Why can't they just fight amongst themselves without involving the children who had nothing to do with whatever Nyx and Hecate and any other god had against the Olympians or whoever?

He just prayed to whoever that his father wasn't tangled in this mess. That old freezer better not, or he'll have just one more reason to start disliking that man.
