Beckham looked up when one of his half sister sat next to him. He felt comfort to see one of his sisters, they helped ground him in times of distress like this. It was no surprise that he was one of the few children of Aphrodite that had a hard time with their powers. But none of them cared. "Hey Sabreen," He greeted, before answering her question. "Not really I think it has to do with the gods disappering, at least that is the rumor." He looked around for any other members if the Aphrodite Cabin, but there didn't seem to be that many there yet. Beck and Sabreen were there pretty early compared to some. Sure there was a crowd, but not many people occupied the benches and the seats around the fire.

IsaacThere couldn't have been a better night in Isaac's recent memory to pull the newest prank he had out of his sleeve, him practically surging with excitement as everyone around him quivered in fear. Attendance for tonight's bonfire was going to be mandatory this time around, and that meant all the cabins would be left empty. No need to worry about being too loud or too conspicuous on the way in. Just head inside and raise absolute fucking Cain. Of course, Isaac would have to actually go to the bonfire and stick around for the first part of it. Knowing Chiron, he was probably going to take roll call first, and the last thing Isaac wanted was for his absence to be noted. Besides, he was going to need an extra set of hands for this trick.

Isaac lingered by the cabin door, double-checking the contents of his backpack. Stashed away inside were his best set of lockpicks, a couple boxes of maxi pads (don't ask), and a 16 oz bottle of red food coloring. You should probably get the idea.

It's gonna be perfect he heard himself think, resisting the urge to smirk as he strolled out towards the bonfire. It was already an hour or two after sundown when Isaac came out, and except for the fire ahead and the waxing moon above, the darkness was almost complete. As he arrived, however, he couldn't help but notice yet another glaring issue with the camp: everyone was a little too on edge. Lots of people who had shown up talked mostly in hushed, somber tones, heads down and eyes shifting nervously around. Some people had tears in their eyes. The campfire wasn't the hub of bliss and hilarity it usually was.

Isaac couldn't blame these people for being scared, though. He'd heard all about the meeting at the Big House through the grapevine, and truth be told, he was starting to feel his confidence wavering too after hearing what happened and what could happen to Dad. But if there was anything that was going to cripple the camp the most, it was bad morale. But Isaac had more pressing matters at hand. He still needed someone to help him with the maxi pads.

Shane seemed like the obvious option here. Isaac's half-brother was one of the the only guys in the camp who could pull this sort of thing off as well as he could, if not better. As quietly as he could, Isaac made his approach towards him, his sneakers silent against the grass, and took the liberty of plopping himself down on the log next to him. "Got a new one for ya, Shane." Isaac said as he let the bookbag fall from his shoulder, and, with his biggest, shit-eating grin, he pulled the zipper open to reveal the wonders he had inside. "So I found this in the pavilion earlier this week," he explained, referring to the bottle of food coloring. "and all of a sudden, I get an idea." With his other hand, Isaac whipped out a maxi pad. He didn't think he needed to explain this one much further. "Mind if you lend me a hand with these later?"

Kora Laskaris​

As the girls wolf growled, she felt a wave of protectiveness coming from Valkyrie, her falcon, who was watching over them over in the tree behind them. Letting out a screech, Valkyrie flew down from the tree and on too Kora's shoulder. Her beady eyes fixed on the wolf, watching over her master.

Kora was reminded by her fellow huntress of the bonfire, and doing so Kora was reminded of the news she needed to deliver to Deer. "That reminds me. Deer, I have notified Chiron that I am taking you along with me on this quest. You have shown me your heart, your strength and your unwavering devotion to our mistress. I'd love to take along another one of our sisters with us but Chiron insists we take along one of his campers." she spoke.

Candor Kane​

Candor anxiously had been waiting to hear from his Hades's siblings after getting word from his mother. She Iris messaged him right after she messaged them, it pained him to imagine the only father he ever knew being taken and there was nothing he could do to stop it. His mother was in a panic, she was left to tend over the Underworld that she had grown to love.

As word of the bonfire got to him, as soon as the sunset he made his way to the bonfire and found his sister Ember. He didn't care that she wasn't his blood, they were raised together, she was his sister. He sat next to her, "Em, do you know what is happening? Mom sent me a message, said Hades was taken. Any word from Derrick?" he asked quickly with a slightly panicked tone. He had been freaking out all day long.

He then felt warm arms get wrapped around him and a kiss on the top of his head. That could only be one person, his best friend and the love of his life, even if she didn't know it yet. Pike. His anxiety faded away and he smiled. "Of course I did." he said pulling her onto his lap. "My mom called too, Hades has been taken.. we're all in a bit of shock." he told her speaking for himself and his silent sister. Where was Derrick? Candor needed to speak with him, he knew he would be going on this quest, who else would? But he needed to talk with him before they left.

Dex Gibson​

Dex had spent the entire day in the forges after the camp had been put on lock down. If there was a war coming the camp was going to need weapons and armor. Dex was the man to do that, he was an incredible blacksmith, and was very proud of his work. Bohdi would stop by from time to time and he would wave, he tried to play in as cool as possibly although he was actually flexing and trying to look as good as he possibly could every time she came by. He got word of the bonfire and set down his hammer and grabbed a towel to wipe off his sweat and soot covered face.

As he stepped out of the forges he saw a group of campers all walking towards the bonfire, he spotted Bohdi walking alone and he ran up behind her placing his arm around her shoulder. She cried out telling him it was a new sweater. He laughed, "Come on, aren't you the one with the magic dry cleaning powers?" he said jokingly with a big cheesy smile.

As they walked towards the bonfire he picked them out a seat by Briar and the rest of Bohdi's siblings. "Hey Bri!" He greeted her as well as the rest of the Aphrodite children. He wrapped his hand around Bohdi's as they waited on Chiron to show up.

Briar Sterling​

Briar had spent the whole day organizing her closet, and the entire Aphrodite cabin closets as well. You could certainly say she had a problem. She had everything sorted by color, style, and brand. It was a perfect day to stay indoors, since you know the whole lock down thing. Although tonight was a scheduled bonfire that was going to be a celebration but now since it seemed like the world is ending, it's all going to come down to them to go on some treacherous quests and set the world back in order once more. You know, the usual.

Briar made her way down to the bonfire and quickly picked out a group of her siblings. Walking up to Beck and Sabreen, she noticed they had a new boy with the same shade of red hair that her and her sister adorned. "Hey hunnie bunnies! Who's the newbie?" she said with a smile. She then got a look at his face, her eyes wide like she had seen a ghost. She looked into his eyes, she saw her mother, she saw her sisters eyes. She had a flash back of the day that her and her sister came to Camp Half Blood. The night they got their they found a letter in their bags, it was from their mother, on the front it said "Open When You Meet A Boy That Looks Like You". This was him, this must be the boy mother meant. She frantically looked around for her sister, she found her walking up with Dex, who greeted her. "Hi Dex!" she said breaking into a run and grabbing the hand of her sister and running off with her to their cabin to find the letter. Briar had kept it in her dresser drawer all this time.

Derrick Emerson​

After the meeting Derrick walked back to his cabin with Eli. Multiple emotions written on his face, what has going on, and how was he going to save his father were the first thing on his mind. He made it to his cabin to give his sister the news, she had tears in her eyes has he spoke and he couldn't help but pull her into a hug to comfort her. "Em, it's going to be okay, we'll get dad back, I promise." he said trying to comfort her, but he knew his sister and she wasn't going to be okay till everything was back to the way it was.

That was when Viella came bounding through the door, she wrapped her arms around him in a tight embrace. He smiled, his daily dose of Vi was exactly what he needed to melt away the stress, even if it was only for an hour or so before the sunset. They laid in bed together, cuddled up with one another, simply enjoying the time they had together before they had to come back to reality. She then posed him a question. His immediate reaction was to want to avoid the question all together. He didn't want to think of being away from her. He was going on this quest to bring back his father and their was no question about. In his days at camp, he had brought back countless victorious quests, he practically held the record. Viella was still in her first year at camp, and while he and their group of friends knew how deadly Viella could be, he was afraid that Chiron could not let her come along with him. But Chiron had to know Derrick better than that, Derrick would worry himself sick thinking about her safety if he wasn't their personally to protect her. The same for her, the two couldn't be separated.

"I'm sure we will..." he said kissing her on the top of the head before the walked outside. Derrick whistled and his direwold Phantom bounded up in all his giant glory. Derrick lifted Vi up first and then got up himself on the horse sized wolf. They rode over to the bonfire and found a seat with all their friends.

Alexa Kratos​

As her brother bounded in threw the door of The Big House, Alexa shook her head. How was she going to knock some sense into her brother? This was not fun and games anymore, their father was missing. Everything was crumbling around them and her brother still thought it was all one big joke.

As they exited the Big House she spoke before her brother could run away again. "Not so fast! You are not going out of my sight before the bonfire, you seem to be having troubles being punctual, and I'm not going to let you be late again and Chiron replace you on our quest, I mean, you are my partner in crime, after all." she said giving her twin a hard time. She was secretly over the moon to be going on a quest together. He was the thunder to her lightning, and there was nothing that was ever going to change that.

Once the sun had set, the twins made their way to the bonfire and patiently waited for Chiron to deliver his announcement.

After the counselor meeting Ai and Rais parted ways until it was time for the campfire. Ai knew he would be the one to save his mother,there was no other person better than him. He was one of the camps most seasoned and powerful warriors not to mention he'd gone on numerous quests lead all of them mand practically held the record for the number of successful quests. (He's never failed a quest,not one) People like him,and Derrick and Rais went on only the most dangerous quests,Ai can't count how many times he's almost died which meant of course he and Rais would be separated for a long,long time but he wasn't sad it just meant that if he wanted to see Rais again he'd have to complete this mission quickly.
Ai spent the rest of the afternoon training,packing and making arrangements for the mission so that it could go as smoothly as possible. (He also secretly made arrangements for Rais too.)
When the sun set Ai made his way down to he bonfire where he saw everybody sitting together. He walked over to Rais and sat in his lap which easily accommodated his entire body and curled up to him as tightly as he could because he knew these were a few of their last moments together.

Beckham tried to take control of all of the emotions that were effecting him when his siblings started to show up at the bonfire. "Hey Briar, this is Beau, the news of the Aphrodite children." Beck answered, as she looked at Beau. Before anyone else could really say anything to her, she ran off toward he sister who was walking over with Dex and pulled her away. Beckham turned to Sabreen and Beau, "What do you guys think that was about?" He asked, his eyes scanning the crowd for a possible answer, but not seeing any. but he did get a slight feeling of intense confusion and then it was clouded again by the intense emotions of the kids around them.

After the meeting Soalris spent the rest of the day training,he knew that as the counselor of Cabin 7 he'd be the one to spearhead the mission to find and rescue his father. Soalris sighed not too long ago Apollo was stripped of his powers and made to be Malory all once again due to his blunders from the last big war,and now here we are again.
Once the sun went down Solaris headdd over it the fire pit and sat down patiently waiting for Chiron to arrive

In an instant, Deer's heart was lifted and her spirit regenerated once more. Kora had wanted to take her along on the quest for Artemis. It was an honor, and she would make sure to live up to it as much as possible. She could scream with happiness, but she kept calm and respectful. She nodded her head and she smiled. This was what she needed. "I'd be happy to accompany you on the quest." In fact, she was more than happy. There was no way she would be alright with sitting back at the Camp while Artemis needed her. She wouldn't be able to rest easy. She had to be out there, actively fighting the beings that took Artemis. "Do you know who Chiron wants you to take along with us, yet?" She hoped that it would be someone who would be easy to get along with. Someone who was unlike the daughter of Thanatos standing across from her. If this quest was going to succeed, there had to be as few conflicts and arguments as possible. Teams had to stick together, especially in times like these.​

Rosiette said her goodbye to Shane and hurried back to Demeter's cabin only to find El shouting at the other children. "Alright guys, a bonfire will be happening today. And I can see that most of you has had a dream too. We have concluded in the meeting that a quest will take place, twelve to be exact. Demeter has been taken, as the other Olympians but know this... It will be me who will take that quest for Demeter." El stated with a voice of oower and confidence, yet Rosiette could feel the fear that was subtly hinted in her speech. Rosiette walked in as El was about to say more. The four eyed girl looked at her twin and gave the wavy haired girl a cold stare. "Everyone, she may not be claimed yet but she is a daughter of Demeter. Rosiette Xanthos, treat her well."

As soon as that was finished, El went outside not even bithering to help her twin get ready. "Don't mind her. She has always been like that since I can remember. C'mon let's get your things fixed!" Shouted her half sister, happy to meet another sibling. While her other siblings asked her questions about her life outside of camp and why she just came now. Rosiette answered everything they asked but half if her mind windered just how El's life has been to be so closed off at the thought of the word family.

After going outside, El looked back at the cabin and sighed thinking if voluntering for that quest would be a goid idea ir she should just stay and try to keep her siblings safe. No... I need to talk to her. I'll get my answers, and I'll come back. El headed to the bonfire and seated just a few steps above Derrick and his group. El let herself drown in deep thinking about the quest, her possible teammates, and the many things that will happen to her. She was so deep in thought that she didn't notice Rosiette sitting just behind her, watching her twin worriedly as the other children if Demeter took their seats in the bonfire.

Brooke was scared but he was also very, very excited to see how he would fair in a quest. He's only been in one quest and that quest was never really a fun one nor was it a daring one. The bonfire has always amazed Brooke everytime he sees it. A giant fire in the middle of a large amount of people waiting for an announcement, it made him giddy with joy. Because he is quite the romantic. He was also hapoy to have a friend in tow. "I'll call you... Val, ok?" He asked with a smile before noticing Florin making amazing music, as always. He listened to the Sun child's sing in awe, "Doesn't it sound amazing, Val? I like this kind of music." And so, Brooke seated near Florin and patted a seat for Valdis to sit to.

When Florin finishes, Brooke will applaude Florin for his music and requests him to do Seasons by Vivaldi while they are still waiting for Chiron's announcement.

Lexi Firth - Cabin Counsellor of Athena

Lexi nodded during the meeting and swiftly left to attend to her own siblings. She whispered words of comfort and wisdom and had only just finished weaving scarves for each member before seeing the bright fire out the corner of her eye through the window. Lexi could work in the dark but had a small candle by her side, call her old fashioned but it sometimes made things easier to see.

"Oh great Zeus, I must hurry, " she had a scarf for her half-sister who was with her earlier and still had the silver shawl in her hands as well. Hand on hilt, she took off at a steady speed towards the group at the bonfire. Approaching, the British nodded to every demi-god around her and took a seat upon the log, next to her half siblings, her cloak drifted around her, she was regal, poised. An image of elegance.

"Good evening campers," passing the scarf to her half-sister, she gave a smile as she saw her other siblings with theirs on. The fire was low, so very low, no one was really happy or bustling especially after the problems with their parents, it was all so tense.

"My sisters and brothers, we, the counsellors and the hunters as well as Chiron have spoken and a quest has been declared by the Orcale, there are 12, each to reclaim our parent's, it's the main Olympians," she sighed as Lexi spoke to her Athenian siblings, calming them and informing them of the perils. When Lexi spoke, she spoke with confidence and love towards them all, despite the growing fear in her heart. Lexi then looked towards the twins and smiled and looked upon every other camper.

Lexi sighed, she needed to give Stacie and Nathaniel their scarves, and tell them she was more than happy to give them her spot if she was needed here. Lexi let out another sigh.
