Appearance Description: Chase is an anthropomorphic river otter, standing about 5’6” and possessing a slim, swimmer’s figure. He possesses the normal brown dorsal, cream ventral fur coloration of his species, though a patch of grown out fur on his chin has been dyed a darker brown color as a goatee. He has amber colored eyes.
Personality Traits: Chase is indecisive by nature. He does poorly in high stress situations, and tends to freeze up or blindly do what others tell him rather than thinking for himself. He can often be quiet and observant, but there’s an edge of snarkiness to him – though it usually manifests as a sort of good natured teasing, more intended to put people at ease and make them laugh. While he’s often caring and easy to get along with, he has a nasty manipulative streak that occasionally comes out. Chase is depressed, and it often comes across as severe self-loathing.

Appearance Description: Leo is an anthropomorphic maned wolf. He has a strongman’s build of thick muscles padded underneath a layer of fat, and stands approximately 6’4”. He has primarily red and white fur, with black highlights. Of particular note, the white patches around his eyes make them look about twice as large as they actually are. His forearms and hands are stained white, as is his tail tip, but his legs are entirely red. He has black streaks under his eyes that connect behind his head, and proceed down his back and tail.
Personality Traits: Leo is boisterous, and can be something of a braggart. He wears his emotions on his sleeve, and prefers to see the best in everything and everyone. He is charismatic, a natural leader, and possesses a pack mentality that drives him to keep his friends close. He’s protective to a fault, having always been the biggest and strongest of his friend group, Leo often took it upon himself to defend, or even avenge, the others, and could sometimes take things too far. At his best though, Leo is a constant ally and friend, and a mature and reasonable voice.

Appearance Description: Cassie is a short, dark-skinned Black girl with a round, solemn face. She has wide dark eyes and black hair that she wears in very short cornrows. She is stocky and surprisingly buff--working on a farm helps with that!

Personality Traits: Thoughtful and fair, Cassie usually ends up being the mediator in her friend groups. Her focus on everything being fair sometimes makes her indecisive. She is soft-spoken and a little shy, but knows how to stand up for what she believes in. She aspires to be a veterinarian someday and loves to learn about animals and the natural world.

History: Cassie was born in 1984 and raised on a small farm in Southern California. Her parents were both veterinarians who inspired her love for animals and for helping others. In 1997, she was a pretty typical teenager who worried about math class, watched The X-Files and Buffy, and had bi-weekly sleepovers with her best friend Rachel.

Then she, Rachel and some other kids found a crashed alien spaceship while walking home from the mall one night. If you've been to a Scholastic Book Fair, you know the rest of the story.

Sexuality: Still figuring it out.
Abilities/Powers: Cassie can turn into any animal that she has touched. The transformation lasts two hours, after which she has to turn back into her original form or be stuck in the animal's body forever. She can still be injured as an animal, but her injuries will heal when she turns back into a human. She can turn into other people but thinks it's gross and won't.
Headcanons (optional): Super into both Destiny's Child and Nine Inch Nails, and sees no contradiction.

Appearance Description: Molly has specifically designed his whole vibe to be as eye-catching as possible. He's usually covered in jewelry and brightly-colored clothing, and always covered in tattoos. The most obvious tattoos are a swathe of peacock feathers on the right side of his neck/right cheek and a snake winding its way down his left arm; there are more under his clothes. He also has many, many scars, though most of them are small and well-healed.

Like most tieflings, Molly has horns, a tail, and no pupils or whites in his eyes. He has light purple skin and curly, dark purple hair. 5'6", a little on the scrawny side, and fairly androgynous.

Personality Traits: Loves meeting new people, but isn't necessarily nice to them, though once he's your friend he's loyal to a fault. Past a fault and into a serious problem, even. Deeply suspicious of any and all authority figures. Your mom friend but if your mom openly made fun of you while making sure you were well-hydrated. He lives in the moment 24/7 and has never made a long-term plan in his life.

History (optional): Now that would be telling. He's a circus performer and fortune-teller by trade, and he's lived on the road for as long as he can remember. Ask more than that, and you'll get a different answer every time.

Abilities/Powers: He's pretty good at sword-fighting when he has his fucking swords. Other than that? Knows how to juggle and is disturbingly good at tracking down any person, animal or being that he puts his mind to.

Appearance description: Nana is an extremely lithe woman, standing at 162 centimeters (5'3") and weighing a mere 42 kilograms (92 pounds). She's stated by roommate Komatsu Nana to have envious pale skin and noticeably long eyelashes with a charismatic energy that made the aforementioned think that Osaki Nana was a celebrity at their first encounter. Nana typically dresses in punk styled outfits, typically by that of London-based designer Vivienne Westwood. She's stated by others to have a beautiful face, a feat made more alluring by her mysterious demeanor. She has a pair of doe brown eyes, with their lids typically being coated in a blended smokey shadow of browns and purples. Her lips are most frequently seen donning scarlet on their length, the color being a motif on both her fingernails and toenails—both being painted deep red. She has minor body modifications including five piercings on her left ear, three in her right, and a tattoo of a Ren flower on the left outer bicep.

Personality: Despite her bold appearance, Nana is shown as being rather friendly present day, albeit seldom revealing much about herself and maintaining a sense of honesty and straightforwardness. She's an extremely loyal friend with the core of her personality being kind and longing for friendship, although aving been abandoned by her mother as a child, Nana feels a sense of resentment towards her and those who she feels have abandoned her and is shown to be rather possessive of those she's fond of as a result. She feigns independence due to her sense of pride and ego, although at moments she feels helpless and weak, tends to turn to those she trusts deeply. She seems to enjoy others relying on her for help, although hesitates to do the same, implying shame when she breaks down in front of them. These moments are rare however, with Nana's usual disposition being that of a foul-mouthed hothead with a sarcastic and blunt sense of humor. While unimportant but perhaps notable, she claims to be a sadist.

History: Osaki Nana was born an illegitimate child in Meguro, Tokyo to a mother who abandoned her at four years old; leaving Nana to be raised with and by her grandmother. Her grandmother, feeling bitterly towards Nana's mother's poor decisions, forbade Nana from dressing too effeminately and wearing pink and red to keep from "tempting" men in the same way her mother did. It's heavily implied that Nana resented her childhood, and her life was fueled by bitterness, causing her to have a sense of rebellion embedded in her from youth. She was socially inept and lacked friends in high school, although made her first friend—Terashima Nobuo—when he lent her CDs, notably from punk band the Sex Pistols. Nana was accused of prostitution while in high school, and therefore expelled, having never completed her education; not fighting these accusations, although vocally debunking them whenever confronted about them. She suspects the ordeal perhaps stressed her grandmother greatly and led to illness, which resulted in her death. Following her grandmother's dress, Nana bought herself a formerly forbidden red dress, heralding her newfound freedom and she adorns it to a concert she attends with Nobuo. There she meets Honjo Ren, who would later become Nana's lover, and they end up in the band Black Stones (shortened to BLAST) together, with Ren on bass, Nana on vocals, Nobuo on guitar, and mutual friend Yasu on drums. They make a name for themselves in the little ward of Meguro, although such adventures are suddenly halted when Ren leaves to Tokyo to join rivaling and signed band TRAPNEST. A year later, Nana too goes to Tokyo, although broken up with Ren now, in pursuit of—too—becoming a pro-musician.

Appearance description: Hyskoa bears an intimidating stature of brawn, standing at 210.8cm (6'11") when barefoot, although height increasing to 220cm with his usual heels. He weighs 90kg (198lbs), a majority of that weight likely able to be attributed to the dense muscle he's developed. He usually wears ribbed bangles along the length of his arms, a theme almost always repeating at his ankles, the color of said bangles usually being a pale pink. His outfits change frequently although usually consist of a cropped shirt which bears two suit symbols on the front and backs, the sleeves either being short balloon sleeves or golden rings which expose the sides of his shoulders. Beneath the top is usually ribbed shirt mirroring the appearance of the aforementioned bangles, and bearing their color as well. He wears billowing pants and a pair of heels. His hair greatly contrasts the typically paler color scheme of his outfits, appearing as a vivid pink tinted orange with strands typically standing erect. His face bears sharp and angular features, a star and teardrop usually planted upon his cheeks beneath each eye. Although not very notable, Hyskoa has long and pointed nails which are unpainted.

Personality: Hyskoa describes himself as fickle and dubious, displaying self-awareness although disregard for harm he has and will likely continue to cause through his entirely self-serving nature. He acts solely according to his own freewill, doing anything that brings him amusement or the feeling of satisfaction, even willing to betray those who were his allies in pursuit of them. He has an instatiable albeit characteristically unpredictable bloodlust fueled by sadomasochism and an earnest love for combat and fighting powerful opponents. He enjoys toying with those who entertain him, or those who he suspect will be able to. His personality can only be described as predatory, his main motivation being the thrill of prey and predator. These feats are assisted by his observant nature, a feature Troupe members Mattiy and Nobunaga describe as being nearly inhuman. In a similar vein to observance, Hyskoa does display inquisitiveness when his curiosity is piqued and is somewhat akin to a cat who stops at nothing to satiate his curiosity. When there's something he has his mind and heart set on, there are few things that can come between him and his goal, even bearing the patience to wait years for it if need be. Nonetheless, Hyskoa's usual disposition is that of gleeful nonchalance, typically wearing a half-hearted smile on his face regardless of the situation. He seldom breaks his collected and occasionally coquettish demeanor.

History: Very little is known about Hyskoa's past, for he speaks little of it because due to his proclaimed disinterest in it. It is revealed that he joined the Phantom Troupe as a false member at some point after the Kurta massacre, and about two years before the events in Yorknew City, after defeating the previous #4. Around the same time, he "initiated" Kastro to Nen at the Heavens Arena, sensing potential in him. He then took part in the 286th Hunter Exam, during which he murdered 20 examinees. He was disqualified for almost killing an examiner during his first attempt.

Although never revealed by Hyskoa himself, he comes from Glam Gas Land, a small place in the United States of Saherta. He claims that his mother was a skillful woman who taught him to play cards, and only mentions that his family was poor and he would chew on gum until it lost its flavor in order to ignore interminably brewing hunger. He only mentions that he named both of his Nen techniques after a candy brand which came with stickers he enjoyed, and a certain favorite chewing gum brand of his during his childhood, implying that they may have been named "Texture Surprise" and "Bungee Gum" respectively.

Abilities/Powers: Hyskoa's a skilled Nen user, with his preferred weapon being a set of ordinary French playing cards, which he uses in combat by wielding or throwing them in conjunction with his Shu. Click for more.
Headcanons:
- As mangaka Togashi Yoshihiro approved of Ishida Sui's one-shot, even stating if he were to reveal Hyskoa's past it would be following Ishida Sui's one-shot, I am treating it as canon.
- When it comes to sexuality, Hyskoa's sexual appetite is fueled mostly by his bloodlust and thrill during combat. Disregarding abilities and strength, he is so far shown to only be attracted in earnest to Troupe member Mattiy. For ambiguity's sake, his sexuality will simply be labeled fluid.
- He's shown to hum to himself while playing cards alone.
- He states he dislikes noise, and playfully scolds Leorio. When things get too noisy, he can frequently be seen silently leaving the vicinity, proving truth to this statement.
- His name is officially spelled as Hyskoa in promotional merchandise, images, et cetera. Both spellings of Hyskoa and Hisoka are acceptable, and will be used interchangeably.

Other: While Hyskoa has a plethora of abilities, they won't be used in a way to damage other players or the environment without permission from said players or thread admin. I also take inspiration from all portrayals of Hyskoa, including the manga, 1999 anime adaptation, 2011 anime adaptation, theatre renditions, and animated films.

In daily life, Projekt Red is a mystery, seldom opening up to fellow Operators. They also question her background, based on her lack of education and socialization. However, it seems that Projekt Red has an affinity for fluffy tails, especially those of her fellow Lupo.

History: As already stated, Projekt Red's history is deeply shrouded in mystery, even her place of birth is undocumented.

Personality Traits: Alula is a cheerful young girl, often being very calm and positive in most situations as well as making many jokes, in contrast to her brother's timid and concerned nature.

History: Not much is known about her background except regarding her family. Her father, Rachis, was friends with the Author, but then became absent for unknown reasons. Calamus, Alula, and their mother lived in the ruins for a time. When their mother passed away, Calamus took the responsibility to look after Alula.
