Calvin Klein and Cigarettes

Flushing crimson right down to his ears as Craig made the comment about the location of the nerf gun in public, Oscar tried diligently not to think about going there, especially since they were on public transport and he was already ostentatious enough. He was only outdone by the mall, which was in full christmas-explosion mode, made all the better by Craig face as they walked around. Thankfully the anxiety Keegan had brought back had been wiped off, and seemingly transferred to Oscar as Craig told him not to worry. He seriously, really wanted to hold Craig's hand, it was just that every time he nearly went for it he thought he saw someone he recognised and chickened out, going back to the pathetic as hell pinky-nudging.

The series of curious glances and looks they got anyway didn't help much as Oscar trailed round with Craig, trying to be a helpful shopping buddy with opinions and shit whilst nervously fidgeting from one foot to another. He wasn't even sure why he was nervous now, since coming out hadn't seemed like that big of a deal before he'd confessed to Craig. At least Craig seemed content to put up with his stupid freakout, all smiles and politeness and once again Oscar wondered how he'd gotten so lucky.

"Coffee sounds great," Oscar said just before someone called out Craig's name, since coffee shops promised seclusion, hot drinks, and a chance to hide from the bustling crowds of shoppers. Turning at the sound of Craig's name, however, he had to do a double take to verify that the approaching men were actually real. Were scientists sure that photoshop couldn't be used in real life too? Or maybe twilight vampires were real. Oscar was pretty sure one of them sparkled. He didn't recognise them though, thankfully, though the name Marco felt familiar, but he was probably thinking of something else, like, say, an anime or manga. Who knows.

"Bae?" Oscar repeated, though really he probably should have expected this level of weirdness from the man who gave his own dick pep talks. Wow, he was dating that person. " 's nice to meet you," Oscar said a little shyly, not normally awkward around strangers but these were two ridiculous attractive men who pinched Craig's cheek, and who he was trying not to jealously tell to stop touching his 'bae', because even though he sucked at doing it in public at the moment that was his job, so there. No doubt they'd seen a dozen pictures of him completely smashed or involved in other embarrassing moments, so it was hard to try and act all cool and collected around them, self-consciously pulling down his sweater to try and look less... well, everything. He forgave them instantly, however, when they called Craig's freckles adorable, and instead smiled smugly in a 'told you so' fashion at Craig.

Back to flushing when they got rumbled for being in a date, Oscar blinked between the two gods-on-earth and then, trying not to impersonate a tomato as he did it, took Craig's hand in his own, since he wasn't sure he could give verbal confirmation of their dating without stammering like an idiot. It felt nice though, panic aside, to have Craig's hand in his, comforting in fact so that his holy-shit-world-I-like-men-okay nerves died down a little, and as Craig looked up at him he returned the glance with a small smile.

((OOC: For the life of me I cannot work out why someone has whispered 100. My current theory is that they're playing ominous as fuck hide and seek? Or they're scoring something. I'm pretty sure I'm missing something obvious here xD and once again, sorry for the long time span between replies. I shall try not to let it happen again xD ))

A shy Oscar was probably the cutest thing in the world. He wasn't even mad about not holding hands or otherwise being public about their relationship. Craig was doing his best not to point it out, but he really wanted to. Pointing it out would probably make Oscar even more embarrassed and hell that would be so cute! Craig just smiled at his friends when Oscar gave such a tiny response. This was his coming out, so they could take it as slow as they wanted. It probably didn't help poor Oscar's self esteem that his friend group consisted of the perfectly chisled Warwick Rowing Club type guys. Perfectly shaved, sexy and the only way you couldn't stare at their asses was if you were blind. They had seen pictures of Oscar, just like the poor guy was thinking. But they also knew the shit Keegan put Craig through, especially at work which he usually kept a secret.

Craig finally felt Oscar's hand in his own and he squeezed it reassuringly. He bit his lip, trying to hold back the huge smile that wanted to creep onto his face. Thinking about how cute Oscar was being, it was tearing him apart. He wanted to just jump his best friend and make out already. Relieve all their tension.

Instead of pointing out how nervous Oscar was, the two gods just smiled at each other. "Hey, if you guys ever need a couple to double date with~ even drinks ya know?"

"Of course." Craig replied, smiling at the two.

"And hey, you are dating one of the top Calvin Klein models out there, so treat this one well. Well... former Calvin Klein model." He looked at Craig and pouted a bit.

"Yeah yeah I'll think about coming back..." He would go back to them only if he didn't have to work with Keegan anymore.

"Well don't be a stranger. See you two around. Happy Holidays~!" Rory chuckled a bit as he looked at their sweaters again. He waved them off and headed to the foot court with Marco who's name is not from some anime, it's totally original.

"Let's get coffee hm?" He said as he smiled sweetly at Oscar. Craig was surprised he had mustered up the courage to hold his hand. He tightened his grip to reassure Oscar that everything was going to be okay. Though, he wasn't holding Oscar's hand captive and would let it go if he needed to. Instead of one of the mall coffee shops they hoped across the street to a smaller one that wasn't so crowded. It was still decorated cutely with greenery, ornaments and a tiny tree on the counter. Craig's eyes were so wide as he took in all the beautiful sights around him. He wasn't hard to please.

He ordered coffee and a warm muffin then they took a seat in the back away from most other people. "Hah... still have a list of people to shop for..." He took out his small notebook of people who still needed gifts. "Mom, dad... check and check..." He mumbled more checks as he crossed out the names of some of his friends. He wasn't that hopeless and lonely that he didn't have other friends he went out drinking with or hung out with. The last person on his list was Oscar and he put his pen next to his name. "You. What in hell am I supposed to get you?" He picked at his muffin and dramatically put his head on the table. "Everything I think of is more of a gift for us, not just you." A hookah or a game system would be for them.

Now that they were dating he was put under even more pressure. Oscar hadn't once asked him or complained about shopping for him so he could only assume that he already bought the perfect present. Should he really buy pizza cones? Or maybe all those shitty sci-fi movies? Craig knew Oscar wouldn't be upset with whatever he got because hell, his Christmas's were the best, with so much food, alcohol, drugs, and this year they would be filled with cuddling, kissing and possibly fun times. Craig stared at his muffin intently as he thought of the same thing poor Oscar had thought while on the train. He squirmed in his seat thinking about it then sat up with a blush on his guilty looking face. Poor Oscar was probably confused as to why Craig kept looking at him so strange, up and down, scrutinizing over him. Craig was not judging, no, he was curious as to whether Oscar would be the one to make the move first.

(( It was for the 100th post ahaha. <3 No worries! ))

(Omg lol, I thought it was some seriously ominous plot point xD I wasn't prepared for that shameless shattering of the fourth wall >w< Also, happy 100th post - Hey, remember that milk pun! HAHAHA. Hilarious. Wittiest thing we ever said. God we're geniuses.)

Holding Craig's hand all the way over to the coffee shop, keeping his eyes down and trying to ignore the fact that he had gone beet red, Oscar was grateful for the more secluded location and relaxed once they were seated. It was much easier to be not paranoid when isolated with Craig, especially since he was so endearing around christmas, gazing round and drinking in the sights. Honestly, Oscar had never cared that much about Christmas until Craig had dragged him into his world of obsession for it. He wasn't even sure anymore if he liked christmas, or just seeing Craig be so impossibly happy all the time. It was nice to know that even asshole-rapist Keegan couldn't ruin this.

Matching Craig's order - though he'd gone for tea instead of coffee, since he figured he was already hyperactive enough - Oscar sat listening to him list off his to-shop list, happy just to watch him talk and he leant against his elbow and hand, sipping at his tea. "Hey, cheer up," Oscar said, chuckling as Craig reacted a little melodramatically to being unable to get him something. "A gift for us includes me, doesn't it? Besides, you never had any qualms about it before hand." Smiling slyly, he nudged Craig's leg with his foot. "I know the TV was your attempt to disguise an expensive gift."

Picking his own muffin apart with his fingers, glancing over at Craig every other second, Oscar arched an eyebrow upon spotting the weird look Craig was giving him, all flushed and- wait. Oscar knew this look. Blushing himself, he blinked a couple times, because he'd never had this look used because of him before. The wiggling Craig was doing confirmed it. He was thinking about that kind of stuff. Oscar didn't realise his demolishing a muffin was so sexually frustrating.

It felt kind of weird to know that Craig was thinking that kind of stuff about him, in public, or at all for that matter. The fact that they were still dating was new to him, but the idea that Craig found him attractive was... the steady rising of crimson on his cheeks pretty much finished that sentence for him. Moreover, it was almost funny. He and Craig had always teased one another with lewd jokes and inappropriate comments, but it had never given any one of them a real, serious reaction like this, or at least not that he knew of. Now... now they had a hell of a lot more power on that front.

"Hey, come here, I want to tell you something," Oscar said quietly, leaning forward on the table and lowering his voice, wearing his most serious expression. He waited until Craig was close enough and then pounced, leaning in and kissing him square on the lips. Sure they were in public, but it wasn't the hordes of the mall and it was just some obscure coffee shop. More importantly, Craig flushing and his mind being there was more than a little arousing. Grinning into Craig's lips, Oscar didn't regret it one bit until-

"Well," A familiar, cringe-inducing female voice said, "Now I know why my breaking up with my boyfriend didn't end up with you throwing yourself at me. And here I've been being all offended."

(School ends in two days to I s2g I will be less unreliable and horrible and mean soon >w< Blame my evil teachers for giving me tests and my friends for giving me the flu :P )

"But... I want to get you something nice now." Craig said with a wimper. He put his face in his hands and let out a long sigh. Oscar hadn't once spoken about a gift for Craig, so he could only imagine that he was getting something wonderful. If he wanted to be a good boyfriend he had to up his game. The coffee shop was quiet, aside from holiday music playing in the background. It was nice and felt like a real date. Not all dates had to be ice skating, sledding and drinking hot chocolate under the lights.

"You know, maybe tonight I'll take a bath." As opposed to a shower. He always took a bath before hoping into bed with someone, if he had the time, that is. He didn't expect Oscar to already know that. The model didn't realize how painfully obvious his facial expressions where. From his lip biting, blushing shyness to his checking you out eyes. After years of switching from guy to guy and not bothering if Oscar was around, he probably recognized all his looks by now. That's why he kept on looking at Oscar, noticing things he already knew, like his piercings, but seeing them in a new light. Chew toys. His mind wasn't just in the gutter, he was thinking about lighter things. "You should lend me one of your sweatshirts ya know." He said in a truly innocent voice while he stirred his coffee.

"Eh? You don't have to whisper..." There were other people in the cafe but not close to them. Craig leaned in anyways and was pleasantly surprised at the kiss. The kiss rattled his nerves, especially since he had been so in thought earlier. "Ooh... Oscar..." He mumbled, falling victim to the kiss. Did he sound needy? Totally! He placed his hand on top of Oscars and gently squeezed. In public, really, he didn't mind? This confidence was definitely alluring and he felt like goo when Oscar's lips curled up into a grin. Craig pushed in a little more and snaked his tongue against Oscar's lips just as he also heard the voice.

Craig quickly pulled back and covered his mouth. He felt so embarrassed, but more so worried about Oscar. Oscar was given a brief glance but then Craig looked away in shame. Not shame for being with Oscar, but for being caught when obviously Oscar had been avoiding that. As much as he wanted to hiss at the girl and tell her to go away, he knew that would be rude. Oscar was good friends with this girl that he previously... was it dating or where they just sleeping together? Either way, he was doing his best not to let jealous rear it's ugly head. Craig was not typically a jealous person, but for some reason he felt those violent jealous butterflies in his stomach. He went back to nibbling his muffin and looked guilty.

He didn't know Beth as well as Oscar did of course, but from the outside they looked like a match together. Both with an alternative style, rather edgy and blunt. More importantly she was a female, with female parts that Oscar probably liked more than anything Craig had. Even after coming to his photo shoots he didn't once see Oscar get turned on. Before this, he hadn't really thought of it that much. Sure Oscar might have liked him mentally, but physically, probably not. Acting feminine wouldn't help, not that he was overly capable of pulling off a female. Not with his polos, sometimes morning stubble, and other bodily hair.

Last defense. "Haha, don't worry, it was just a dare." Craig was a terribly liar, everyone knew. Just like his sweet nature suggested, he was not one to tell a lie often and when he did it was obvious in the way he wouldn't make eye contact or how his lip would quiver. "I mean, unless I grew tits one day, I don't think I am an option." It hurt to say such a thing and now that he said it out loud, he really started to believe it. Craig played with a loose string on his sweater. "I just broke up with my boyfriend and Oscar is just being a nice guy." He took a sip from his hot drink and shrank back in the booth away from her. Craig didn't want to see Oscar's reaction, if he was pissed or flustered.

At least Craig's friends were gay, most of them anyways, so they wouldn't be surprised, but Beth was someone Oscar dated before. She was a threat. Threat had been detected and he wanted to fire his lasers but he was too nice of a person. Craig bit off the last piece of muffin and felt rather upset that he didn't have something else to pick at now. He sipped his drink, trying to appear casual.

(( I was trying to think of some way to slip in a milk joke but I got nothing. xD Ooh goodness, do your best! Just as a heads up, I'll kinda be away from the 23rd to the 4th on vacation. I don't think I'll have my laptop, so unfortunately I probably won't be able to post. D: I'll check in a few times though since I have my DS. ))
