Lol, I still don't really understand why they're disguised as maids in the first place. If the point is to intimidate the guests into behaving, would it not be more effective to have them out in the open rather than keeping them hidden?

My headcanon at this point is just that Ulfric is secretly a dirty old man who just wants to look at them in skimpy uniforms. Or Lucrezia is, either or.

If you're going to try something, you'd probably want to avoid maids whether they're dark maidens or not since the maids can just report you to dark maidens/bloodguard/cainhursts anyway. Right?
