Oh yea! I'm really looking forward to the spicy spicy drama that is going to ensue. I honestly feel that all of this might actually help Seldanna come into her role 🤔

, if you want we can discuss Sels and Relatia's relationship when they where both in the blood guard?
Certainly! We can DM the finer details if you wish.

Do keep me in the loop about any details Derwin would be aware of, since he was in the bloodguard at the same time they were.
Of course. I'll have to read the IC a bit to catch up, but I'm sure there'll be things here and there that your IC will remember. Most notably the...ahem...tantrum of the after decision of Ulfrics selection of Seldanna's ascension to Dark Maiden.

Lucrezia selects, Ulfric gets final approval.
Doesn't come up much since Dark Maidens don't die every often

Since the Black Court post now involves like 4 people anyway, so IG42 IG42 / Pilgrim59 Pilgrim59 want to come forward with any political stuff?
Hmmdibles
I mean, I still dunno what issues are usually brought forth that would be of interest to the court. Or what is going on in the realms atm. Best I could offer is some petty noble territorial disputes. And maybe some tax evasion. Something along that line?

Other than that, Sep could always throw in his 95 thesis on why potato is vital to the economy and his scheme to bankrupt the Dark Lord's enemies' agricultural economy. First the Church's economy, then we invade. Good plan? Great plan!

Time to engineer a virus and turn the Lightfolks into zombies. Mlem.

Just combine the plans and make an army of zombie potatoes

Without knowing how far in you are or what difficulty you're playing on, it's hard to say anything, but I will note that after a significant plot event in the middle or last third of the game, there is a slight jump in enemy levels and general difficulty. If you're on Normal, this doesn't matter much, they all die easy anyway. On Hard, they have some teeth to them and you have to be careful, regardless your level, though it's still not too overwhelming in terms of difficulty if you know what you're doing, and also if your units are prepared.

On Maddening, which I've never played because I'm not about that life, the game is excessively difficult from start to finish with very inflated enemy stats and ambush spawns thrown in to boot. If you want a real challenge, play that.

As of now, I'm playing the Golden Deer route on Normal Mode. Don't judge me because I want to be invested with the characters.

I'm at the part where the Three Houses reunite after the time skip.

Right now, I'm overleveled with my units being at level 49-50. My strategy was to level up all my units to be at the same level and hit the max level. I originally thought that the level cap was 50 but it turned out to be level 99 when I looked it up. So yeah, I started grinding EXP when it didn't matter too much.

Yeah, after time skip, the enemies get a little tougher because they're almost all promoted to higher classes. Not as much so on normal, and especially not at level 50, but on hard they become a bit more threatening. I played on Normal my first time too, so I wouldn't judge you for that.

By the way, Avari Avari , have you played Fire Emblem: Three Houses? There are some interesting parallels in the relationship between two of the characters and the one between Roland and Lucrezia from the last RP, and it all takes place in the backdrop of a powerful military Church organization with a lot of political sway and some questionable motives. Makes me wonder if you were predicting the future that whole time.

Plot twist: Avari is actually an uncredited scriptwriter for the game.

Cainhurst was basically based on Nohr from fates ya

But that was like three years ago when they were more background lore

Yeah, the Fates parallels with Cainhurst and Hinokah is pretty clear too. That, and Severa reminds me an awful lot of Camilla.

Three Houses, once you get deeper into it--particularly the Blue Lions route or, to a slightly lesser extent, the Black Eagles--becomes really a lot like watching Roland and Lucrezia as we wrote them. Not like, a perfect one-to-one comparison, but a lot of notable similarities. Maybe I was just primed to see more similarities than were really there, though.

BABY DIMENSIONS! WAIFUS EVERYWHERE!

Remember guys, Fates' story and characters are actually really good and well-written, but only if you do one simple thing:

Ayo, who's going to be the Pope with an immense caboose?

Actually, his name was Staxos, though he was a bit more obviously evil in my estimation than 3H's big-butt pope, especially toward the second part when he started stabbing people.

Lmao, that video. Hmm, does Staxos have a nice butt though?
