Command & Conquer Warlords Act 2
Part 1
War. The Third Tiberium War has begun with Nod Forces launching a large, full scale world invasion across all Blue Zones at once in an unprecedented attack not seen by NOD since the Second Tiberium War.
In many cases, Nod has either secured possible temporary holds on the grounds, or been repelled entirely due to an unruly horde with uncoordinated attacks. Not all NOD commanders were sufficiently up to the task. A fact that would most likely be dealt with by Kane himself, down the grape vine. Incompetence is not harbored well within the Brotherhood.
But the battles for control of the Blue Zones continue to rage, even as some others attempt to take advantage of the unexpected chaos for their own ends.
The Forgotten, those who had been affected by Tiberium in ways much more differently than the death that normally comes for humans have begun to be on the move, in many locations, taking advantage of the massive movements of Nod and GDI troops to expand their territories or even to strike back at those who deemed them inferior.
The Civilian population, those who don’t fall under any of the other organizations or disenfranchised people, truly have a choice as well. They can further secure their holdings from any possible invasions of the other groups, or they can take the initiative. Especially while the BIG BOYs and GIRLS are busy duking it out.
GDI
The EVA unit that all GDI Commanders sparks to life and begins to rattle off important information as it trickles in on her servers. Or at least the computer servers that had been on the ground as those that had been on the Philadelphia had been destroyed.

Xavier Vásquez would have been one of the many that had been on a call with a loved one when it cut out. Perhaps it was merely an Ion Storm that caused a blockage of the signal. It wouldn’t be the first time. But usually that sort of thing would have been foreshadowed by a static laced image and volume. And neither of them were in a yellow zone where that kind of thing was common.
No. It wasn’t that. And his fears were brought forth as the news networks began showing what happened. The Philadelphia, which had been the seat of all that was GDI’s leadership since before the Second Tiberium War was gone. And so was his adopted mother.
The woman that had protected Spain from the machinations of NOD, making an alliance with The Forgotten in the region and bringing them into GDI. She had rebuilt an entire nation….and now she was gone.
All of Spain would be mourning her loss soon as she was an instrumental figure in helping integrate the people there into GDI in the first place.
It was then that he noticed the light on the console. Pushing the button, a soldier in the field was giving him an alert. One Lieutenant Cho from field intelligence. She looked understandably frantic and frazzled.
“Commander. Incoming Nod all across the board in every Blue Zone on the map. I’m sending you mission briefings from Captain Denver out in the field. We can only reach one of them in time. Hopefully the other Commanders can pull an assist.”
And so it begins…..
The Royal Mechanized Regiment
Field Marshall Carwyn Llewellyn Jones was sitting at his desk when he got the news. The entirety of GDI was under attack. Not only was leadership gone to shit with the literal head of GDI chopped off at the neck with others trying to scramble to put together some sort of chain command, but NOD was on the full offensive after many years being mostly in the dark or border raids, being relegated into the annals of history.
But he and the Royal Mechanized Regiment knew better. That was why they further developed the mech technology that they possessed. Having technology as powerful as GDI was in the Second Tiberium War was costly, but the heavy attacks that they could pull, could in fact make the difference in this war. They could defend their lands and still push back hard enough to make NOD think twice before they’d strike again.
Them and their Prophet Kane would be foolish to try to take any Blue Zone, but certainly not to take The British Isles. His home turf was not up for debate and he would have to show them exactly why it was such a bad idea for them to do so.
He contacted his Field Intelligence officer, Lt. Ellis, a rather straight laced fellow that always seemed to remain calm no matter what danger he was facing.
“Sir, I am laying out what available locations we can reach with our forces. However, be advised that they are striking hard enough that we will only be able to defend one location before the other two are overrun at the present if not defended by other GDI Commanders. I’ll put you through to Captain Denver. He’ll give the brief.”
Damocles Air Fleet
Fleet Commander Cornelius was sitting on the bridge of The Sword of Damocles, the one of a kind IronClad GDI Command ship when all hell broke loose.
Alarms began blaring as the ship dodged massive bots of debris from the sky. That was when he got the report. That debris was in fact from The Philadelphia, the main command station of GDI that had been orbiting the planet.
Nod managed to get through their defenses and strike it down while most of GDI Military and Civilian leadership was onboard for a conference.l
But this recent event, the destruction of the Philadelphia, ended that and disrupted his daily status quo, his normal routine.
Not that exact act itself, but what it unleashed. It was the full-on NOD attack on the Blue Zones. It disrupted his routine.
Cornlius pushed a button on his console, bringing up the straight laced face of his field lieutenant so that he could find out the situation on the ground. Lieutenant Masa was on hand and with an exemplary record, even when compared to his own usual standards. Which meant that not one rock would be misplaced or event un recorded on the task at hand.
“Report.”
“Yes sir, There are three cities that we are in range to repel the actions, but they are attacking with such force, that we will only be able to defend one of them before the other two are overrun. If we are lucky, other GDI Commanders will be able to respond to the other two locations.
Captain Denver is ready for the mission briefing.”
The Czechoslovak Legion
The Czech Legion were a GDI force that operated outside in the more rough and tumble areas of the yellow zones. They may not have had the fancier types of equipment such as mechanized soldiers or fliers or even tanks.
But what they did have was strong and willing infantry supported by quick and fast vehicles and even allies within the Forgotten that they could call upon in their time of need.
Certainly allies who knew the Tiberium were useful and would continue to be such in defending the world from the terror that was NOD.
These thoughts were deeply entrenched as all hell broke loose.
The main command center, the Phildaephla space station out in orbit had been destroyed by the Brotherhood in a radical attack.
Now, they’ve launched a full scale invasion of all BLUE ZONES.
But, they had their allies to rely upon in these times of need.
The communications officer, a hardened woman named Lister hailed the Commander. “Sir, we are getting called from a Commando in the field, A Captain Denver is requesting assistance in three separate locations that are in dire need of protection.
Shall I put his briefings through?”
NOD
The Brotherhood of Nod
On screen, a man dressed in Nod colors of Black and Red, a military uniform from the Second Tiberium war took to the podium. His eyes looked as though they were filled with a fervor that many had seen before.
They knew that it was time….
“Brothers and Sisters, it is time to throw off our shackles of oppression and face down the oppressors that are GDI. For too long, they have hoarded supplies and greater lifestyles beyond their city walls in the Blue Zones. Now, with the destruction of the symbol of their oppression from above and the death of their leadership, now is the time to strike back and take back what is ours!!
PEACE THROUGH POWER!!
To all Nod Commanders, it is now time to strike back at the designated Blue Zones and Capture land that is to be ours in the name of KANE.”
The Arctic Dreadfleet
The word had been given. One of the Generals, a Grand Insurgent had on the word of Kane, destroyed the Philadelphia as the opening salvo of the Third Tiberium War. Now was the time for the Admiral to make his mark and do enough to join in Kane’s Inner Circle, the most coveted place of power within the Brotherhood.
He would show Kane that this man of the sea was all that he needed to crush the GDI opposition. His ships, top of the line all, would roll off of the assembly line and into the heart of GDI.
His own skill on the sea has brought him many loyal soldiers in the name of Nod and now was the time to use those very same men and women to assault the Blue Zones that GDI have protected for countless years.
The Yellow Zone is where their main base is situated, but if all goes well, they will be bathing in the glorious waters of Florida and beyond, before long.
Pushing a button on his computer, he summoned up the image of his field Intelligence officer, a beautiful young woman with piercing blue eyes and a perfectly crisp uniform named Valeria.
She gave a salute as he came on screen, the proper respect for one of his rank that is beloved by his people under him and feared by his enemies, those that had survived. “ Admiral, we have been given three possible targets within the Blue Zone of the Eastern Seaboard to attack. Whichever one that we do not attack, other Nod Commander will assault. So the choice is yours first as befitting someone of your Command.
Brother Bartholomew is on an open channel with the mission briefing, sir.”
Solace of The Choir
Over the years, the main hub for Central Consensus was slowly moved out of the yellow zone that was southern Spain and into the Red Zone that made up Egypt and specifically into Cairo.
Cairo was a place of significance for NOD as Consensus had been in command of the base that had fired the ICBM that had destroyed the Philadelphia space station. After years of painstaking deliverance before Kane, they had been able to prove that they are just as capable, but much more obedient than CABAL.
Eventually, GDI could manage to track their position though, and they will need to be ready for that. In the meantime, Kane has ordered Nod Forces into the Blue Zones, but there is a series of special missions for Central.
The Cyborgs of the Choir were all under its control, much in the same way that CABAL had been, but the Choir had far more safeguards in place and was truly loyal to NOD.
A screen lit to life as a hooded figure appeared. “Sir, Brother Bartholemew is ready for the mission briefings. It is time for the annihilation of GDI and the rise of your machines of the Brotherhood!”
La Mula Muti
The Drug Trade was highly lucrative. Babalu was at this point, rolling in the dough. These new Tiberium based drugs sold like hot cakes allowing him to gain many new followers as well as those that had followed the old Box Lord.
The drugs would spread, he was sure of that. Especially now that the attacks have begun. With the Philadelphia destroyed and all those aboard with it, GDI should be ripe for the picking.
Just think of all those lands that would be easy pickings for his claims in order to have more growth of the drugs. Fields and fields of it, growing, just for him and his to use as he sees fit. Wonderful, wasn’t it?
A beautiful young woman wearing a slightly disheveled Military Outfit came by and saluted, shaking him from his reverie. Her name was Naraji and she was Babalu’s intelligence officer. All important information tracked through her on the way to Babalu.
“Sir, Now that the attack has been launched, Brother Barthelemew has some choice targets for us, if we wish to take it. The rewards can be quite wonderful from what I hear.”
The Glory of Nod was at Hand.
The Forgotten
“Those who have been taken by the green crystals are thought to have become lesser. But that is not true. We have become something more. Something much more in tune with the world at large as it has been becoming.
We might now be different from the human race, but we are still men and women. We are those that wish to exist among you and not be held at arm's length. We wished to be embraced within the call of your cities and your people.
But we have been rejected at almost every turn. Only within the land of Spain have we found a safe harbor. And only then, under the guidance of a woman that with the destruction of the Philadelphia has been lost to us.
It is only a matter of time until we once again have no home.
For those who are lost, you have not been Forgotten.”
-Unknown Transmission
The Sunset Grove
The Outback has been a place where The Forgotten could retreat to for quite some time. Much of it has been transformed into a yellow zone, and there was a large spot right in the center of it that had become a Red Zone.
Tiberium life forms are clearly the next stage of the evolution of humanity. And yet, humanity has shown that they are afraid. Hating that which they do not yet completely understand.
When in reality, they should embrace it and the changes that it will bring about. They should let their minds join with ours as we command our mutated animals across the countryside.
We shall make a new and better home.
Australia is unwelcoming to those that do not belong, but those who have been mustated, those that have been Forgotten by society at large, they could become new.
The Zoo has begun to fill up and it is time for the people to reach out.
Talia, the Twins “communications” officer approached them. “We have a message from ‘Dimitri”. He has some missions for those Forgotten that are listening in on the video frequencies. It seems that with the Philadelphia destroyed, choice Nod and Civilian targets have opened up.”
Neo-Druids
The time of the neo-Druids is at hand. The spread of Tiberium has led its way to the flourishing growth of Tiberium based creatures and creatures that have been mutated by the green crystal into something new and different.
The Neo-Druids wish to live in tune with this new nature as the druids of old and create great enclaves of peace with the newer growth of the environment.
There are those that wish to control and revert the environment back to its pre-tiberium days, GDI and The Brotherhood who wish to spread it to reach some sort of ascension.
With the destruction of the GDI leadership, NOD has launched attacks into their BLUE ZONES, leaving their Yellow Zones ripe for the taking.
The Neo-Druids will be able to claim the Tiberium Lifeforms for their own.
A young Militia man wearing drab brown robes with crystals growing out of his shoulders by the name of Arvis rushed forth and gave a deep bow to Amirjah.
“I have tracked down some locations that would be good for us to strike against to find more animals to add to our flock. These have been backed up from communications from “Dimitri” as long as you want to listen to them.”
Gool
“What do we want?”
“Them to Get Off Our Lawn!”
“When do we want it?”
“Now!”
The forces of Gool have been all a flutter ever since they heard the news from the communications relay. The Space Station of GDI, The Philadelphia was finally felled by Nod. Now Nod was on the offensive while GDI scrambled like a chicken with its head cut off.
Now was the time that they could strike out against both GDI and Nod if they truly wanted.
They heard lots of chatter of many civilian and Forgotten forces making their moves with the big power players engaged with each other. It could be a glorious thing and something that they could use to their advantage.
Especially if they could get their hands on any of that sweet, sweet technology that they like to hoard.
Both GDI and NOD made their bases within the region. And they could do with a scrap.
On the other hand, the civilians might also be at a loss and might just be the ticket that they want to punch to claim land, resources and equipment.
A long haired, bright eyed boy of about 17 years wearing a headset ran over to the leader of Gool.
“Sir, we’ve gotten a transmission from that crazy Russian Guy. Dimitri is what he calls himself. He’s heard of some places that might be ripe for us to pick at. I’ll loop you into the video call if you’re interested.”
Civilians
The newscaster wore a dark blue suit with a matching tie as he moved papers around rather absentmindedly before speaking with a downtrodden look upon his face.
“It is a sad day in which we must inform you, the general population of the destruction of the GDI space station, Philadelphia along with hundreds of thousands of people in what was most assuredly a NOD terrorist attack against the members of the GDI.
NOD forces have begun to attack all BLUE ZONES and we at the station urge all of those who live in these blue zones to take shelter in doors and wait for assistance. It is a dangerous time for all.
Stay safe.”

The Defiant
Wenert Hafner had recently been put in charge of the city after a mutant extremist group had unleashed Tiberium Fiends into the city. There wasn’t much left of the previous ruler after that and he was unceremoniously given the position with all the power and responsibilities that came with it.
Things at least had recovered nicely and the city was moving smoothly. They had their walls and they had their troops to help protect them against whatever they needed to fight.
Which he would have thought would have been the odd militant or Tiberium based lifeform that got past the walls.
Oh how wrong he was proven when the Philadelphia was destroyed and NOD rushed forward attacking all the blue zones and everything in between. Their land was part of Switzerland that was actually in the Blue Zone.
Nod Militants were charging the Blue Zones, but they hadn’t yet made it to their location. However, it could only be a matter of time before they managed to breach the outer Blue Zone defenses and charge forward into the lesser defended cities such as theirs.
A frazzled Militia Communications Officer appeared in Wenert’s screen. His name was Lieutenant Yodder.
“Sir, Nod has reached the cities near our own. We are getting a communication from Sergeant Ballard? He is requesting assistance with a few locations that need defending. Should we hear him out?”
Mining Op-37
Another day, another great haul of Tiberium for the Mining Operation. Sure, over the years they’ve changed hands. With first being under the protection and overseen by the Global Defense Initiative.
But once they eventually pulled out, Nod has been the one pulling at the strings. Asking more and more from them with less and less support. So much so that many of their people have begun to feel the effects of long term Tiberium Exposure.
In recent times however, Nod seemed to pull back as well. Something about some sort of HUGE operation about to happen.
Well, it was pretty easy to understand what the operation was when The Philadelphia was destroyed by a Nod ICBM that should have easily been intercepted.
Now, Nod was on the full offensive.
But where did that leave them? Would GDI launch a counterattack against this Mining Op if they managed to recover from the Nod Invasion?
Or would they continue to leave them alone as they have done for many years now.
Before any of those thoughts could be further developed , a scraggly man that ran what passed for a communications station sauntered casually up.
“Hey Boss, just wanted to let you know that some Security Chief who sounds kinda frazzled, I think his name was Sergeant Ballard is asking for some assistance. He’s willing to give some briefings on the missions. Do you want to hear them out?”
Titan Corporation
The Titan Corporation provided safety and security to yellow zones where they were able to keep a constant edge on the competition with the brilliant research into genetic engineering.
There is no shortage of supplies, gathering samples of biological and technological series from the battlefield, allowing them to make leaps into technology that have been previously developed by both GDI and NOD.
They are carving a path towards the future. One without the totalitarianism of GDI of the Fanaticism of the Brotherhood of Nod.
Instead, just pure SCIENCE.
An alert popped in from the communication network. It was all over the news and seemingly on every channel.
The Philadelphia has fallen. Nod managed to destroy it with an ICBM, somehow managing to circumnavigate GDI’s space defenses. And during the main Global Energy Summit with all of the GDI Military and Civilian leadership onboard……
GDI would be caught off guard without their leaders. Shown by an immense large scale invasion of Nod forces upon Blue Zones.
This could be the perfect time to gather data or samples to improve Titan Corporation’s research.
The Chief Communications officer for the company, a prim and proper woman named Lina popped up on the CEO’s screen.
“Sorry to interrupt you, sir. But we are getting communications from an outside security officer who goes by Sergeant Ballard. Apparently he has key information about a few locations that are being hit that could use some defending.
There is talk of reward. Shall I put him through?”
Outcull
Outcull was a strange research center. It was one that didn’t seem to specialize in just any one branch of research and seemed to have a wide net cast on whatever happened to catch their fancy.
This sort of lackadaisical approach did help them attract various scientists and researchers that didn’t want to just meet quotas or be forced to research highly specific things.
No. This place was attractive to those types because they could research what they wanted. Sometimes they had ones who went forward into electronics and drone works. Others went into various taming methods for Tiberium lifeforms. And still others focused purely on Tiberium research.
It was truly another relaxed day at the labs when a massive explosion rocked the building. Looking outside, they could see large pieces of metal falling to the planet. And when they checked the news, it seemed that all hell had broken loose.
Nod had brought down GDI’s Space Station HQ, The Philadelphia. And with it, Nod is on the move, attacking anything and everything between them and GDI’s Blue Zones.
This has seemed to signal The Forgotten that they could take advantage of the chaos as well, with some blatantly attacking civilian settlements.
Their force was small, but perhaps they could make a difference.
The communications office, named Lestat chimed in.
“It seems we are getting video calls from some security officer out in the field named Seargant Ballard. He needs help securing some locations that are under attack. Shall we jump in before any other groups seize the opportunity?”
The Scrappers
For the Scrappers, it was just another ordinary day. They gathered scrap hordes from the surrounding areas and returned home with it to their giant forest so that they could use it to improve their vehicles, their houses, their weapons. Pretty much every aspect of their lives.
After all, many equipment is lost or destroyed in the yellow zones, either from Nod to Nod warfare or from Forgotten Raiders or even older GDI bases that have been lost to time.
Its up to the brave and the bold to acquire what is out there for themselves. And luckily, The Scrappers under Sasha Popov was just the kind of people to do it.
They had just brought in a nice haul of scrap when the sky practically lit up. At first, the alarm was sounded by a naturally jumpy scout on watch.
But then communications started coming in that The Philadelphia, the Space HQ of GDI was obliterated by a Nod ICBM, throwing the entire world into chaos.
Nod launched a full scale strike into the all the Blue Zones on the planet, keen to steal them from GDI.
But, this was a perfect opportunity, whether to scavenge through recent battle or to make some scrap of their own.
A thin man wearing Scrap Armor walked cautiously to Popov and gave a salute. “Sir. We’ve gotten a communication from a Security Officer in the Field. A sergeant Ballard. He’s apparently calling for help from any Civilian forces nearby. He’s got some missions if you’re interested.”
