You might want to clarify in the role-play when you make the starting post about some of the things that were left unfinished or otherwise destroyed by some of the events in the books.
I'm sure people would automatically assume that those things have already happened, but real Percy Jackson fans. Fans who read the books. We might be a bit confused on matters such as the Demeter Cabin.

Is it bad that I read the trials of Apollo, and don't remember the detail about Demeter cabin being destroyed

It got destroyed when the Colossus that was crafted to represent apollo and emperor Nero attacked the camp.
Don't think it's in trials of apollo saga. I think it's in the Heroes of Olympus
